    Wedding DJ, Monogram, and Videographer

    We used Party Pros Detroit for our wedding as our DJ and Videographer. Samantha and James who run the company were on time for our meeting and answered all of my questions. Samantha is VERY prompt at responding to emails which made asking questions a breeze. Their online planning website is super convenient and allows you to make play lists for your event including a do not play list. It was super easy to use and even helped with making a timeline for our wedding. It was reassuring to know that once we put in all the songs and information for our wedding it would be right there for our DJ. Matt, our DJ called us the week of our wedding to go over the details and ensure all our questions were answered. He was very nice, friendly, and easy to work with. He ensured the dance floor always had people on it which is exactly what we wanted. He made all the appropriate announcements, kept the crowd involved, while at the same time not being over zealous. We also got a personalized monogram with Party Pros. They had multiple designs to choose from and set it up in a perfect location. Our Videographer was Michael. He also called us the week of our wedding to go over the details and location. He was super friendly and great to work with. The camera he used was small and not huge with a big bright light like at some weddings I've been to. He worked with our photographer and I barely noticed he was there. When we woke up the morning after our wedding we already received a short preview video which was a complete surprise! We cannot wait to see the finished product! I had a great experience with Party Pros Detroit and would highly recommend them!

    Bill was great! The music play list was great and he hit a few request I really wanted. He was very helpful on making sure everything ran on time. Thank you so much.

    Jim was an excellent DJ! He stuck with the schedule and always kept everyone on the dance floor. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how good he was and how they had a blast. Jim really made our special day complete, we couldn't have asked for more. Samantha who ran the photo booth was also great. She kept everything fun and ran things smoothly. Overall, I would recommended them to everyone!

    They were great! They have an online system for everything which was awesome! You can set up the timeline, pay balances, choose music and just give them a general idea of what you want. If they don't have a song you want you can request they get it too.

    Detroit Party Pros was great!! Bill was amazing!! My every request was catered to, and they even tried very hard to find an impossible song! Bill called me a few days prior to our wedding and went over everything that we had planned - and even things that I hadn't had planned. He was great about my crazy requests that involved lying to my guests and having people borrow his microphone to sing my husband and I love songs to make us kiss.

    Their website is great and easy to use, and their prices are very reasonable.

    Fantastic job!! Our daughter had a fabulous time. The guests could not speak enough about the quality and professionalism of both the DJ (Ellis) and the photographer (Gary) What absolutely superb service!! Ellis you gave us a real party and kept the guests entertained. Gary you are such a gentleman. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

    Samantha and James (owners) are amazing to work with! They were very up front and honest with us and gave us their opinion on exactly what we needed, never once tried to upsell us! They set us up with an amazing photographer, videographer, and dj...all three of whom helped to make our day so great! Would definitely recommend!

    Truly amazing. Provided monogram I was able to design myself, photobooth with customized strips for guests and a copy glued into a book that the guests signed as well as all photos from strips and strips on a flashdrive, uplighting for the room, dj for ceremony and reception, photographer, and videographer. They are amazing to work with so willing to do whatever you want, willing to help or guide you when needed, and extreme quick response time. Made all of our dreams come true and then some!!!!

    Let me just say wow! Michigan Dj Service was everything we were looking for and more! Your DJ is the one who keeps your event alive and exciting.. and these guys will so do just that! I would highly recommend them to any future bride! I actually live in Florida but had my.wedding in Michigan so I was a little nervous about doing things out of state but this company has such great communication that there were no worries at all!     I loved working with Michigan DJ service! Their rates were definitely affordable, and we received the same service that we would if we spent more with the "big name" companies. Even though our original DJ was sick, James pulled us through and I did not even notice the change in DJ until the end of the night. They did an awesome job and I recommend them to anyone and everyone hosting an event!

    We used michigan DJ service for our Aug. 2011 wedding, the DJs were tons of fun and very professional, they kept the fun going all night long! they even kept their cool and made everything work through a power outage, in which out banquet hall was on generator for part of the time during the reception, they handled everything so well that I didn't even know that we were on a generator until after the reception! I recommend them to everyone I come across planning an event!

    They were able to get me all of the music that I had asked for and responded to emails right away.

    The DJ did not start/end songs at the times that I had asked. For example, our first dance was supposed to start at 12 seconds into the song and end at 1:42 and he didn't start or end it at the correct place. He did the same thing with my music for walking down the aisle. I wouldn't be as annoyed about it, but I asked them if they wanted me to edit the music down and send them the sound files and they said not to worry about it and that the DJ would take care of it.

    Also, when I called they told me all of the DJ's dress professionally in suits, but my DJ was just wearing a nice shirt and pants. I had a very formal wedding where everyone else was wearing suits so I did not appreciate that.

    Everything was great!

    DJ was ok. I had a complete compilation of songs I wanted played and the type of music I wanted played throught cocktail hour and dinner. For the most part that was ok but then I hear KC & JOJO before our introductions and I was horrified. Never would have had that play at my wedding by choice. Reception music was ok but he took way more liberties with the music than I wanted. Owner is extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. Has no business etiquette skills. DJ was supposed to "MC" the whole evening meaning he keeps everything going. He had to be told to announce things pretty much every time.
