From the moment we finally met him on our wedding day, it felt like we had known him forever. His energy, his vibe, his presence… everything was effortless and genuine. He didn’t just show up with a camera — he showed up with passion, creativity, and a heart for capturing moments that actually matter. Every special moment, every emotion, every little detail we never want to forget… he captured it so beautifully. Watching our film back felt like reliving the best day of our lives all over again, with every laugh, tear, and feeling perfectly preserved. His work truly speaks for itself, but what sets him apart is the relationship-building and care he pours into his clients. He made us feel comfortable, celebrated, and understood the entire time. Booking Liz as the photographer for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Liz was really a joy to work with, and the quality of photos is top-notch. We picked her because she's skilled at combining wedding and nature photography (we really wanted the beauty surrounding our wedding venue to shine) as well as capturing candid moments throughout the day. Some things that really stood out for us: • Super-organized: When we were trying to pick a location for our engagement shoot, Liz shared PDFs with photos and pros/cons of places around Lake Tahoe, as well as samples of some photos from past shoots at each place. • Flexible and accommodating: We ultimately needed to reschedule our engagement shoot due to poor weather. Liz had no problem changing the date the day before. When we both realized later that we'd unintentionally rescheduled the shoot for Easter, she graciously still drove up to Tahoe that evening for our sunset photos. • Made us comfortable: During both our engagement shoot and on the wedding day, Liz easily shifted from directing photos when needed to stepping back and getting candid shots of us all. We felt very natural and comfortable throughout. • Speed! Liz was SO FAST at getting us sneak previews of our photos (often within a day or two) and the full set of photos (4-6 weeks). • And of course, photo quality. Adding photos so you can see for yourself! So grateful to have booked Liz!

Skip and his wife were amazing. They spent all day with us at our wedding a took over 2000 pictures. Both Skip and his wife were not invasive and got the shots and made us feel very comfortable. They spent time with us during our engagement pictures and gave us pointers for the wedding day. Skip worked with us while making our album to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. I would definately reconmend SMDS Photography.

Amber and her team of assistants were amazing and made our pictures fun and memorable! Looking forward to next time!!

Chris is absolutely amazing to work with! He takes the time to make sure he gets the most perfect pictures for your big day! Chris is down to earth, funny, and you can tell he is passionate & 100% dedicated to what he does. He provided us with TONS of pictures (both black & white and color) from our wedding and every single picture is absolutely stunning. Do yourself a favor & hire Chris for your big day! You won’t regret it!

Marjorie, the Photographer for StellaSweet Photography is an incredibly talented photographer. My photos were almost as important to me as the man I married. I know it sounds silly, but I am a photographer myself and good photos are truly a huge part of who I am. Marjories work speaks for itself, her photos have glow, they catch light and emotion and she has the ability to make everyone around her relax. My husband does not like his photo taken, and he is a bit on the "grumpy" side and the smiling, relaxed and fun photos marjorie took are truly Magic. I had a lot of photos I wanted to get, I gave her quite a list ad we did them all. best of all, my group photo. I have a picture of everyone that was at the wedding in one group shot! Memories I will keep forever. I will be calling Marjorie for baby photos as soon as we get our family started.

Justin offers the best value and convenience of hiring both a photographer and videographer. For $4,500 we had him as our photographer with an assistant and a videographer with an assistant for the entire day. What I loved most about him though was how calm and flexible he was the day of the wedding when I was getting ready and stressed about falling behind schedule. He made it clear that the day was about me and he was there to document it all when I was ready.

Sarah is such a great person to work with! She was super accommodating and we had fun during our photography sessions throughout the wedding. I am so excited seeing how well the photos came out!

Colleen photographed our engagement session, my boudoir shoot, and our wedding. Not only is she incredibly easy to work with but her photos are amazing! I will be using her for any photography needs that I have in the future.
