Everything was wonderful, the hotel was very accommodating, the ballroom was elegant and beautiful, and the the staff went above and beyond. There were rooms downstairs that we were allowed to use to get ready in, and the upstairs powder room was a beautiful place for pictures. My only complaint is that the upstairs deck could be so much better, maybe a tiki bar set up or a garden bar. They also did our food and we chose the pasta bar which was amazing!

The Lafayette did an excellent job making our wedding day perfect. We were able to get in the evening before the wedding to do our decorating. They provided tablecloths and napkins at no cost. Gorgeous chair covers are available for a fee--definitely worth it! They set up all the tables and linens for you. You just need to put up your centerpieces. The food was delicious and the bar was great. You can have an open bar, order kegs, and even order kegs from the Brewery to be used at the Lafayette. It was kind of difficult getting ahold of the person in charge of the hotel blocks, but once we got that straightened out everything was smooth sailing. Christina will keep you calm on your wedding day and make sure everything is taken care of for you!

I have delivered many wedding cakes to the Lafayette Hotel, and I must say - it is a very stunning venue which is easily accessible. Each time the ballroom is decorated to the hilt and the staff are welcoming. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding reception.
