Owner Sandy Summers Russell has more than fifteen years of professional photography experience and is a nationally recognized and published, award-winning photojournalist. Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I've shot in every condition; from high noon to pitch black I've done it. Regardless, I love to make lighting an integral part an the image.
 
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital
 
How many photographers do you work with?
I shoot every wedding. Additional photographers are available upon request.
 
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Definitely.
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I only shoot one wedding a weekend. I think it's critical to give my couples my undivided attention and energy.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I use only the top of the line professional Nikon equipment and lenses. I also bring portable studio lights for portraits and the reception if it's needed.
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. I'm like a boyscout, and I'm always prepared. I use two camera bodies during the day along with a third I keep as backup. I also have backups for my lenses and strobes.
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
All my packages include at least 8 hours of documentary coverage. Additional hours are also available for purchase.
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I am available for overtime at $250/hr.
 
Do you charge for travel?
Yes, if the wedding is more than two hours away.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Early previews go up on my blog a few days after the wedding. Your online proofing gallery of all you images is ready four weeks after your wedding.
 
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Your proofing gallery is open for 60 days.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, as creator of the image I always retain copyright.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes they can are included in some packages, and they can also be purchased as an Ala cart item. A personal print release will be included.
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
All of my albums are custom designed, hard-cover, hand-stitched, flush-mount albums. I want your album to be an heirloom your family will cherish for generations, so I only use the finest companies in the industry.
 
When will the client get the final album?
Your album is available three to six months after you've approved the final page layout.
