About Us
Your wedding should be your special day— and no other venue in the area appreciates that quite like Rivermill. We'll help you design the wedding that you've always dreamed of by working with our preferred partners to bring you your own seating plan, your own colors and décor, your own music and entertainment. If you're looking for a unique place to entertain your guests your way, look no further than Rivermill. What makes us different is if you have your own ideas and contacts (even your own caterer), we are happy to work with them to make your wedding day a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Flexibility is the hallmark of Rivermill's business model. With lofty ceilings, 1800s brick-and-beam architecture and tall, arched windows offering views of the Cochecho River, Henry Law Park and Dover's historic City Hall clock tower, Rivermill is distinctive enough to stand on its own, or it can serve as a blank canvas on which to paint your entertainment masterpiece. So whether you're looking for a traditional reception, a classic New England lobster bake, a black tie formal or a distinctive themed event of your own creation, Rivermill provides the ideal setting to make your dream a reality.

I LOVE working at Rivermill at Dover Landing. It's one of the most unique spaces to have an event north of Boston. The venue is wide open, with original brick walls, windows and floors so it's perfect for anything modern or even rustic. The staff is fabulous to work with and the price point is super reasonable. Tables, chairs, linens, napkins, valet, 5 hours of services all included. A loft space on the historic Cocheco River? How can you beat that?!
