Rich Lavigne Photography is comprised of Rich and Anne, a husband and wife team based in central New Jersey.  They specialize in photojournalistic wedding photography, blending into the event and allowing moments to happen naturally without the stress of posing or saying "cheese."  Rich Lavigne Photography's "on-the-fly" style of shooting ensures that every special moment will be captured and remembered for a lifetime.

Rich got his start in automotive and extreme sports photography as a founding member of TheSpeedLounge.com. He quickly garnered national attention, landing a job as the series photographer for the NHRA Sport Compact Drag Racing series. His work has been featured in Performance Auto & Sound Magazine, Modified Magazine, Import Tuner, and National Dragster. Additionally, his photography has been featured in advertising campaigns for K&N Filters, Quaife Differentials, NOS Energy Drink, Red Bull Energy Drink and Eat Sleep Race Clothing.
 
Anne began her photography career as a candid children's portrait photographer, capturing kids in their natural element.  Word of her talent and expertise spread quickly, and she soon moved into the world of unique family portraiture and engagement photography sessions.  

In 2007, Anne and Rich’s photography careers crossed paths when one of the racecar drivers that frequented Rich's events proposed to one of Anne's family portrait clients; fortuitously, they asked Anne and Rich to shoot their wedding.

At first glance it would seem that Anne and Rich’s different areas of photographic experience wouldn’t cross over into the world of wedding photography, but in reality their respective fields of expertise couldn't have prepared them any better.  Rich's extensive experience as an automotive motor sports photographer gives him the ability to make split second photographic adjustments to ensure the moment is perfectly captured.  He has the ability to anticipate action while providing creative and unique perspectives on your special day.  Anne's experience as a candid children's portrait photographer has taught her that the best photos develop when the subject is unaware they are being photographed.  Anne's technique ensures that natural moments are preserved without the need for the forced poses of a more traditional wedding photographer.  Her creative eye lends a unique female perspective to life’s most important moments.
