Our new 7,500 square foot location in Bedford has allowed us to become New Hampshire’s premier Bridal Salon.  Brides travel from all over New England to experience a relaxing, spacious, upscale environment while choosing from the region’s largest selection of designer gowns.

Since 1946 Modern Bride and Formal Shop has been a full service, family-owned and operated Bridal Salon offering a range of pricing that meets every bride’s budget.  Our philosophy is that brides should be able to find designer bridal gowns without designer prices. 

Modern Bride is the Authorized Retailer for over 20 different Designers.  We are proud to be the only Bridal Salon in the region to carry the Award Winning designs by  Maggie Sottero,  Maggie Limited,  Maggie Sottero Destinations,  Sottero and Midgley,  Renee Couture,  and Demetrios.

We believe that a Bridal Salon should be more than just about the selections.  We pride ourselves on attention to detail and personalized service.  Our staff is highly trained in product knowledge, fashion and customer service to ensure that you will be part of an extraordinary experience.

Modern Bride is also the only Bridal Salon which has it’s own on-site Professional Seamstresses ensuring a perfect fit of your gorgeuos gown.  There is no need to worry about where to get your gown altered.  We want you to not only be happy with the gown you choose but to alos feel and look like the dress was meant for you!

Every bridal gown and bridesmaid dress re-order includes a FREE alteration package.  Every dress is labeled indicating what is included in our already low prices.  This means you save hundreds in alteration fees and look stunning doing it!

As a Full Service Bridal Shop our services include:
