From our initial meeting to the wedding, Matt has been a joy to work with. We feel SO lucky that he wasn't booked yet when we first reached out to him. He's a professional, an expert in his craft, and his energy and lighthearted style made photos so fun for us, our wedding parties, parents, family and friends. Words can't truly capture how grateful we are for Matt Andrews and his incredible team! They were a dream come true at our April 13th wedding, capturing over 2,000 flawless photos in just a week – and each one exceeded our wildest expectations. Matt's assistant and his daughter (our talented videographer) added so much positivity and talent, making our big day even more special. They didn't just take photos; they captured the love, joy, and magic of our day in a way that left us speechless. The value was unmatched; Matt could have charged double, and it still would have been worth every penny. I'm very particular about photos. I wanted a photographer who was an expert with light and edited in a timeless, not overly trendy way. I've had so many friends get back over-filtered pictures from their weddings from photographers who refused to re-edit or provide originals. I thought Matt's portfolio was incredible and every picture he delivered to me looks that good. He brought an excelled 2nd shooter who complimented him well. They had very different eyes and it was great to get both perspectives. He was also a ton of fun. I'm very introverted and was nervous about all day pictures ruining my experience. He was great at directing and making us feel comfortable but not invasive of our experience. He gave us opportunity to follow a cool idea or say no. He also got in a creek with me (my idea) so I have to give him kudos for risking his shoes and equipment. He had so many al a carte options at great prices (or free). We used his photobooth and props and I think our guests really enjoyed that. His edit times were so fast and the deliverable was super organized, making it less overwhelming. He was also incredibly helpful with the day-of schedule. I didn't have a planner and he probably doesn't know just how much his input on the timeline helped me. Not to mention, it worked out very well in the end. I have no suggestions for improvement. He was exactly what I hoped for and so were the pictures.

Matt was wonderful to work with! He was super flexible and was able to make the entire wedding party and guests feel comfortable and at ease. He pricing was affordable and worth every penny!

Finding out that Matt was available for our wedding date was like finding gold. I had seen his work at my friend's wedding and knew I wanted him for my own wedding. What sets Matt apart from other photographers is his zeal and passion for what he does. He treated me, my wedding party, and all of my guests like we were his own family. He was so nice and personable. I was impressed at his ability to be in 1000 places at once, capturing all the best moments. He's very professional, skilled, and seasoned. He knows how to capture the most flattering angles, find the most beautiful back drops, and has a way of putting a smile on even the fussiest child. He will take care of everything so that you can relax and just enjoy your day. He's also very attentive to any specific requests and will know everyone's name by the end of the day.

Matt and Sophia worked together flawlessly as a father/daughter team during our special day. The photos and video are both breathtaking! I am so thankful to have these for years to come. I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond for us on our special day.

Matt and his team are absolutely amazing!! Where to begin? This review has been a long time coming! We first met Matt for lunch where he brought some albums and we were impressed with the beauty of his photos and also his warm, fun and kind demeanor! We had the absolute best time going around Nashville for our engagement photos and were in LOVE with the photos. He knew so many different spots we never would have thought about, and there were so many wonderful shots. Finally, after multiple date changes because of covid, Matt was finally able to photograph our wedding day a few weeks ago. All of my bridesmaids and family were impressed with him - he's just so nice but also professional! He got in so many photos and was mindful of the schedule but also mindful of how we were feeling and when we needed a break. Only a few days later he sent us several hundred photos as a "teaser" - and we couldn't be happier with the photos. They are stunning and we are so, so grateful. From the first look shots to all the fun party ones to the beautiful venue detail shots, they are all perfect and capture so well this amazing day for us. We can't wait to see the many, many more on their way! Thank you again Matt!

Hiring Matt was the best decision we made for our wedding. He is unbelievably accommodating to your schedule, and very informed on weather lighting, photo locations, and does his homework. He is responsive to questions, flexible, and delivers a fantastic photos. Additionally, his calm and collected demeanor is a major blessing amidst the craziness of the wedding day! He is great at staying out of the way, while still capturing amazing shots - I don't remember seeing him at all during the ceremony or reception, yet we have perfect pictures or all of it.

On the flip side, Matt is extremely capable of taking charge of a big, rowdy group to get the pictures he needs. He was able to get our big families in order for family pictures in the church in record time, and also wrangle us all together to capture amazing shots of the bridal party. He keeps things light, and isn't afraid to run, jump, or trudge through tall, wild grass to get a good shot. Multiple times, I saw him sprinting to catch the perfect lighting or a great moment - that is going above and beyond!

I cannot express how thankful I am to Matt and how pleased we are with his work. I hired him because I had heard great things, and I didn't want to have to worry about photos on our wedding day - and he far exceeded my already high expectations.

Matt Andrews is undeniably the best!! The shots he got from our wedding were breathtaking. And so many wonderful candid photos that allow us to remember the story of that day. AND not only are his photos amazing, he himself is an incredible human & was such a joy to have with us all day on our wedding day!!

The first best decision I made related to my wedding was marrying my husband. The second best decision I made was hiring Matt Andrews to be our photographer. He has the eye and creativity for the most romantic shots and the skill to execute and edit. Matt's temperament made us feel relaxed throughout the day, even during what would have otherwise been stressful moments.

A few weeks before the wedding I had a mouth procedure, and the day of the wedding I was still suffering some unfortunate side effects. I emailed Matt at midnight the day after our wedding to ask if anything could be done about it during the editing process. Matt stayed up all night working on 100 teaser photos that he sent me at 4:50 am to put my fears at ease before I left for my honeymoon that day and show me that I had nothing to be concerned about. Clearly, not only is Matt an amazing photographer, he's an amazing person, and he's the perfect person to trust with the memory of your wedding day.
