Do you charge for trials?
Yes. A trial with MMC Makeup Artists includes an in depth consultation and a full application complete with airbrushed* makeup and custom individual lashes.
 
Do you provide any specialty services? (airbrushing, hair extensions, etc.)
Maris' applications are exclusively airbrushed. All MMC Makeup Artists applications include custom individual lashes.
 
Do you travel to the client on the day of the event? If yes, is there a fee?
Yes. All wedding day services are provided on site in a place that is most convenient for you. Maris is happy to provide complimentary travel in the greater Austin area for any full booking.
 
How many customers can you serve at one time if the bride were to book her entire bridal party? Are there discounts for doing so?
MMC Makeup Artists can accommodate as many people as you have in your party. Each MMC Makeup Artists is available for bookings up to eight members and if you have a larger bridal party, another MMC Makeup Artist will be booked to expedite applications.
 
How far in advance should clients book your services?
It is recommended that you contact MMC Makeup Artists as soon as you have made the decision to book. Once her availability has been confirmed, a consultation can be arranged in order to book your date.

1. A professional makeup artist is trained to see and bring out the beauty in everyone from every ethnic background. Although all MMC Makeup Artists attended a school, they have applied makeup to numerous of faces over the years and that experience has taught them more than school ever could.

2. The products that MMC Makeup Artists use are formulated to last. Many of them are used on HD film and television sets so you know if they are good enough for movie stars they are good enough for you! They use silicone based foundation as well as waterproof eye liner and mascara.

3. After months of planning your wedding, the last thing you want to do is run around from place to place in order to get ready. MMC Makeup Artists provide on site services in a place that is most convenient for you; a place where you can relax and enjoy your extraordinary day with your family and friends around you.

Do you offer consultations?
Yes. In-depth consultations with MMC Makeup Artists are always complimentary.

I’m looking for someone who provides hair services as well as makeup. Can you do that?
MMC Makeup Artists feel strongly that hair and makeup should be kept separate. Here are her reasons why:

1. MMC Makeup Artists received extensive training for makeup artistry, not hair styling, and when it comes to weddings, providing only one service is best. This way, each MMC Makeup Artists is able to give 100% of their energy to makeup applications.

2. The time frame for makeup and hair can be cut in half if one person is providing makeup services and one person providing services hair for you and your bridal party.

What kind of products do you use?
MMC Makeup Artists use a variety of products including MAC, NARS and Smashbox as well as some you might not recognize that are formulated for HD film and TV.

I’ve heard wonderful things about airbrushed makeup. Do you use an airbrush?
All of Maris’ applications are airbrushed resulting in a smooth, lasting finish. At this time, only Maris provides airbrushed applications.

Are false lashes included in your applications?
Yes. MMC Makeup Artists use individual lashes, not strip lashes, resulting in a beautiful, natural look.
