I offer digital retouching, airbrushing, black and white toning, sepia toning, and vintage effects.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I am experienced in all types of lighting situations. My style combines both natural light and flash photography.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot digital, but can shoot film if you prefer.
How many photographers do you work with?
I usually work with one assistant. Some of my packages include a second shooter.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Absolutely!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I have several replacement photographers to turn to in case of an emergency (hospitalization, death in the family).
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring my Nikon D300 with several lenses: a wide angle zoom, a fixed focal length low light lens, and a telephoto zoom. I also use the top of the line Nikon on-camera flash, the SB800. Occasionally I will use strobes, but only in very low-light situations, and only for portraits. I have back up equipment in case of any unexpected technical failures.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have package pricing that includes shooting time, engagement sessions, albums, prints, and other extras.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes. Please contact me for destination pricing.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are usually ready within 4 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
You will be provided with a free online gallery from which you can order prints and enlargements.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, but limited copyright is shared so you can print for personal use.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I provide these items at extra cost.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer two different albums in various sizes: a press print bound book (hardcover) and a flush mount art album. Cover options are endless.
When will the client get the final album?
Within 12 weeks of ordering the album.
