Wow! What a creative and adaptable photographer! She could read the individual she was taking photos of. She adapted to each person's needs. Some in our bridal party hated getting their photos taken, so she provided encouragement and minimized their photo session time. While others provided her direction which she accepted with grace. Other members of the bridal party wanted spontaneous photo shots which she did. Her photos were creative and beautiful. She was energetic and brought the energy into her photos. Excellent customer service!

Kate took the most breathtaking photos of our elopement! Not only was she an absolute dream to work with, her fees were beyond reasonable and she was up for anything. Can't wait until it's time to do a maternity shoot!

Kate photographed my wedding, and did a stellar job.

I am typically uncomfortable with getting photographed, and didn't know what to expect of the process of wedding photography. Would I be making weird faces when Kate was taking solo pics of me, etc?

Wow. Kate brought a sense of ease to the entire wedding party and guests. Kate scouts out the surroundings, and is very open minded to testing out different areas to see where she can get good shots--there were about six locations she used for photos of the wedding party before the ceremony, and it was great to have a range of options when we received the proofs.

Kate was also careful to try to get photos of a variety of guests, and it was so fun to share the photos with extended family and friends and have most people be able to find themselves featured in some great shots--even those not immediately in the wedding party.

Kate's work is all about personality--there will be nothing generic about the photos she takes for you--she will have her eye out for everyone's distinct body language, poses, silly faces, unbridled joy, etc.

Overall, I think Kate is the best photographer we could have possibly had for our event. She delivered gorgeous photos above and beyond our expectations, and created a sense of absolute comfort and ease on the day of the wedding. She had it under control from the moment she arrived, and it was a great relief to leave the photography in such trusted and confident hands.

Kate Drew Miller is the absolute BEST!!!! From the minute my husband and I started talking about vendors we both knew that we really wanted Kate to be our photographer. We are really familiar with her work and love her style, what she does with color and she has the BEST attitude. She offered to come down to NJ (from VT!) for engagement photos and even the snowy winter didn't prevent her! She captured my husband and I (and our dog) in our neighborhood and gave us such beautiful photos. The day of the wedding she was AMAZING! From great getting ready shots, to our first look, to wedding party and family photos, to ceremony shots to the best candid dance pictures ever! Every person who interacted with Kate absolutely loved her which I'm sure accounts for all the wonderful smiles she captured! I look at our photo gallery every single day. My husband and I were thrilled that she offered a package where we "own" the photos so our guests don't have to pay if they want to download any. She also took a TON of video and we are so excited to have moments like our ceremony and my father's toast to watch and relive.
