  WOW! Outstanding photography!

  Wow! What a creative and adaptable photographer! She could read the individual she was taking photos of. She adapted to each person's needs. Some in our bridal party hated getting their photos taken, so she provided encouragement and minimized their photo session time. While others provided her direction which she accepted with grace. Other members of the bridal party wanted spontaneous photo shots which she did. Her photos were creative and beautiful. She was energetic and brought the energy into her photos. Excellent customer service!

  Kate has a laid back style and a wonderful personality - she remains upbeat and captures amazing photos despite the situation (uncooperative babies, for example!) and has a gift for turning candid shots into beautiful timeless memories. Cannot recommend her enough!

  Kate is the perfect photographer. Professional, creative, and has an amazing balance of getting the job done but not being pushy at all. you will not have a camera being shoved in your face the whole time, but will get every photo you ever imagined and more!

  Beyond professional and extremely personable, Kate was able to get amazing pictures of my wedding day without even being noticed. She is amazing! By the end of the day you feel as if you have known her for years, not only is Kate a blast to have at your wedding, her work is phenomenal!! Having these amazing pictures will constantly remind me of how perfect our day really was!

  Kate was beyond amazing the day of and months before! Her professional and calming personality made our wedding day even more amazing and have the best photos of ourselves!! We have all been to weddings with photographers wearing stereotypical uniforms and huge lenses in your guests face... This will not happen with Kate! I did not see her once during the ceremony she did not distract from the moment yet still got the most amazing shots! If you want professional, amazing quality pick Kate!

  Kate Drew Miller is the absolute BEST!!!! From the minute my husband and I started talking about vendors we both knew that we really wanted Kate to be our photographer. We are really familiar with her work and love her style, what she does with color and she has the BEST attitude. She offered to come down to NJ (from VT!) for engagement photos and even the snowy winter didn't prevent her! She captured my husband and I (and our dog) in our neighborhood and gave us such beautiful photos. The day of the wedding she was AMAZING! From great getting ready shots, to our first look, to wedding party and family photos, to ceremony shots to the best candid dance pictures ever! Every person who interacted with Kate absolutely loved her which I'm sure accounts for all the wonderful smiles she captured! I look at our photo gallery every single day. My husband and I were thrilled that she offered a package where we "own" the photos so our guests don't have to pay if they want to download any. She also took a TON of video and we are so excited to have moments like our ceremony and my father's toast to watch and relive. I can't tell you how many amazing compliments I've gotten not only on her photos, but on how wonderful she is to interact with. I honestly can't recommend Kate Miller enough! She made took moments of an amazing day and made them into something beautiful that we will have forever :)

  Kate took the most breathtaking photos of our elopement! Not only was she an absolute dream to work with, her fees were beyond reasonable and she was up for anything. Can't wait until it's time to do a maternity shoot!

  Kate is the absolute best photographer I've ever met! Her attention to detail is fantastic and her creativity with props was so much fun to participate in. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone for all photography needs!!

  Kate photographed my wedding, and did a stellar job.
  
  I am typically uncomfortable with getting photographed, and didn't know what to expect of the process of wedding photography. Would I be making weird faces when Kate was taking solo pics of me, etc?
  
  Wow. Kate brought a sense of ease to the entire wedding party and guests. Kate scouts out the surroundings, and is very open minded to testing out different areas to see where she can get good shots--there were about six locations she used for photos of the wedding party before the ceremony, and it was great to have a range of options when we received the proofs.
  
  Kate was also careful to try to get photos of a variety of guests, and it was so fun to share the photos with extended family and friends and have most people be able to find themselves featured in some great shots--even those not immediately in the wedding party.
  
  Kate's work is all about personality--there will be nothing generic about the photos she takes for you--she will have her eye out for everyone's distinct body language, poses, silly faces, unbridled joy, etc.
  
  Overall, I think Kate is the best photographer we could have possibly had for our event. She delivered gorgeous photos above and beyond our expectations, and created a sense of absolute comfort and ease on the day of the wedding. She had it under control from the moment she arrived, and it was a great relief to leave the photography in such trusted and confident hands.

Believe me, this makes a huge difference. My pictures are natural and interesting, and enormously fun to look at. Nothing looks forced or staged. Furthermore, Kate is a consummate professional. She is prepared, thorough, and tremendously communicative. She really listens to her clients and goes out of her way to make them feel special.   Kate Drew Miller is nothing short of exceptional!! We booked her for our wedding on May 29, 2010 and couldn't be happier. We knew from our first meeting with us, which in and of itself was impressive since she met us in NJ while living in CT, that she was the kind of professional that we wanted to work with. She is warm, fun, energetic and still laid back- exactly our style. I had picked her as an option as our photographer based on her website and her photographic style- fresh, fun, clean and just what we were looking for. She brought her portfolio with her to our meeting and I knew this was the person we wanted to take our photos!! Kate and I communicated multiple times and she was very thorough in her prep of what shots we wanted and our priorities. I also trusted her as an artist to do what she does best and gave her some artistic freedom on what would work the day of. The day of, she arrived early, scouted the wedding site (my husband's parents' house) and was full of excitement for shots she already couldn't wait to take. She was professional and personal throughout the whole day- giving direction and encouragement on all the shots. She was fast and knew what she wanted- which only helped the process go by faster and let us have ALL the shots (including a trip to the beach) that we wanted. She stayed throughout the reception and rarely took a break from all the action. We have not received our pictures yet, but I will update this review upon seeing them- although I must say, I have 100% confidence in her talents and am so excited to see what she created! :) Kate is a pleasure- the kind of professional you want around you on such an important day.
