Located in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood, Jill Andrews Gowns specializes in custom bridal and evening gowns. From fully custom gowns to antique restorations, each dress tells your unique story. We always highlight your individual style, couture fit, and personal service. We also carry veils, jewelry, tiaras, gloves, everything but the shoes to make your bridal look complete!

At your initial appointment with Jill, you'll have an in-depth conversation where you discuss your inspirations, wants and needs, and the vibe of your event. During the conversation, Jill draws your design. Fabric, silhouette, color, and details are all customizable. swatches, motifs, photos, magazines -- anything that inspires your vision for your gown. Jill will be inspired with you as her muse, creating a dress just for you.
-=Restorations=-
Creating new gowns is always fun, but something old can make a great “new” after a thorough renovation. If you have a family heirloom gown or veil that you would love to wear, we would love to work with you! Heirloom services range from repairs and textile stabilization to complete gown redesign and re-making.
-=Alterations=-
In addition to Jill's original creations, the JAG staff does in-house alterations for wedding and event gowns they make as well as gowns purchased elsewhere. We go beyond a dart or a hem: we can re-engineer a gown or re-style it for a new year.

Prices vary from client to client, and are based on the scope of the project, hours of labor, fabrics, trim, etc.

From the second I first stepped into her shop, I was treated to a highly personal experience that was more like having a dear girlfriend do a makeover than anything I’d dreamt a gown alteration would be like. Jill listened to what our event would be like, looked at photos, and had her own ideas for how to make my dress the right scale in addition to the right fit. Never has the phrase “decreasing radiuses” caused me so many giggles. Everything she suggested, I trusted, and she was SPOT. ON.
My dress had delicate beadwork and lace throughout, and she had to hand re-stitch and relay every last place she adjusted. When all was done, you never would have known she practically took it apart.
Jill went the extra mile at every step, and made me feel confident and ready to wear my dress, rather than ever worrying that it would wear me!
Months after my wedding, I still enjoy checking in with her. If you are looking for a true artist who will make you laugh and give you celeb-worthy results, look no further!
