Granite Springs Lodge is a wedding venue situated in the countryside of Alexandria, South Dakota. Surrounded by natural springs and everlasting woodland, this property enables couples to wed in complete tranquility. A 15-minute drive from the township of Mitchell, this accessible site allows couples to celebrate away from the bustle of everyday life without traveling far.

Facilities and Capacity

Granite Springs Lodge offers a range of indoor and outdoor event spaces that can be used throughout couples’ one-of-a-kind celebrations. Summertime ceremonies can take place in several locations including on the shores of the spring-fed lake. Couples can exchange vows as the sun beautifully bounces off the pristine lake which is filled with a variety of fish. This spot also makes for wonderful photo opportunities that will be treasured for years to come. Additional outdoor areas include the site’s well-maintained lawns. A stone’s throw from the main facility, this area is great for ceremonies and cocktail hours. Here, couples and their guests can sip on beverages and watch as the sunsets over the horizon. Unforgettable banquets and receptions can take place in the Main Lodge. Complete with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the lake, this 8,000 square-foot space has ample room for seated guests, a dance floor, and live entertainment.

Accommodations

This venue provides several lodging options for newlyweds and their guests to use. Inside the Main Lodge, there is an upper suite consisting of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a full-service kitchen. Additionally, the lower level of the lodge features six bedrooms with their own private bathrooms, shared living quarters, a bar, and a fireplace. Other accommodations include the Cottage, seven individual cabins, and a 5 room villa. The Cottage can sleep up to 20 guests and includes a large outdoor decking area complete with comfy furnishings and a grill. Each of the seven cabins includes two full-sized beds, a bathroom, and a kitchenette.
