I will use any and all recycled materials, found objects, glass materials, feathers if requested, rocks, stones, etc. Prefer not to use any plastic materials. Will recycle ribbons and fabrics.

Wedding day set up included in flower budgets over $2,500. Additional fee for half and full day support, wedding planning support and day of event coordination.

Organic, locally grown, fair trade and Veriflora certified flowers and greens. All flower arrangements are recycled for use in elder care facilities, hospitals and local non profits. All unwanted greens and flowers are composted. Glass is recycled or reused.

What green practices does your company incorporate into its business? (Examples: recycling, composting, CFL lights, Energy Star appliances, carbon offsetting, recycled paper packaging, reclaimed or repurposed materials, biodegradable cleaners, or 100% PCW paper products)
we: recycle, compost, don't use plastic containers and only biodegradable: glass, metal, wood, etc. We use biodegradable cleaners, recycled paper, used and vintage goods, we recycle flower arrangements, plan to reuse materials, rent reusable materials, and are looking into carbon offsets. We use city car share, electric scooters and recycled biodiesel for travel. I won't touch floral foam.

The basis for the business is Eco- friendly, sustainable, organic and local events and living. I share my practices on my blog: gorgeousandgreen.wordpress.com. I have even begun growing my own flowers and greens in urban gardens. My latest attempt at supporting local business and acting sustainably is some sheperds hooks I'm having made from a local welder. I'm pretty excited about that.
