About
Built in 1929 and formerly a church, The German American Society is a Gothic-style mini-cathedral with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and multiple sets of stained glass windows. It is located in the heart of mid-town Tulsa at 15th Street and Terrace Drive, essentially 15th and Lewis. It features a grand hall with wood floors, a restored foyer and tables and chairs for up to 250 people. (300 without a dance floor) A catering kitchen with loading area and private parking lot with security are also included.

GAST recognizes that today’s bride and groom desire an ideal balance of assistance and choice, so we now offer optional facility planning that gives you the variety you crave with the ease that your busy life now demands. No exclusives here--you have the freedom to pick from Tulsa’s best caterers, DJs, bakers and bartending services from our list of partner vendors. The German American Society is the place to have your fairytale wedding! My husband and I were married there May 10, 2008 and it was AMAZING! The atmosphere is one of elegance and it gives that castle feel that every bride wants to experience on her wedding day. The staff will help guide and direct you for all your wedding needs.

Tips and Advice
It takes 100 hours to plan the average event. Between phone calls, drive times and meetings it adds up quickly. If you have the time and desire to take everything on yourself then that's great. However, don't feel like you have to. You aren't less of a bride if you don't hand-craft all your centerpieces or personally dictate every second of the schedule. You won't be any less married if you get help from qualified vendors, so consider using one of our packages to save both your sanity and your wallet. Yes, that's right--our packages are surprisingly affordable even with the perks! Call 918-744-6997 or visit http://rentals.gastulsa.org to see the savings work for you.
