No. We simply ask for a title and track it down ourselves
How many other DJs do you work with?
We work with a staff of 25 Wedding Disc Jockeys. These are employees of Denon & Doyle and NOT sub-contracted
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
There is no minimum
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, brides are encouraged to attend our showcase at our warehouse where they are able to sit and talk with our DJ's before booking
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Over the past 24 years we have experience with all types of ethnicities and special circumstances
Do you bring your own equipment?
Absolutely
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes, Denon & Doyle while having a vast experience with weddings is also very involved in the Corporate and Social Business. These types of events often call for special lighting, trussing, and A/V needs.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We do not require a table, all of our equipment is self-contained. Our set-up takes approximately 30 min
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No we do not
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We do Emcee the event to allow for a smooth flow of the evening
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Absolutely not
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
We do not take breaks
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes. Denon & Doyle always has one Disc Jockey on call "floating" with all necessary equipment in San Francisco, and has a second on call at our warehouse in the East Bay
What is your overtime rate?
$150 for extra hours on the night of the event
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
In most cases no, we service the "Greater" Bay Area
