About
Cookie Creatives by Jennifer is a New England based company specializing in custom designed sugar cookie favors. Our cookies are made using premium ingredients and are baked fresh to order. We are happy to consult with our clients to help find the perfect design for any event.

There are many creative uses for our cookie favors. They have been used as unique favors for weddings and showers, a tasty and stylish treat in out of town guest bags, served on platters alongside other desserts, as centerpiece arrangements, and as guest name cards. They have also been used to help businesses promote their brand and reach potential customers. The possibilities are endless!

Hi, my name is Jennifer Burkhart and I have been designing cookies and cakes for over 5 years as a hobby. I started Cookie Creatives in 2007 after many, many hours of practicing decorating and perfecting recipes.  My first big test before going into business was to make over 100 cookie favors for my own wedding.  My husband told me that if I still enjoyed decorating cookies while under all the stress of a bride with a week until her wedding then I must really love it. 2 years and many wedding favors later I still love what I do!  The best part of my job is working with people to design cookies that enhance their vision for the perfect event.

What is your average turnaround time, from initial contact to shipment?
We generally need a minimum of three weeks to prepare an order from start to finish. However, as with any custom product, the more time from start to finish the better. We only book 1-2 large orders per week so more advance notice will help assure availability and provide more time for us to find the perfect design for your event.

Are you able to meet clients in person to showcase your product?
Yes, we are able to meet with clients for consultations at our design studio. Please call (413) 237-5513 to set up an appointment.

Additional Questions and Answers
What cookie flavors do you offer?
Our specialty is vanilla sugar cookies; however, we also offer other flavors upon request.

Are all orders custom designed, or do you stock some of your cookies?
We do not stock any of our designs. All orders are custom designed through consultation with our clients and baked fresh to order.

How are cookies priced?
The price of a cookie depends not only on the size of the cookie but also on the amount of hand decorated details. Prices typically range from $4 to $15 per favor.

How are the cookies packaged?
We prefer to package our cookies in sealed cellophane bags finished with ribbon, but we are happy to discuss other packaging options with our clients.

What is the minimum number of cookies that I can order?
The smallest order that we will accept is 24 cookies of the same design.

How are orders shipped?
For small orders we typically ship using USPS Priority Mail or UPS (which ever is more economical). For large orders in our area we might be able to personally deliver the cookies to you.

Do you offer samples?
For large orders we typically provide samples to finalize the colors and designs.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept only cash or checks. We require payment in full two weeks prior to shipping/delivering the order.

Tips and Advice
Favors don't have to just be traditional and boring.  I think that it is important when planning a wedding to think a bit outside the box.  There are so many ways that you can use cookies as part of your special day.  Some fun options are to use them as place cards, incorporate them into the centerpiece/table design, make a spectacular focal point in your reception showcasing the favors, ie. branches made to look like trees covered in leaf cookies for guests to take home, use them as edible save-the-date cards, place them in out-of-town guest bags, or serve guests platters at dessert and provide containers so that they can take some home.  The possibilities are almost endless and with a little creativity you can create something that your guests will be remembering for years to come.
