Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer many editing choices... Always a choice of black & white, Sepia, & also specialty priting papers. I also always add in some creative shots that you may not think of ahead of time.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have expeirence with all lighting situations, & will do test shots at venues before weddings when possible.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot strictly in digital, that gives me alot of options for great pictures.
How many photographers do you work with?
I always promise 200+ choices of images.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes! I may work with a second shooter if it is needed, But I will always be the primary Photographer
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never, I want to give as much time as needed to caputer your special day, After all it's once in a lifetime.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have a capable second shooter, But if I were to have an Emergency I would recomend a suitable Photographer that I know would give a client wonderful memories.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I shoot with a 10 mp Olympus E 510, E 520 I carry 4 lenses,effect filters, my flashes, and a tripod.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I carry a back up camera & I also shoot with a second shooter who shoots with a back up camera... I also carry an extra flash & many extra batteries.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have made a range of packages to suit every budget, any can be customized.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
If a client needs me to stay over the contracted amount of time agreed apon, I will stay at a slighty higher rate. I would always be available because I only schedule one event per day.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
1 meal break.
Do you charge for travel?
If there is an extended travel of more than 30 minutes, I do charge travel time & mileage.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I would say 2 weeks, depending on the size of the event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Online proofing & a paper proof book.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
It is paid for by the client,so it is the client's to keep, after the ordering process.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I offer a signed print release with a purchase of a CD-rom.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes I have it contracted that I may use any photos for my marketing purposes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I offer a CD-rom including all images.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, It will be available for viewing as soon as the editing process is complete.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer a range of custom designed albums,and more affordable coffee table books which are included in some of my print packages or can be ordered as an add on
When will the client get the final album?
Specialty products can take up to a month to be processed.
