Add to your "to do" list...Welcome gift baskets in the rooms of  your out of town guests.  After all, these guests are incurring added expenses to share in this special day.  Gift  baskets are sure to put smiles on their faces showing  them that you have thought of everything, paying attention to every detail.  Since the majority of guests are from out of town, maybe a basket that includes a little of Virginia's history and  products would be even more welcoming.   If your guests arrive early, they may want to take in some of the sites.  Including an itinery in their baskets is just another small detail that would make them feel more at home.  Some of the local hotels may have a wine tour package that they could take advantage of.  Perhaps the hotel offers free shuttle service to the outlets or mall.  And of course  include any information they'd need to know about the wedding, ex: invite to the reherasal dinner or brunch the morning after.  These little details mean alot when you're away from home.
