The bouquets and arrangements that come from Gina and Rhonda are absolutely amazing. They put together some of the most fabulous designs with materials I would have never thought to use in arrangements - BUT it looks like they should have been there all along. Yes - they do traditional style too, but why settle for traditional when you can have such an amazing design created especially for YOU?!?

Additional Questions and Answers

Bohemian Bouquets has a Green Bridal Guide rating of 4 leaves!

We offer organic, locally grown flowers within 100 miles or less of our shop.  We use biodegradable, compostable products.  We compost any green material that does not make it into an arrangement. We save any petals that we were unable to use in an arrangement and dry to make handmade papers. We have an organic flower
garden that provides at least half of our flowers during the summer, and purchase the rest from local flower farms within 15 miles of our shop. If we need to satisfy a client and order something in, we will order from the Portland Flower Market. We scavenge for accents such as berries, filberts, fancy grasses, fern, etc. We use recyclable boxes for corsage and boutonniere delivery and fill the bottom of the box with found, natural filler such as lichen. We also offer our couples an incentive for returning those boxes when they are finished. We tag all of the pieces (very fancy), using recycled paper. Over 95% of our shop is composed of repurposed materials. Instead of buying vases to hold our flowers during prep and hydration, we reuse glass jars. That is just one example of the way we reuse everything that we can.

We are eco friendly because we care! Why would we fly roses from South America when we can buy local, fresh, fragrant, and beautiful roses from a farm less than 20 miles from our shop? We have called ourselves 'professional recyclers,' even before going into business together. It is just natural that we operate our business in line with our personal philosophy. Reduce, reduce, reduce, then reuse it until you can't anymore, then go ahead and recycle it

Tips and Advice
First, decide what is important to you.  Are you more interested in price points, or do you have your heart set on a particular flower?  Make sure your number one priority is communicated clearly up front.

Bring pictures!  Do your homework before meeting with your floral designer.  Skim magazines and/ or the internet for bouquets/ flowers/ colors that catch your eye.  Photos of anything that inspire you can be tremendously helpful when designing for you.   If you have already selected your wedding gown, bring a picture of it as well.

Have an idea of how many pieces you will need.  For example, 2 father's boutonnieres, 2 mother's corsages, etc.

Tell us what makes you special!  We all have something.  What is your passion?  Can we integrate anything special about you in your flowers?  Do you have a special item that you would like us to include somehow in your bouquet?
