Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Yes, with every package I will work on the main portraits. Black and white, sepia, and spot coloring are included.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Yes, I make use of the best cameras, lenses, and lighting to accomodate any lighting situation.
Is your media preference film or digital?
I prefer digital simply because its faster. All through college I had to use film and film developing processes so from this, I am able to shoot correctly the first time and allow digital to "tweek". I always have two digital bodies and a film body in my camera bag.
How many photographers do you work with?
I have a partner and local photographers that I work with to share stories, idea's and such with- Sherri Barber- and we will shoot together when possible. I also work with Ashley Esterle and others. :)
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. You will receive myself and a second shooter.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No more than one wedding per day- and rarely more than one on a weekend. I still like to know my own name and my brides! :)
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I am a member of several networks and professional organizations that provide a means for obtaining replacements in an emergency situation. (see photographers I work with above)
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Camera's, flash units, lenses, water!
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
yes (please see media preference)
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Both. Every bride and groom is different with different needs.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Negotiable. Things happen that sometimes are not under my control.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Typically in one week I will have about 65% of your wedding or event online for viewing. Your entire package order in your hands within 4-5 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Both parties do- myself and my clients
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes- again- both parties will have rights to publish.
