We're a small, experienced DJ firm that does one thing: 100% perfect weddings - fun and classy, without being cheesy or egotistical. Just visit our website and compare what you see to our competition - and you'll start to understand why this isn't your typical mobile disc jockey service. Our focus is always on you, our client. Not only do we serve as professional wedding disc jockeys, but also as trusted advisors in your wedding planning journey.
Most likely, this is the first time you've planned a wedding and you may not know where to start when booking a DJ - don't worry! We'll provide entertainment education, make appropriate recommendations based on your needs, and most importantly - as entertainers, we'll offer you the best practices from our experience at hundreds of local upscale weddings to ensure everything runs smoothly on your big day.
At Bay Deejays, you'll work with your DJ from an initial no-cost, no-pressure meeting, until you share the last dance of the evening on a dance floor still packed full of family and friends. There's no "bait and switch" or hard-sell sales tactics here. Just honest, candid discussions that allow us to get to know you as a couple and for you to get to know us a wedding professional.
You'll leave your first Bay Deejays meeting with a contract, our personal cell and home phone numbers, a company overview, and login information for our secure online wedding planner. We hope you choose to book us at our meeting, but we are so confident in our quality and reputation that we will hold your wedding date for you up to ten days after we meet without a deposit. If you do book us, your date is secured for you and you alone. Our deejays never take more than one event per day, offering you 110% of our abilities and concentration, and allowing you the flexibility to start your event early or end it later than expected with little or no additional notice required.
Our boutique-style firm of three deejays is small enough to provide intimate service and attention to detail, but large enough to have one of the three of us always available as a backup entertainer. That's right, we have three professional disc jockeys, each with a minimum of 12 years of professional DJ experience, and one of us is paid each weekend NOT to work, and serves only as a backup to the other two in the case of an emergency. One professional deejay backing up two professional deejays, we challenge you to find a better DJ contingency plan in the Baltimore/Washington area.
If you were a manager in the corporate world (and maybe you are), you'd first want to see the résumé of the contractor you are hiring as well as that of his or her emergency replacement, right? As the "manager" of your own wedding vendor team, you should expect nothing less of your DJ and the other service providers you hire. Do they all have the experience they claim on their website, or do you simply get lost in the company's endless marketing and self-promotion so you think that one DJ is worth the same amount as every other DJ in the firm? Most of our competitors are quick to flash their awards and mention their industry contacts, but is one of their sub-contractors with less than a year or two of experience under his/her belt truly a "professional" wedding specialist? Should you really have to pay this person the same amount as the few disc jockeys that handle the bulk of that company's work and generate the industry referrals and awards?
We invite you to review the professional résumés of Bay Deejays Owner and Wedding Specialist Jason Walsh, and Jason's business partners and fellow Wedding Specialists, Bob Sigmon and Chris Hart. Each entertainer has well over a decade of experience at hundreds of up-scale weddings in the Baltimore / Washington Metro area.
Jason Walsh is the President and founder of the United States Disc Jockey Association, and both he and DJ Bob Sigmon are Past-Presidents and Past-Vice Presidents (they each served 2-year terms in both roles) of the Baltimore Area Disc Jockey Association where DJ Chris Hart is a past member of the BADJA Board of Directors. All three deejays have presented numerous industry information sessions on various aspects of industry law, equipment, marketing, and technique, and combined, have over 50 years of experience at more than 2,000 events!!!
Besides providing great entertainment, Bay Deejays is also a responsible environmental partner and gives time, money, and talents to support organizations that educate and restore the Chesapeake Bay; a valuable backdrop for many of the events we entertain each weekend. We have selected the Chesapeake Bay Trust as our charity of choice and we give 5% of our annual net proceeds in the form of cash and in-kind donations to the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
Finally, we respect your privacy and will never turn your event into a commercial for our company by taking photos or videos or your big day. Many of our clients are government employees and support contractors that do not want or need their wedding anniversary photos, and those of their family and friends plastered online. (Yes, we post photos on our website, but only those that are provided by our clients.)
Does this sound good to you? If you are interested in an entertainment firm that puts the needs of its clients first - without cheese, ego, or attitude - while still providing unmatched value, experience, and friendly service, please visit our website at www.BayDeejays.com for pricing and instant availability.
