If you can hire Amy Ambrose for any photography need, do it. We had her as our wedding photographer, and we could not be more pleased. From start to finish, she was amazing. She is so kind, caring, and easy to work with. She was genuinely excited for our engagement and wedding, and clearly had such joy in photographing us. She took time to hear our story and was interested in our ideas and preferences for both the engagement shoot and wedding day. On top of all that, her photos look amazing. They are beautiful and so professional. And she gave us so many! She even put all of our pictures in black and white, to give us that option. We would recommend Amy to anybody in a heartbeat.

I cannot say enough good things about Amy Ambrose. Besides being an amazing photographer she is a sweetheart. I am not a big fan of having my picture taken and doing the whole forced smile thing but Amy made me feel so comfortable and had me and my husband laughing the whole time. Not only was Amy on time but she came prepared. It was an extremely hot day and with me being in a three piece tuxedo well needless to say that I was dying from the heat. Amy sees how hot I was and she pulls a bag of ice and a wash cloth out of a little cooler for me. Now lets talk about the pictures..... I haven't seen them all yet because the wedding was just two days ago but she gave me a sneak peek and they are just stunning, and everyone is raving about them. I highly recommend Amy Ambrose for any of your photography needs. You will not be disappointed. I promise.

Amy was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I did not want to see each other before the ceremony but we also did not want to miss much of our cocktail hour. We needed to find a photographer who could take all of the necessary pictures in less than 30 minutes. We were very nervous that the quality of the pictures would suffer. Not only did Amy take all of the pictures in less than 30 minutes, the quality of the pictures were absolutely amazing. She was organized, professional and wonderful to work with. Neil, the 2nd photographer was great as well. He took a lot of candid shots from far away while Amy was shooting up close. I couldn't be happier with our choice. She helped to make our day absolutely perfect!

Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with. We found her through Wedding Wire and couldn't have been happier. We met with Amy on multiple occasions and she was great every time.

We even had an engagement photo shoot that allowed her to get to know us better (so we would all be prepared on the big day!) Leading up to our wedding, she was great about reaching out and making sure she knew exactly what our priorities were.

The day of, Amy was great. Photographer is hands down the hardest job and Amy pulls it off with aplomb. Her cool calm nature keeps everyone relaxed. Also, Amy blends in and gets wonderful candids that you don't even know are happening (these are some of my favorites). I was so nervous that we weren't going to get all of our shots, but no way, Amy got them all!

Amy was quick with getting us sneak peeks and then all of our photos delivered in full. The selections and editing were beautiful. We're looking forward to working with her on creating our albums next.

Overall, I would strongly recommend working with Amy. Not only is does she have a gift for capturing beautiful photos, she is also a pleasure to work with.

No matter what I write about Amy, I will never be able to express how truly amazing she is to work with! When we met with her for the first time, we knew that she would be the perfect photographer for our wedding. She is not pushy, she doesn't make you feel uncomfortable...she wants to get to know each couple, to know their style, to learn about them personally and then she delivers with the most amazing photographs! Her photographs are so natural...probably because we didn't even notice that she was there half of the time! She is so patient and understanding - she made me feel so comfortable even though I don't feel comfortable having my picture taken. And Neil, her second photographer, is equally nice, funny, and so easy to get along with! We have really gotten to know Amy well throughout the planning process and I have enjoyed every moment of working with her. I will surely recommend her to my family and friends, and if I ever have the need for a photographer again, she will be the first and only call that I make!

Amy was an incredible photographer to work with! She made the whole photo process painless and easy. Her demeanor is very relaxed and laid back, which is great for such a stressful occasion. From our first meeting, I knew that Amy would be the right photographer. She is very knowledgable and knows how to capture the best picture. On my wedding day, Amy showed up much earlier than she had to and was very unobtrusive, we barely noticed she was there. I was concerned about hiring only 1 photographer, but Amy was able to capture every moment perfectly. After the wedding, we received sneak peek pictures right away. It also wasn't a long turnaround time to receive the rest of our photos. We were so pleased with the finished project, and our album came out great! I would highly recommend Amy if you are looking for a stress free experience with high quality photos.

I cannot say enough about this photographer!!!! She is fantastic!!!! If you are thinking about working with her, think no longer and DO IT!!!! We booked her for our wedding and she did nothing short of bend over backwards for us!!! Our food took quite long to come out so we asked her to stay longer and she didn't even think about it. She just did it no questions asked. She sent me sneak peeks of my pictures the day after the wedding, and I could not believe my eyes. We didn't think we would have more than 1 or 2 good pictures and all of the nearly 30 were absolutely gorgeous!!!! If I didn't know better, I would think that she has a magic wand. And, I must mention that she worked so well with the DJ that I would recommend them together for ANY event. We absolutely LOVE her!!!! We recommend her to ANYONE looking for a photographer and we look forward to working with her again!!!!!

Let me start off by saying I am also in the wedding industry, so I like to think I know my stuff. And I knew Amy was the photographer we wanted at our wedding. Amy is great! Her work speaks for itself so I will speak about her. She is very personable and easy to work with. A photographer is not just someone you have to spend a day with it's someone you should enjoy having around you on your WEDDING DAY. Amy is that person! She is polite, kind and courteous and treated all of our friends and family with the utmost respect. She is anxious to go that extra mile to make everyone feel at home while, at the same time, capturing all those candid and set up pictures we were looking for. Once the formals were done, Amy slipped into the background and allowed us to party. When I saw the pictures I was taken back at how amazing they were and I didn't even see her working. Amy is SO talented! She takes beautiful photos; everyone who I shared mine with could not stop looking at them! She is also such a sweet person, who is easy to work with.
When we had our engagement session with Amy, everything went beautifully. We had a last minute idea as the session was ending--to take some photos outside an ice cream shop. Unfortunately, the sun wasn't on our side, and it was a bit to dark to take the photos. My groom and I were fine with it, especially when we saw how many exquisite photos Amy had for us from earlier in the day. Amy though, wanted to be sure that we had each and every thing that we could have wanted and set up another time for us to take photos at an ice cream shop. She went completely out of her way for us; I don't think any other photographer around would have done this.
On the wedding day, she made the oftentimes tedious task of posing for photos enjoyable. During the ceremony and reception, I didn't even notice that she was there; she seamlessly blended in and captured beautiful photos as we were thoroughly enjoying our wedding day.
Nothing is forced with Amy; she is not a photographer that will "direct" your every movement all day. Amy lets you be yourself, and still somehow manages to make you look great on camera (even those ridiculous dance moves).
I highly recommend Amy Ambrose to anyone! My husband and I plan, and look forward to, working with her in the future!
