Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Our consultation with you will uncover exactly what you are looking for in terms of how your final images will appear. As a standard, we offer an assortment of fresh, color images, moody black and whites, and modern color and texture processes for photographs that stand apart in a very beautiful way.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We have experience with every lighting situation from artificial to natural.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We prefer the use of digital media.
How many photographers do you work with?
We offer a team of two photographers to ensure that every moment is documented and nothing is missed.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, we guarantee our presence under any and all circumstances.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No, your wedding is the only wedding of the day so we will arrive rested and focused on you and your loved ones.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we work with backup photographers in the event that an emergency takes place.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We travel lightly, but are sure all bases are covered. We will arrive equipped with two studio lights, four cameras, plenty of extra batteries and memory cards (at least 8GB in size), additional flash attachments, and at least 6 lenses for variety.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. Each photographer has a backup camera, extra batteries, and extra memory.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We offer a variety of options so that you can have the exact coverage you need. We are very flexible in that respect :)
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We charge $100 per half hour if you need us to stay longer than the amount of time we are scheduled for.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We do not take breaks, other than to scope new areas during downtime for additional shooting possibilities.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes; our rates for travel are currently $25/hour
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We guarantee to have your proofs online and ready for ordering within 30 days. Our turnaround is generally 3 weeks or less.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We offer a digital proofing gallery directly from our website, but we can also offer a CD-ROM (must be returned upon completion of your order).
How long can the client keep the proofs?
We offer all proofs in an album as a complimentary gift of thanks in all of our Collections. The proofs are delivered with your final print order.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We offer a shared copyright policy, meaning we ask for the right to enter photographs into competitions, to exhibit in galleries, to use in advertisements, to be published magazines, or to use on our website.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes. We will contact you if an opportunity to publish the images arises.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
No, but we do offer an option to purchase a CD-ROM at an additional cost.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer gorgeous high quality Vegan-friendly albums to our clients. Cruelty Free!
When will the client get the final album?
Upon receipt of your order, we ask that you allow a period of 30 days so that we can assemble your album and gift package your prints. Each order is custom-packaged.
