Kristin was the most amazing makeup artist and friend we could ask for during my sister's wedding a few months ago in October. She was referred to us by my sister's friend- and she promptly set up a trial at her home for a FULL face of makeup for the bride to give her an idea of what it would be like on the day. She was so funny and personable - it put everyone's nerves at ease, made us laugh - including my mother and of course the bride. Needless to say the work was phenomenal - she took such care and attention to the smallest details - took her time and didn't rush at all- matching colors to jewelry, asking the bride her preferences while providing offering professional opinion and input. She also did my makeup as well as my mom's ( I decided to have mine done last minute and she was completely flexible). The fact that this was an Indian wedding and she was able to apply all of the traditional jewelry and adornments and pull it off is truly commendable. Per partner in crime, Noel, did our hair, and we couldn't have been happier with her also. My makeup and look was phenomenal and I have never looked and felt more beautiful than I did that day! I'm a New Yorker and there are a world of makeup artists in the city-however I will only hire Kristin for my own wedding - she is simply the best-PERIOD!

Makeup Luxe did an amazing job for my wedding in November. Kristen is a natural when it comes to makeup and we all looked flawless. My bridesmaids all agreed it was the best make-up they have ever had done! Noelle was also amazing with all of our up-dos and she is extremely creative!! Our hair and makeup lasted all night and I highly recommend Makeup Luxe for a one stop shop for your hair and makeup for any occasion! Kristin was a true professional and a master of her craft. Her talents exceeded my expectations. From consultation to the day of my wedding she was accommodating and companionable. She answered my countless emails, phone calls, and texts quickly. Her meticulous attention to detail ensured my day went flawlessly. She created a relaxed, fun environment for my bridesmaids and myself. The vendors she recommended were top notch as well. Kristin was so professional and amazing! I called her last minute she was actually heading to an event at the time but she really wanted to help me and made the time for me :) .. I was a little scared being ethnic but My make up was incredible I didn't even tell her what I wanted but she knew what to on my face . She just asked me what I was wearing for my event and she did her magic everybody loved my make up . And of course I loved her so much I used her two days later for another event that I had. I truly recommend her to anybody :). She's the best!!

I hired Makeup Luxe, Kristin for Makeup and Noelle for Hair for myself and my Bridal Party on 10/3/15. It was an excellent decision. It was so nice for all of us to not have to worry about packing all our makeup and hair products to get ourselves ready. We trusted two very knowledgeable professionals and it made all the difference. It's easy to make 20 years old look beautiful but Kristin handled my 43 yr old skin expertly. I was so pleased with my makeup that I literally didn't wash my face until about 3pm the next day. I know that's bad for your skin but the makeup was way too good to take off. lol. I should note that before being referred to Makeup Luxe I had a trial at a Benefit store and it was an absolute disaster. They don't employ makeup artists with even a fraction of the experience that Kristin has and it shows. In the first 5 mins of my trial with Kristin, I knew that she knew exactly what she was doing.

Kristin at Makeup Luxe was the MVP of my wedding! Not only is she extremely talented, sweet, and professional, she kept me and my mother sane and helped out every which way she could. From the second we met at my trial, it was obvious to me that she was a total expert. On the day of the wedding, Kristin was prompt and did an amazing job on me, my mother, and my maid of honor. (My father was mesmerized at how gorgeous my mother looked!) I had arranged for another makeup artist at first, but she really was just far too inexperienced (and I had an allergic reaction after my trial). I had the extended package from Kristin (totally worth it considering how much she helped out), so she was with me from 7am until noon. She did such a fabulous job though, we barely needed touching up! She was helpful in other ways than makeup too -- she held my mother's purse during the ceremony! She helped me move out of my hotel room the morning of the wedding! (My mother has called me twice since the wedding -- two days ago -- to tell me how fabulous Kristin was and what a great find she was.) I am not the most confident person in my outward appearance, but Kristin made me look and feel positively stunning. I just can't say enough good things about her!

Kristin and Noelle are the perfect hair and makeup team for any special event! They are both extremely professional, responsive, flexible and punctual. Most importantly, they are amazing with hair and makeup! They made EVERYONE in my bridal party look absolutely stunning for my wedding. The makeup and hair lasted all day and night and was done beautifully, exactly as each woman/girl wanted! I have already recommended them to friends and would not hesitate to continue to do so! Book them, you won't regret it!

Kristin and Shannon were awesome! They saved me a lot of headaches by coming to my home for hair and makeup for my brother's wedding. I would highly recommend Makeup Luxe! Our faces didn't look over done...just beautiful and polished! Makeup and hair lasted all day and night! I can't wait for another event, just so I can use them again!

I did a trial with her as well before the wedding and I would suggest that to anyone to do. This way
I was comfortable with her already on my wedding day and knew that she would make me look great.

This is the best service I could have asked for both Noelle and Kristin were able to accommodate every change I needed, helped with difficult bridesmaids I had, professional, fun, reliable, and made my day that much more special-- I would recommend them for anything, and will continue to use the service in the future for any special day I have.
