The story of our wedding

Our favorite part of our wedding is all the friends and family who came from out of town to be there for our big day. One of my aunts flew on a plane from North Carolina to Florida for the first time! We were so touched by all the friends who not only showed up, but were also really excited to be there. My husband and I were together for 9 years (high school sweethearts) before we got married, so many of our friends and family have watched our relationship blossom throughout the years. Our wedding photographer (MandyLynn Photography) did an amazing job! We also had three lead day-of coordinators from Runway Events! They made us feel like VIPs. Our wedding venue, The Alfond Inn, also made us feel special. We had a personal butler who was even following us around during pictures after the ceremony and during reception. At the end of the night, they decorated our room and gave us champagne. For our last surprise, they gave us a personalized pillow with our initials on it. And not only did we get a free night stay there on our wedding night, but we get another free stay for our anniversary. Also, thanks to FairyTail Petcare pet sitting services, we had our dog in our pictures! That was so special for us. She made us a family before we got married. My wedding day started off with a call from my grandma in North Carolina. She couldn't make it, so she gave me a call and said a prayer for me and my soon-to-be husband. When it came to our wedding day, we didn't always follow 'tradition.' My mom walked me down the aisle because she raised me and is my rock. I also had my big brother stand on my side because he's one of my best friends. I did a first look with my bridal party and my brother totally teared up. I loved it! One last highlight of the night was my mom's toast. For every holiday, my mom gets us Reese's. Well during her speech, she called some of my longest friends up, and they passed out personalized Reese's in our colors (pink) to the guests! On the bottom they said "Brooke and Travis, June 15, 2019."
