The story of our wedding

After dreaming of our wedding for almost the whole 6 years we had been together, I (the bride) couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Our ceremony and reception were at the same venue, a grand historic ballroom that was the perfect backdrop for the opulent, romantic, and formal wedding we wanted. Our colors were burgundy, pale purple, light pink, and gold, and I chose classic roses and baby's breath for flowers. We kept our wedding party at a minimum with just a best man and matron of honor, and it was all we needed. I planned the wedding myself and worked hard on the little details - from the memorial table down to the gold flatware, this was truly a wedding designed by me. A day-of coordinator and wonderful vendor staff made the day easy and fun for everyone.
