Reggie and Danica's Wedding in San Diego, California

The story of our wedding

After more than 10 years since last seeing each other, it was kismet that Reggie would run into Danica during a rare visit to the West Coast in the Fall of 2017. He'd made the trip in honor of, his brother, Mikey's promotion to staff sergeant in the Marine Corps.

Danica had settled into San Diego after separating from active duty service in the Navy. She was meeting up with some of her old shipmates in Pacific Beach before they took off for another deployment, when Omarr and Reggie decided to take a trip to PB too ... on Oct. 11th, 2017, Danica and Reggie embarked on a new adventure and haven't looked back.

Reggie and Danica were only able to spend a day with one another when Reggie visited for Mikey's promotion. Within two weeks of his departure back east, Reggie was back on a flight heading to San Diego. Danica and Reggie spent the week together seeing the sites; Disneyland, Potato Chip Rock, the Gaslamp District, Mission Beach ... and Sunset Cliffs.

Regg and Danica went for a run along the Pacific Coast where they saw a wedding taking place. They made a promise to each other that day. On October 11th 2019, that promise came to fruition.
