The story of our wedding

We had the most perfect day for a beach wedding - low 80's with a gorgeous gulf breeze. My future stepdaughter and I had our hair done at the salon, then the makeup artist came to my house for only my makeup. The trolley I hired picked up my sister and husband at their VRBO, then came to my house where the rest of the wedding party was (minus my oldest son and the groom) It was a fun ride, and when we arrived the boys went to get my day-of coordinator. She snuck me into the bridal suite.

Our photographers arrived right on time and we had our First Look. SO glad I did that - John's reaction was priceless. We got a lot of the bridal party pictures done ahead of time. Our DJ had our music ready, and suddenly it was my turn to walk with my son down the beach. Our officiant made the ceremony so intimate and inclusive at the same time. After the I do's we had just a few more pictures, then Hubby and I joined in the cocktail hour - after having our first dance.

The food was excellent, the music was non-stop and the Photo Booth was a huge hit. Our cake and dessert table was another success. The entire event, held at The Beach House Waterfront Restaurant, was my dream come true.
