Joe and Carissa's Wedding in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania

The story of our wedding

Carissa first met Joe on Match.com. The two hit it off on their first date and have been inseperable ever since. Years of planning later Joe proposed at Cherry Springs Park under the stars. It was so dark Carissa couldn't even see the ring or his face. We quickly got to planning and a year and a half later had our dream wedding. The two of us are total opposites in our likes as Joe is very country and rustic while Carissa prefers more ball room and romantic feel. Many of our decisions were a compromised effort and overall Carissa was able to enjoy the day feeling like a princess while he got his rustic barn and decorations. Our wedding venue was at Bells Banquets which has huge crystal chandillers in a georgous barn wood look interior. Many ammenities are included in bells with food, bar, linens, set up, and clean up. This created an ease for the day. We had a three course dinner finished with a 5 tier custom wedding cake. Steve Vance Entertainment played the violin during our ceremony and cocktail hour and then switched into being a DJ for dancing. He was so phenomenal and we have recieved so many amazing compliments on the music alone. Corianne our photographer was able to capture every moment of the day from getting ready, to having a first look, our reception, ceremony, and dancing. My favorite detail of the day was wearing my mom's veil that happened to match my wedding dress seemlessly, as my great grandmother purchased it for my mom. We woke up on our wedding day knowing we had done everything we needed to in order for the day to go smoothly and just enjoyed the time celebrating together with each other and our families.
