8 Jun, 2019The story of our wedding
My husband and I had been dating for a year and a half before he proposed. At the stroke of midnight on New Year's 2018, he asked me to marry him. I was beyond elated. We got married a year and a half later. Our wedding was on a June evening at a beautiful golf course with a stunning, old, stone clubhouse. We wanted to have our ceremony outside, but had to have it inside due to the weather. They do say that rain on your wedding day is good luck. Luckily, we were able to do our first look outside before the rain came. Jeanie Gorrell did our gorgeous light pink floral arrangements. Tinker's Cake Shop made our beautiful and delicious cake. We had chocolate champagne, tiramisu, and carrot cake flavored layers. I loved my dress from the White Dress of Lexington, designed by Essense of Australia. I felt like a princess. The best part of our wedding was, of course, our ceremony. My cousin created and performed the most beautiful, touching, and personalized script. Looking into my husband's eyes and seeing his joy and excitement was priceless. I'm so glad that our amazing photographer, Lauren Duffy Able, was there to capture every wonderful moment of the wedding.
