The story of our wedding
Our wedding was on a beautiful, warm summer day in August. We went for a relaxed and laid back outdoors vibe. We got married in Des Moines, IA but tried to capture as much of a "French Chateau/French country" feel. The gardens at the Salisbury House kept it romantic, and the dance was held on broken cobblestone for a more industrial feel afterwards. We chose an informal way to do dinner where stations of different foods kept everyone mingling, and walking around the bar. I think that our day was full of love from both family and friends coming together and it was beyond perfect.
