The story of our wedding

Danny and I had always enjoyed summers down the shore, with days spent boating and enjoying the sun followed by long nights out at many of the local Jersey Shore watering holes. Over the years, we both enjoyed the same summer activities at many of the same places, but somehow our paths never crossed. One fine summer, I was at F-Cove with my friends on a beautiful Sunday. Danny happened to be cruising into F-Cove with a mutual friend on that very same day. F-Cove is a giant cove in Brick where people beach their boats and party til sunset. The stars had finally aligned when Danny swam up to me and we met on that fateful day, and the rest is history. After years of dating and many discussions about our future later, when Danny proposed it was without question that we knew we wanted to get married down the shore on the water, where our story all began. Being Italian raised and huge foodies, we needed the extravagant cocktail hour and high-end dinner options that many of the north-jersey venues are famous for but the beauty and ambiance of a waterfront backdrop for our photos and theme. The moment we walked into Clarks Landing Yacht Club we knew it was the perfect setting to celebrate the magic of our love, with its panoramic views of the Manasquan River, their extensive food and beverage offerings, and the timeless elegance their seaside mansion has to offer. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives. From our emotional first look on the dock, to our dreamy indoor ceremony where we said “I Do”, and the cocktail hour and reception celebrations with family and friends we will always cherish. I will never forget how my heart was beating out of my chest the minute before I walked down the aisle. Standing behind the doors of the Grand Ballroom, hearing Aerosmith "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" on the violin, and the doors opening to see my husband standing at the end of the aisle waiting for me... it was truly a larger than life emotional milestone that wouldn't have been possible without the Clarks team. My husband was overwhelmed by the emotion when I walked down the aisle, surrounded by the people we loved the most. It was the perfect moment, followed by the perfect day we have always dreamed of - truly exceeding all of our expectations. The day of course went by too fast, but we are blessed to have these memories to last us a lifetime. I have included a ton of photos because they tell the story best and share the emotion and love felt the entire day. We look forward to returning to Clarks Landing for their events and to enjoy their dockside restaurant so we can relive our fairy-tale over and over again!
