We got married Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville, Va. The day started out beautiful with a brunch at the manor for all of the wedding party and family. The girls got ready in the bridal salon that is located on site. We then had lunch catered to everything staying on site, including the bridesmaids and groomsmen. The ceremony began around 5 pm and, unfortunately, it began to thunderstorm just as we walked down the aisle to begin the ceremony. Our pastor did a great job keeping the ceremony short and sweet, while our guests were troopers. Lynn Prescott did our photography and An Affair to Remember did our videography. They both did well considering how much rain they had to deal with. Celebrations Catering catered the entire event and our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely amazing. All of our guests raved about the food. We had a surprise with our cake ceremony at 9 pm, as we cut the cake, fireworks from Pyrotechniques went off! See the amazing pictures below of the stunning fireworks display. Our DJ, Brian Sheperd of Excessive Beats, played us into the night. Rosemont Manor then set us up with pizza and beer for the after party on the garden terrace. Despite the rain, it turned out to be an amazing day. I wish I could relive it every day.
