The story of our wedding
Our wedding you can say has been waiting a long time. It will be 25 yrs that we have been together (11/18/2019). We decided 2 yrs. ago that we would finally make it official. We paid for our wedding ourselves so it would take the 2 yrs. to pay for it and all our regular expenses. I did a lot of D.I.Y projects centerpieces, table numbers and runners, my flower dog's collar, aisle runners, welcome signs, etc. If it could be made I did it. We had a rustic, whimsical, nature theme.
We decided on a Sunday morning brunch wedding because we love breakfast. We wed on a beautiful Sunny Morning outside at the Gazebo of Bittersweet Farm in Westport, MA the coordinator Carla was wonderful from when we first meet to the end of our wedding. I can really say she went the extra mile on our wedding day. Guest count 60.
Hair and makeup was done by Jess Abru from Limitless Beauty she agreed to come on-site to do my hair and makeup and she was such a calming element to the day. She even helped with my dress. Jess has a way to make you feel and look beautiful but she listens to you and still makes you look like yourself.
Music on Wheels was our D.J. and Photobooth vendor – Pete and Tammy kept the flow of the day going from the ceremony music to the dance floor. Tammy and their son made sure our Photobooth backdrop was signed by all attendants and keep the entertainment the whole day. They are a team that really makes it about your day and willing to go outside the box to have your vision come to life.
Brycin Video Productions was our Video vendor – Brian arrived early and even helped the boys get ready. He advertised as almost invisible and let me tell you I saw him when he arrived and barely when the festivities started. I saw him when he checked out with me before he left. I can’t wait to see the final product. Affordable and Professional glad I decided I wanted a video.
Slade Formal Wear, Inc – Mark Velozo to be specific was awesome and made my boys look on point and even matched my color to my dress ribbon.
David’s Bridal – Dartmouth was for the M.O.B pants outfit, shower jumper, and wedding dress. Christine was my associate and she was awesome considering I had to exchange my dress 3x from the time I purchased it to 3 months b4 the wedding (I lost 50 lbs and was down 5 szs) They understood and helped without a hassle every time.
Mr. & Mr.s K’s Tailoring in Somerset – Mary – did our alterations and she was a pleasure to work with and affordable. Defiantly recommend!!
Justice of the Peace – Dolores Berge, Somerset – She constructed an excellent ceremony and made it unique to us. I can’t thank her enough.
Florist – The Amber Rose Flora & Gifts – Ann Marie was able to execute my vision and affordable. She was even willing to set up all my D.I.Y items on the big day.
Nancy Bakery - Somerset make the most delicious variety of cupcakes my quests are still talking about it.
Coventry Candle Company made us special scented candle favors in our wedding colors.
Divine Images & Sanctuary Day Spa – Somerset - I used for all my pre-wedding needs, facial-Yum lash lift, massage with Michalya and hair color and cut with Ritz.
Shannon @ Mr. Carl’s Somerset – I used for my mani/pedi to get my nails phot ready. She even gave the Groom a manicure.
Luxe Barber Shop – Somerset – Gave the boys a final touch up with a clean shave and beard clean up. He had them looking really sharp for the big day.
