The story of our wedding

From the moment we first stepped into The Riviera in Massapequa, we were completely captivated by its unique charm, especially the stunning balcony—it truly sets it apart from any other Long Island venue. The staff was incredibly accommodating throughout the entire planning process, making everything feel effortless. To ensure a seamless day, we chose The Riviera's trusted preferred vendors, and they did not disappoint! After Hours Entertainment kept our guests dancing all night long, East Shore Photography beautifully captured every moment, and Francesco’s Bakery created a delicious cake. Mark of Elegance Limos provided smooth transportation, and Towers Flowers delivered stunning arrangements. Our attire was perfect, with the wedding dress from North Fork Bridal and suits from Men’s Wearhouse, while Be Beautiful Brides ensured we looked our best with hair and makeup.Our wedding day, July 12, 2024, was nothing short of magical. Despite unpredictable weather, Julie and The Riviera team handled everything with impressive agility. They quickly adapted, and thankfully, the skies cleared just in time for our dream outdoor ceremony. The personalized touches made it even more special: the beautiful piano rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for the bridal party, followed by the bride walking down the aisle to our song “Walls” by All Time Low, played by a talented friend who we met through YouTube and flew in to play for the ceremony. The bride’s Great Aunt was the flower girl and our beloved college professor, Chuck Garcia, officiated our ceremony, adding a personal and heartfelt touch. For a fun, interactive moment, we hid our wedding rings under a guest's chair, and the groom’s aunt had the joy of being our honorary ring bearer!The entire experience was seamless. We genuinely didn't need a day-of coordinator because The Riviera staff had every single detail perfectly under control. And the food! It was amazing, and our guests are still raving about the incredible dessert buffet. After Hours had us dancing all night long, culminating in a memorable "New York, New York" kickline with our family and friends—the perfect way to close out a perfect day!We are so incredibly grateful to The Riviera staff and all our amazing vendors and loved ones who contributed to our special day. It was truly unforgettable!
