The story of our wedding

Our wedding was a modern/vintage mix, wedding on a budget. We cut in areas we knew we weren’t super invested in, and focused on what we viewed most important: Photographer, attire, and venue. Our day was absolutely perfect-even despite a low turnout, and small things that didn’t go as planned. We really enjoyed the time with our close family and friends, and enjoyed being pampered and having a day all about us. We have 3 young children, so to be able to spend a full 24 hours focused on just us and our love for each other, was really special. The wedding started at 4pm on a Friday, with the reception immediately following, all at the same location. Our venue was a ballroom dance studio that used to be a vintage, community theater. We did our own food (taco bar) and saved thousands. I wouldn’t change that option for the world, because the food turned out great and worked out perfectly for our family and friends. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing! We were lucky to have found an amazing photographer who took care of it all during that day, and made it fun every second.
