28 Apr, 2019The story of our wedding
We both work in museums, so we knew that art and history would play an important role in our wedding. We based our theme off of many of our favorite artists. From invitations to table cards to the cake - every detail was personalized and exactly what we wanted.
The wedding gown was a custom design from Casablanca Bridal, ordered with the generous time and assistance from the bridal store. The veil was an heirloom from the bride's mother that was beaded to match the gown. The look was completed with makeup done by Liz at Luscious & Co. and hair by the bride's cousin, Angel of Hair Technologies in Worcester. The bridal party spent the morning together at the Ethan Allen Hotel getting ready in the bridal suite.
Our vendor team was amazing to work with! The bride and groom did a lot of DIY projects (including the stationery, the table and seating cards, and the veil), and worked with Bloominous to create a custom flower package that brought everything together beautifully. Our catering team deployed our scheme exactly how we envisioned it, despite last minute rain and cold. They were patient, professional, and understanding even after last minute changes and picky eaters. The cake was a work of art in and of itself, and tasted just as wonderful as it looked.
