Tia Quirk Photography

Tia is seriously the greatest! She makes her shoots fun and takes away any awkwardness you may usually feel in front of the camera. We had our 7 year old in on our engagement session and she managed to keep him entertained and smiling the whole time. If you want a photographer who listens, is a good time, and responds quickly, all while being super reasonably priced- Tia is your gal! 10/10 recommend!

I've never been one to take a lot of photos, and certainly not of myself. I think the last time I updated a profile picture on social media was over a decade ago. For whatever reason, I never felt compelled to capture the moments of my life the same way other people are. Having said that, I would have deeply regretted not hiring Tia as our wedding photographer to memorialize our special day.

I'll admit, when my wife first showed me the price points for wedding photography packages, I balked. I was very hesitant to spend, what I considered at the time, to be an exorbitant amount of money, on them. However, with everything all said and done, I can confidently say that I was wrong, and that it was absolutely worth it. In fact, given industry averages, she should probably be charging more. Tia gave us such incredible photos, beyond anything I imagined, that perfectly captured every moment of our wedding day. She has such a great eye for detail and knew exactly the right angles to shoot and positions for us to stand in to look our best. I think part of why I disliked taking photos of myself is because I didn't like how I looked in them, but Tia made me look the best I ever have. And my wife, my goodness. She looks absolutely stunning in every photo.

Aside from the staged photos, Tia also excels at capturing the atmosphere and mood of candid moments. The photos from our wedding reception are some of our favorites. It was wonderful to see everyone hanging and out having fun, oblivious to the fact they were being photographed. Tia was very good at being present when she needed to be, but also at blending into the background to give people the freedom to be themselves, without the pressure of knowing they were being photographed. I found that extremely impressive and she got some truly great pictures because of that ability.

One of the things my wife wanted me to mention in this review was how much she loved Tia's energy. The way she conducted herself while taking photos was very professional, but also very friendly and familiar. After about 15 minutes with her, it felt like we'd known her for years, and felt so comfortable with her. Her demeanor helped us relax and shed some of the nervousness we were feeling before the ceremony, which was a wonderful side effect we weren't anticipating.

Tia is absolutely phenomenal at what she does, from taking pictures, to communicating with clients, and also at editing and curating the right photos. We got our final batch back last night and could not be happier. Every photo is perfect and looks amazing. She got them back to us quickly, too. I understand it can take upwards of 8 weeks sometimes to get photos back, and Tia got ours to us in about 4. She's made a believer out of me, that's for sure. If you're in the market for a wedding photographer and need someone you can trust to capture every important facet of your special day, you can do no better than Tia.

We had the absolute pleasure of hiring Tia as our photographer for our July wedding, and from our very first conversation to the final photo of the night, she exceeded every expectation.
Neither my husband nor I had ever done a professional photo shoot before our engagement session, but Tia immediately put us at ease. She is incredibly warm, bubbly, and brings such a bright, positive energy wherever she goes. You can truly feel her passion for photography and her dedication to capturing authentic, meaningful moments.

On our wedding day, Tia was nothing short of amazing. She was organized, calm, and such a supportive presence throughout the day. She kept everything running smoothly, brought on a talented second shooter to ensure no moment was missed, and navigated family and group photos with both efficiency and grace. She even stepped in to fix my veil when it started falling off — the little things she did meant so much!

Our engagement and wedding photos turned out absolutely perfect — genuine, beautiful, and full of emotion. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer or person to share in such a meaningful part of our lives.
