This venue is so beautiful! Lalisa, the owner, and Katie, the wedding coordinator produced a seamless wedding ceremony and reception. This venue is worth every penny. I am so honored my fiance and I had our start at such a magical place. Thank you! -

Beautiful Venue
My husband and I are still so happy we chose to celebrate our big day with family and friends at Zimmerwald. Many of our out of town guests commented on how beautiful the venue is, both inside and out and we could not agree more. The venue itself has a lot of character so we felt that not too many decorations were needed. From the minute we chose Zimmerwald leading all the way up to the day after our wedding, LaLisa and Katie were both so helpful and answered any questions we had quickly, which made us feel valued. We definitely recommend choosing Zimmerwald Estate Barn & Grainery as your wedding venue. -

If you want a Hallmark wedding, this is the place to go! LaLisa and her family were the BEST! So friendly, professional, and helpful. Guests couldn't stop raving about the location. We were able to multiple areas for games, dancing, axe throwing, rocking on porches, smores, fire places, and so much more. Once you set eyes on this place you'll have to have it, and once you start working with the family, you'll be thrilled to have made the right decision. Can't recommend more! -

Anthony Wedding
Zimmerwald is the absolute best!! LaLisa was so helpful with any questions we had, and Katie, her daughter, was the best and most professional wedding director. The venue is already decorated, and Katie even used lanterns from her own home to help bring my vision for our ceremony area to life. Wen you book with LaLisa, you get to use the property for engagement pictures, bridals, rehearsal dinner, and of course the wedding! They also give you an extra days worth of time to clean up after the ceremony, which gave our families an opportunity to go home and rest then come back and clean after our wedding! 10/10 would recommend Zimmerwald because the venue itself is beautiful and the owners truly care about their customers! -

The venue was absolutely breathtaking! It was a dream to get married at such a beautiful place. There is plenty of space for your guests and a lot of options for the reception. I am so thankful for LaLisa and Katie for all their help making my dream wedding come true. Katie helped as our wedding coordinator to make sure our day went smoothly. LaLisa was always so quick to respond and helped us so much on the day of the wedding. I highly recommend getting married here! -

Amazing; made everything so much easier
I absolutely loved this venue. I wanted to do little decorations because the barn was so beautiful itself. The owner and her family were so incredibly helpful the days leading up to our wedding day and especially the day of. It was perfect! We could NOT have chosen a better place with a great owner and family! -

Absolutely incredible day
Lalisa and Katie were the absolute best possible choice we could have made with Zimmerwald Estate. We looked at over 25 venues between South Carolina, north Carolina and Tennessee. This was hands down the best choice to make our day perfect and the most everlasting memory we could have had. Katie was our day of coordinator and she was an absolute champion. She kept us on track and moving even when things got chaotic she was right there to fix it and make sure everything was handled. The venue itself was breathtaking when we added decorations for our Christmas theme, it was truly the greatest day of our lives. The family at Zimmerwald is exactly that, family and we will cherish them for everything they did for us forever. Thank you so much. -

The family that owns zimmerwald is the most loving and kind-hearted people you will ever meet. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is nothing more than a dream come true! I can thank them enough for being a part of making our day something you would see in a country love song. The venue it's self is absolutely breathe taking. I will highly recommend using them to have your dream wedding or using for any event I plan on using them in the future as well. -

Wedding/Gender Reveal
Zimmerwald is the best place for a wedding and gender reveal! They are so accommodating and even though COVID ruined our original plans, I think our new plans worked out so much better! Highly recommend! -

This place is absolutely breathtaking! They have a beautiful field to have a ceremony and if the weather is not cooperating they have a back up barn and not a bad backup plan! The owner is so easy to work with and helpful as they come. I would give this place 20 million stars if possible ! -

Back in May we had our wedding. It was right in the early stages of COVID 19. We had our minds set for this date instead of pushing it. We were only able to have a very small (10 people) wedding but I wouldn't have traded it for anything. Everything was accomodated and I am thankful to Zimmerwald for allowing the day to still be so special! -

I got married at Zimmerwald on June 8, 2019. Lalisa and Katie were extremely helpful with the preparation of my wedding day. Lalisa made sure I had all the decor I needed and allowed me to come set up the venue as I pleased. Katie directed my wedding and helped me to set up the reception building (along with Lalisa). The family is very helpful, supportive, and friendly. Lalisa’s husband was also very friendly, as he came out and met my precious little family and thanked us for choosing Zimmerwald. This family takes the stress of wedding planning, decorating, and the ceremony off of you. I recommend using this venue to all of my friends getting married and choosing to use Katie as the director. I could never show enough appreciation! -

Simply amazing and beautiful venue
This venue was at the very top of our list. I took my bridal pictures here in May and our wedding was on 8/26/17. we couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married and we couldn’t have asked for better people to help us plan our special day. -

My husband and I were one of the first couples to marry at The Zimmerwald. We actually booked the venue during the building process. Upon our first visit we knew that this was where we wanted to take our vows! The management style is one that makes you feel like family. The Carpenter's are kind, understanding and truly want your day to be all you dreamed of! All of our guests ooh'ed and ahh'ed at the venue. Due to the uniqueness of the venue and the breathtaking country views, decorations can be at a minimum. We feel blessed to be part of the Zimmerwald wedding history and have only wonderful things to say! If you're looking for a beautiful venue owned by fantastic people, look no further! -

This vendor was absolutely perfect! We had an awesome experience, they helped meet all requests and special needs and were always prompt in answering questions. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with multiple ceremony options, separate areas for getting ready, indoor dining options with tables and chairs available and so much more. I would highly recommend this venue for any wedding or event! -

This venue is so beautiful! It has the cutest decor with white lights already strung up. The people that manage it are so nice! We used Katie as our event coordinator and she was the absolute BEST! Words can not express how much of a help she was! 10/10 in every aspect! When you book your wedding you get Friday, Saturday, and Sunday till 2 pm and your bridal session. You never feel rushed! I couldn’t have picked a better venue! -

This place was the most perfect wedding spot! Out in the open with no distracting noises, beautiful choices for ceremony and reception placement and more! We got married out in the field on the hillside and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. Hiring Katie as the coordinator for the day is the BEST decision you can make. She is professional and keeps things moving on time! Our day went off without a hitch! So happy to have chosen this place to marry my best friend! The venue is very flexible to move around decorations and help you set up, you get it for the whole weekend! -

Zimmerwald is amazing! I am a photographer and have shot multiple weddings here, and also held my mini sessions here. Everything is spot on from the beautiful venue, to the decor, to the views, you cannot go wrong with choosing this place. The owners are so kind and so easy to work with. They are so helpful along the process and will work with any needs you have! They are also easy to get in touch with! I 10000% recommended this venue. Although we'd planned to have our ceremony outside, the rain forced us into the bar. But it was a blessing in disguise, because I think it turned out more beautiful and was more intimate for our ceremony. The reception was incredible, and I felt like we had enough space for all our guests. The owners did an amazing job to make sure their space was perfect for our day! We LOVED our Zimmerwald wedding! -

Perfect day, perfect venue.
Zimmerwald Estate was the PERFECT venue for my wedding! Not only is is a beautiful, beautiful place, but the owners of the venue were extremely helpful and helped throughout our day to ensure that it was everything we wanted! My husband and I both agree that we would go back and relive our day over and over a million times, if we could! We cannot thank the Carpenter family enough for everything! The owners of Zimmerwald went above and beyond to help make our wedding day special! The venue is absolutely beautiful and very spacious! We had 250 people at our wedding and I was very pleased with how everything flowed. Also Katie (the owners daughter) makes wonderful wedding cakes! -

This stunning venue is one of my all time favorites!! The romantic, elegant, and rustic feel of the venue is perfect for any bride and the owners go above and beyond to create a one of a kind client experience! As a wedding photographer, and having worked on the grounds numerous times, I can say for certain that the Zimmerwald Estate is one of the most fantastic venues around!!
