Choosing Zev as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning he made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. He took time to answer every question, helped us build our timeline, met with my family, and made sure every detail was thoughtfully planned long before the wedding day.
On the day itself he was so much more than a photographer. He kept us calm and organized, brought such steady and positive energy, and somehow managed to capture every moment without ever feeling intrusive. He truly goes above and beyond and becomes the person you can rely on throughout the entire day.
The photos are absolutely beautiful. He captured everything from the big emotional moments to the tiny, candid ones that mean the most. His style feels natural, effortless, and truly authentic to who we are. The quality, the emotion, and the attention to detail in every image exceeded every expectation we had.

Zev and his team were fantastic! They captured our day wonderfully with both formal and candid shots. They made us comfortable during portrait times and virtually disappeared during the events! Professional, Fun, Fantastic Photographer
Zev’s photos are incredible. He is very knowledgeable about his craft, patient in helping build out a “photo list” and make us all genuinely laugh as we were taking the photos. He was always prompt in his communication, and was honest and straightforward. He didn’t push you into something you didn’t want, but would also give an opinion that would help if you were stressed or needed some assistance. I appreciate every interaction with Zev. Him and his coworker were able to capture every memory (even ones I didn’t think of) – nothing was missed. Thank you Zev!

Zev Fisher is a gentleman and a scholar. Two things I will not shut up about for the rest of my life: 1) how much I love my husband 2) how incredibly amazingly spectacularly talented Zev is. We had a two-hour long wedding photo viewing party and every (!) single (!) photo (!) was a hit (sorry to my neighbors that had to hear our very loud reactions). His work speaks for itself but I can also tell you he (and his second shooter Michaela) were such a delight to work with. I felt like I spent the entire day surrounded by my (new) best friends. Prompt, flexible, kind, and so talented at making those in front of the camera feel at ease. If you make one good decision for your wedding, let this be it. Zev and Michaela, I will always and forever be your biggest fan. 11 out of 10 stars.

Picture Perfect
We booked Zev for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. We were blown away with his work. We feel like Zev was really able to capture, the spirit and love that was in the room. Not only is he incredibly skilled but he has a way of making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos you receive from Zev are above and beyond what we have seen from other weddings. We will cherish these for the rest of our lives.

The best photographer you could ask for
If you have the chance to work with Zev for your wedding, take it. He is so amazing to work with. I can't say enough good things about working with Zev. No one in my family is very comfortable having their picture taken, but Zev makes everything so easy and has a talent for bringing out genuine smiles in his subjects. You'll feel like you just met your new best friend after spending five minutes with him. He's incredibly talented, funny, and just wonderful to work with. He was fantastic both during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day, and we absolutely love how the pictures came out.

Beyond expectations
When we started planning our wedding, everyone told us the photographer was one of the most important decisions and worth investing in. We decided to hire Zev after meeting with many great vendors in the area, and I cannot say enough how happy we are with the decision! Zev is so fun and easy to work with; detail oriented without being overwhelming; helped us manage a very tight timeline with lots of logistics/moving around and ensured we got every photo we wanted (pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception). He made everyone feel at ease and brought out everyone's best smiles, while giving us pointers to ensure that no stray hairs or awkward positioning would take away from an otherwise amazing photo. His associate photographer was wonderful as well and both are just super fun and amazing people overall.

Book Zev for stunning photos
Working with Zev was an absolute dream. We got married on New Year's Eve in Boston and had a very specific vision of taking photos around the city. Zev made sure that we stayed on schedule and that we accomplished every shot we had asked for. Zev made being in front of the camera so comfortable and easy, and was a blast to be around.

Best photographer in Boston!
When we were searching for a wedding photographer, we honestly did not know what to look for. And then we saw Zev's photos -- they stood out from everyone else's. In the leadup to and on our wedding day, we could not have asked for a more wonderful person to work with. Zev is kind, thoughtful, hilarious, and brings wonderful energy to the entire event. Best Wedding Photographer Ever!
Zev Fisher Photography was recommended to me by a close friend and from our first interaction I knew I made the right choice in booking him and his team! In the lead up to the wedding, Zev took the time to meet with me and my husband to get to know us and learn about what was most important to us at our wedding. On the day of, Zev and his assistant Liz were absolutely fantastic! Not only were they extremely professional, they were also so much fun to hang out with all day! They captured everything - from the formal portraits to the candid moments and everything in between. The pictures turned out AMAZING and he got them to us so quickly (within 3 weeks)! Zev is an amazing photographer with an equally amazing attitude. He photographed our August 2022 wedding and from start to finish we couldn’t be happier. Planning was open, easy and stress free; we discussed our wants and needs and mixed them with his recommendations to create a great timeline and photo list. Day of went smooth and Zev and his team were super easy to work with and a lot of fun. They helped us look good, stay organized and most importantly have fun. Photos from our wedding are beautiful, and he did an amazing job getting photos of all the guests and throughout the venue. Gorgeous Photos and a Dream to Work With!
Zev and his associate, Liz, I cannot recommend enough! We absolutely loved our wedding photos and our engagement photos. He was prompt and professional and very responsive throughout the entire process. He knew our unique venue (a botanic garden) inside and out and captured the perfect moments in the best light. My husband and I are not huge fans of being in the limelight, and he made it an incredible experience! Everyone in our wedding parties and families looked so photogenic - I don't know how he does it - and he captured all the special details and the amazing dance party shots. He is the best in the business!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Book Zev now!
A little late on this review, but I had to write this as Zev is the absolute BEST photographer you will find!!!!! My husband I got married on September 9th and needless to say, Zev was an instrumental part of making our wedding so special. Zev single handedly allowed us to feel confident, happy & relaxed on our wedding day, as he put together a detailed schedule from morning-evening and ensured we were always at the right place at the right time. When taking photos, he made sure we had a BLAST in the process (our family and friends LOVED him!!). When hiring Zev, we knew he would do a great job, but we were beyond blown away when we saw our final portfolio. He truly has a remarkable ability to capture the genuine love, happiness and excitement of your wedding day, without any photos feeling/looking staged. After looking through the final photos, we felt as though we were able to relive our wedding day thanks to Zev's amazing candid style of photography. Since sharing the photos with family/friends, we've had many, many people share that Zev's photos are the best wedding photos they've ever seen. Simply the best!!
I cannot say enough good things about Zev! Zev photographed our August 2021 wedding at Misselwood Events, and I would absolutely recommend him to everyone I know!! We first contacted Zev after seeing his work on Instagram. The quality and style of his images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s both modern and timeless. Zev’s vibe aligned exactly with what we were seeking. After meeting with him over the phone, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with Zev shows through in the final product. The pictures are absolutely stunning, filled with glowy, flattering light. Zev knew exactly how to make are all whole wedding party feel like we were just hanging out with a friend and the laughter and joy we felt that day really shines through in each picture. On a practical note, Zev was consistently communicative, agile, and punctual throughout the entire process. He would often check in with us and offered a wealth of planning resources. You want your wedding photos to look like Zev took them
First, I'll start by saying I feel for all you future brides, grooms, and married-people-to-be in this time of great uncertainty. How terrible to put such a special day off, to fear that not everyone you love will make it through this to be at your wedding. I'm so sorry.
I'm writing to you from the other side--3 and a half years later to tell you about Zev, and why you want him of all people to be your wedding photographer. Zev and his crew are true professionals, a just overall great people. They make you feel special and photogenic even when you're nervous and definitely making weird faces. He helps find the best lighting, the best background, the best colors. All the vendors know and love him (a good sign.) His photography captures the moments you didn't even realize were happening until they were over.
The reason I'm writing this review almost four years late is to say thank you. My family and I are practicing physical distancing--as I am sure we all are--and I haven't seen them in many weeks, and probably won't see them for many more. Not everyone who was alive at my wedding is still here. In the time since I got married, I cannot tell you how many times I've looked at my wedding album. It's a reminder of what was truly the happiest day I've ever had. I really didn't think I would do that--look at pictures over and over--but when they're that special, and they bring you back to the joy you felt in that very moment--you can't help it. You want your wedding photography to capture everything. Zev does that. And years from now you'll want to be able to revisit the pictures--every goofy moment!--because you never know when you might not be able to revisit the people who were there.

Zev was one of the first vendors we hired and we are so so so happy with our decision! I'm sure you know that weddings can be a stressful time and then add on a winter wedding with a high of 30 degrees, but Zev and his associate had us laughing all day. I could not be happier with our choice in choosing Zev for our wedding day. Choosing a photographer was one aspect of my wedding in which I did not want to rush in choosing. (I searched and interviewed quite a bit!) I got married on the shortest day of the year (limited sunlight) and did not want a first look photo session...so I knew photos would be tricky. Zev assured us this would not be a problem. He also worked with us to guarantee we got every picture we wanted. With a wedding party of 17 and 9 kids- this was no easy task. Zev handled it flawlessly. People who have seen our photos say they are the best they have ever seen! I have already recommended him to my engaged friends! I would without a doubt recommend him !!

The BEST Wedding Photographer
Hiring Zev was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning, and quite honestly, the easiest decision. From our initial consultation with Zev, he was so easy to talk to and felt like a friend. He has a way of making you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and is able to capture such special moments that are not posed. We hired Zev because of how he produces photos that show the natural progression of the wedding day and the emotion that builds up from getting ready, to first look, ceremony, & finally the party!
I can’t say enough amazing things about Zev. Our wedding party and family loved him; he was able to blend into our day and be a part of it. With the investment you make in hiring him, he always includes a second shooter. This was essential (but not always common with other photographers). For example, the second shooter was able to hang out and photograph the groomsmen getting ready & make them feel comfortable around the camera, while Zev was with the ladies. His second shooter that day, Vince (we love you!!!), was also able to capture me walking down the aisle of the church from above while Zev was down below capturing Chris’ and my reaction.
Zev was extremely organized and gave us great suggestions on our logistical nightmare to get first look and wedding party photos before the ceremony. The day of, he was taking notice to the time and would make sure to keep us on track but in no way stress anyone out. It was amazing! My husband and I wanted to take some post ceremony photos (I highly recommend this even if you had first look photos which we did too), and I had scoped out an area across from our reception venue. Zev had never photographed this area before yet these were my FAVORITE photos! Firstly, because we were finally married and the emotion in the photos is truly evident, but secondly, Zev was able to take an unfamiliar backdrop and turn it into a literal masterpiece.
If you are considering Zev to photograph your wedding, look no further but be warned: He will make you even more excited than you ever thought possible about your wedding, he will become a friend that you could totally have a beer..or three with, he will capture the best moments of your life up until this point.

The best ever, period.
Other than my choice of husband, I think hiring Zev was the best choice I made during wedding planning. I did a ton of research into wedding photographers in Boston area, and his photos were easily the best I saw. Before we booked Zev, we met with him at his studio, looked through books of some of his work, and talked about what we were envisioning for the day. We loved that his focus is on more candid, emotive, and in-the-moment kinds of shots rather than the staged photos where everyone just stands in a line (though he does make sure to get the most important groups together for these photos, as well). His portraits also are to die for... I thought I looked beautiful when I looked in the mirror on my wedding day, but looking back through the pictures he captured, I look even better! He's got a great eye and a great demeanor, and he was so fun to work with in general. We laughed through the whole day and it never felt awkward to have him there despite how intimate some moments were. We were also shocked and thrilled with how quickly he got the digital photos back to us after the wedding. Do yourself a favor, and book Zev NOW!

Zev was PHENOMENAL on our wedding day! He showed up to our venue with a huge smile on his face and was such a joy to work with. Zev made everyone feel comfortable (including those who don't like to have their pictures taken) and had the best sense of humor - key for great photographs! He has a unique eye for capturing the true essence of a wedding through a camera lens, and has a knack for capturing the best candids! I cannot begin to say enough great things about Zev. He is absolutely the BEST! When my now husband and I got engaged, Zev was the first vendor that we booked - he was the photographer at my older sister's wedding and one of my best friend's weddings the summer before, and I was completely blown away by his work & how fun he was to work with at those weddings.
From the very first email we sent, to coming up to our apartment in Portland ME for engagement photos, to all the amazing memories he captured on our wedding day in June, my husband and I could not be more thankful to have worked with Zev. He met with us before the engagement shoot to learn more about us, so we were way more comfortable than I expected we would be (I am awkward in front of the camera!) during the engagement photos. We were so happy with how they came out, capturing some of our favorite parts of the city we live in. On the wedding day, Zev not only captured so many incredible photos and memories, but was so fantastic to work with! We were both nervous before the ceremony, and helped keep us calm and laughing for photos. After the ceremony, Zev got so many awesome photos of our family, wedding party & friends who were there to celebrate with us, that we will cherish forever. How he was able to capture so many great memories in a night that went by so quickly I will never understand, but we are so incredibly thankful that he did.

We LOVED working with Zev! He was very organized, professional, responsive, and an all around great, funny guy! Our venue, Willowdale Estate (Topsfield, MA) had recommended Zev on their preferred vendors list.
My husband and I were looking for photos that weren’t too posed/blown out/touched up. We were looking for more of a natural, relaxed feel with natural light, and Zev’s candids turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.
On the day of the wedding, Zev and his assistant Bailey were amazing as soon as they arrived. They only added to all of the positive energy of the! During portraits, Zev made every family/friend feel comfortable and relaxed, and he used cocktail hour to get so many awesome pictures of family/friends we’ll cherish forever! (As the bride, I also had so much fun with him and Bailey during my portraits, and laughed so hard :) ) The photos from the ceremony and reception were flawless. Zev captured so many moments - knew exactly where to be and when to be there, while being super respectful and unobtrusive.
As two web designers, my husband and I were looking for an easy way to receive/access our photos. Zev’s client website was so easy to use to find digital versions of our photos. The little package Zev sends over after the wedding is gorgeous too! His attention to detail makes every client feel pampered/special. Thanks so much, Zev!

Amazing Wedding Photographer!
Zev is incredible! He is an unbelievable photographer and extremely fun to work with! He captured every detail of our wedding day perfectly and he is extremely responsive. He met with us before to go over all our photo requests. He is very patient and open to questions and feedback. Zev gets back to you very fast and really cares about his customers. He even posted one of our photos! We loved working with Zev and would recommend him to any wedding couple!

Just the best!
Working with Zev was fantastic and one of the best decisions we made! He's personable, extremely communicative and most of all, unbelievably talented. We're in love with our photos and they're unanimously loved by our friends and family - and not just because they're our wedding photos, but because they do such an amazing job of capturing the day from beginning to end. My wife and I have hired Zev for his services on 2 occasions, recently for our Wedding on 9/2/18 in Boston and about a year and a half earlier for our engagement photos. He does remarkable work, and has very close attention to detail. We first met Zev about two years ago at a coffee shop at a hotel in Cambridge MA and ever since then knew he would be the one for us for our wedding day photos. He is very knowledgeable about where to take photos around the Boston area, especially given the time of day that he is shooting the photos or the weather conditions. Also, one thing that really stuck out to my wife and I is that he makes you feel very comfortable when he is taking your photograph. I would recommend Zev and his team to anyone looking for quality photos for their special day. He is truly a pleasure to work with, very responsive to emails, and he truly shows that he cares about his clients. Zev does A+ work, we would recommend him to anyone, and down the road when we start to have a family, we are very much looking forward to hiring him again for baby photos. We knew that hiring the right photographer for our wedding was probably the most important vendor we could choose as we were going to have these photos for long after our wedding was over. We made a list of photographers in and around the Boston area and began doing vendor calls with each. When it came to our call with Zev, we knew he was the right fit. Not only are the photographs on his website and blog stunning, but he has such a great personality. He was easy to chat with and we could tell he loves what he does.
Zev ended up shooting our engagement and wedding photographs. We are in love with both. Our wedding photographs beautifully capture the love and joy from our day. And we could tell that Zev really cared about making sure our photographs captured everything we had wanted. Hiring Zev was one of the best decisions we made. I cannot recommend Zev Fisher highly enough.

We talked with 3 wedding photographers over all before choosing Zev, but we also saw him shoot a best friend's wedding, so we had some idea of his style. We decided photography was one area where we wanted to splurge and Zev is extremely professional so his services tend to cost more, but it was worth it to us. He was very accommodating in planning, even with tricky family dynamics, and he and his assistant brought a great energy to what can be a stressful day. It rained the entire day of our wedding, but Zev and his assistant had great attitudes and helped everyone enjoy lovely rainy day shots. We highly recommend Zev -- very worth the investment!

Zev is definitely the best decision we made when planning our wedding! Not only is he so genuine and fun to work with, but his talent is unparalleled. I am super critical of myself in photos, and both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures came out absolutely stunning... Plus taking our photos was fun and not awkward at all because he makes you feel super comfortable. Zev was able to not just make us all look good, but capture the happiness and positive energy we all felt on our day-- in candids and in portraits too! Our wedding party and parents are stunned at how amazing they came out, as are we. I could not recommend Zev enough to everyone planning a wedding in the Boston area!

We LOVED working with Zev for our engagement session and wedding. Zev had photographed a few friends' weddings and I loved how he captured not just the couple's joy, but every guests' as well. In fact, it was a photo of my husband and I dancing at a friend's wedding that convinced us we needed Zev for our big day - he caught us in head-over-heels love before we knew we'd be husband and wife.
Zev's work speaks for itself - stunning composition, creative choices, and he really finds what works for the couple. Our engagement session at Nightshift POPPED with bright colors and our wedding photos range from catching those soft ethereal first look moments to the straight nonsense that was our all night dance party.
If you have the chance to work with Zev, do it.

I could not be more pleased than I am with my experience with Zev Fisher Photography. He did both my engagement photos and my wedding photos. First, he is the most likable and easy going person to work with. He instantly put us at ease, which in the midst of wedding planning and stress is a big deal! Second, his photos are incredible. Looking at them now feels like looking at a wedding magazine. I can't imagine anything higher quality. Zev is out-of-this-world talented! He captured such precious moments from both our engagement session and our wedding day, and in doing so he preserved all the beautiful memories we get to cherish for years to come! There were so many shots that we looked back at and never realized he had caught. Zev is so fun and friendly that it didn’t take long (literally, minutes!) for us to open up to him and just be ourselves in front of his camera. It’s amazing how Zev was able to capture who we are as a couple to a T and it totally shows in all of the photos. Our wedding day was everything we could have ever hoped for and we are so very thankful that Zev was a part of it. We would have been lost without him. Anytime I had a question about timeline/ details/ anything he was always there to help. He has a great ability to keep everyone at ease and laughing (which made for some great pictures!) Zev was the absolute best. On the day of our wedding he brought an assistant and she was fabulous as well. Our pictures came out amazing (and we tend to hate pictures of ourselves). I have already recommended Zev to some of our close friends because it was such a pleasure working with him. His pricing is extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend doing an engagement shoot and getting a formal album through Zev as well. The engagement shoot helped us be more comfortable on the day of the wedding and the album is stunning. Zev was always super responsive and easily accessible. He is very laid back and helped us to feel less awkward in front of the camera. He also sent us digital copies of the photos within a week, so we were able to look at them on our honeymoon! If I ever need a photographer in the future, I will definitely be looking to him!

Zev is truly the best. I worked for years as an event planner and coordinated weddings, so really understand that he is unique in his artistry, warmth, and professionalism. Even though it poured on our wedding day, the photos looked straight out of a magazine with gorgeous light, colors and perspective. Zev took the rain - which I feared would ruin everything - and turned it into a visual focal point of the day. He made the rain fun and everyone's favorite pictures are of us with umbrellas. More than anything, Zev perfectly captured the joy of my husband and I as a couple, our friends and family, as well as my favorite details like flowers and food. Your wedding photos are something you will cherish forever, so I could not have been in better hands than with Zev and his partner. We feel so lucky to work with him and have even another photo shoot with Zev for our one year wedding anniversary!

Zev is a phenomenal photographer. My husband and I used him for our wedding, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. What I love most about our wedding photos is that they are not over-worked or edited to the point where we look airbrushed. All of our photos look beautifully natural and real. Zev has an ability to make the most simplistic environment look unique. I remember being concerned about the lack of space for photography at our wedding venue, but Zev is so creative that in a bind I’m certain he could somehow make it work in just one room. He is equally talented both indoors and outside.
Zev is responsive, reliable and came totally prepared. It is clear that he genuinely loves his work and his priority is making his clients happy and comfortable. He was flexible throughout the planning process and followed through after our wedding to make sure we were satisfied with our photos and professional photo album. It was really important for us to have more candids as opposed to being too heavy on the portraits, and Zev nailed it. The way he captured love and humor and joy from the day was pretty remarkable.
Zev brought me a huge sense of comfort on my wedding day. He has a great sense of humor and is on the ball no matter what comes his way. My wedding dress actually caught on fire during our reception (not making this up), and in a matter of seconds Zev appeared out of left field with safety pins (and some jokes) before any of us even had the chance to react! He can truly handle any challenge, whether it be a drunk groomsman or a neurotic mother of the bride.
My husband and I would highly recommend Zev to anybody. We are looking forward to working with him in the future.

He captured the most amazing pictures throughout our wedding day, and over a year later people are still commenting on just how amazing they are. I love Zev's journalistic style and elegance in everything he does. We used Zev & his team for my daughter's wedding in Boston and they were terrific. Beyond the quality of the end product, everyone was friendly, patient, and professional. We are getting married in Cali otherwise we would have him as our wedding photographer as well. He was very responsive to the emails. Wedding planning has a lot of moving pieces, but one of the best and easiest decisions we made was picking Zev as our wedding photographer. He is extremely knowledgeable in all things weddings, and is just generally very kind, thoughtful, (extremely) talented, and a pleasure to work with. As a couple in our early 30s, we've been to a lot of weddings and have seen a lot of wedding photos on Facebook, but we can honestly say that Zev is among the best of the best. I recommend definitely doing the engagement photos with him, so you can get to know him and the process and feel a bit more comfortable knowing what to expect on the big day. Zev does a great job at reading situations and jumping in or our when appropriate. He is also extremely organized and helps to identify all of the special pictures you may want to have on your wedding.

After the venue, Zev was one of the first vendors we booked and will never look back!! Zev was extremely professional and so much fun to be around!! We did an Engagement Shoot first because we are both camera shy…however, by the end of that we felt so comfortable in front of the camera and our cheeks hurt from laughing!! After our Engagement Shoot, not only did we feel like naturals in front of the camera, but Zev knew the tricks to get us laughing and feeling comfortable on our wedding day! We just got married on April 9, 2016 and everyone keeps talking about how amazing our photographer was!! He had everyone at ease the whole day, was extremely efficient in getting all of our photos in, and kept me calm when I became panicky! I hired Zev off of a recommendation from my husband's colleague. She told me that hiring Zev was the best decision she has made in her entire life besides marrying her husband - and I COMPLETELY agree! Right from the start Zev was so easy to work with. He's down to earth and just a genuinely great person. I was planning my Boston wedding while living in Asia, and he immediately told me not to worry as he and his wife planned their wedding from abroad too. He put me right at ease. Throughout my entire wedding planning process he was there to help - even outside of the normal photographer duties! He gave me other vendor recommendations or just some solid advice if I ever needed it. Zev is incredibly responsive and he turned our wedding pictures around in less than TWO WEEKS! Even before seeing the pictures I knew they were going to be amazing. So many of my guests kept commenting to me on how great of a photographer he was - he was everywhere, capturing each small moment, but was always in the background. My husband hates posed photos - and quite frankly - doesn't even really like wedding photos at all. But Zev changed his view completely and captured our day in the exact way we envisioned - in our non-traditional way of more artistic, not a lot of posed photos. Each photo just oozes the exact emotions we were feeling at that moment and he made us so comfortable - we were laughing the entire time. We loved his artistic eye and ability find shots that are out of the norm but even more beautiful than you could ever picture. Zev is by far the most talented photographer and person I have ever met and I cannot recommend him enough for your big day. He is just simply amazing!

Zev was easily the best photographer for us. He is so skilled in his craft and easy to work with. Very responsive to any questions we had and our pictures came out beautifully. We couldn't believe we could view our gallery on our honeymoon and brag to the other couples that we already saw our photos. Our entire bridal party was comfortable working with him and had nothing but good things to say. I plan to recommend him to everyone.

Zev was the perfect wedding photographer. He combined impeccable professionalism with a low-key attitude that we really appreciated. Throughout the planning, the engagement shoot, the wedding photos, and the editing process, Zev was consistently a joy to work with. There are not enough compliments in the world to put here for Zev Fisher. The man was a highlight of our wedding, seriously. Not only did he do AMAZING work, but his demeanor, friendliness, and overall calming force made our big day relaxing and enjoyable. When a lot of our vendors seems to not have their crap together, Zev took the lead and became a guiding force not only for the wedding party, but for the entire wedding venue. Zev is one of a kind, and was the best decision we made when it came to our wedding.

Hiring Zev was definitely one of the best wedding decisions we made for our big day. He photographed a wedding I had attended a few years prior and I remembered how gorgeous their pictures came out, so when it came time to do my own research he was the first photographer I looked up. A glance through his website portfolio clearly shows that EVERY wedding he does ends up with gorgeous pics, so he was definitely a front-runner when I went to meet with him. His professional yet fun, easy-going personality sealed the deal. Whether you’re someone who loves wedding planning or just wants to get through it, Zev makes the photography part a breeze – and enjoyable! Everything from our engagement session to our wedding photos to our wedding album came out beautifully, and he was so helpful throughout it all. Zev is truly the best and I very highly recommend him to anyone!

We are so glad we hired Zev as our engagement and wedding day photographer. He came so highly recommended that we went in with complete confidence. Zev is such a wonderful person and photographer! He's super professional, yet tries to get to know you personally to best fit your needs. I loved that we sat down a few times before the wedding to decide on which pictures were important for us to have and what we envisioned for the wedding day. Neither my husband or I feel super comfortable in front of the camera, but Zev did a great job of putting us at ease. On the big day he felt like a member of the wedding party, laughing with us and hanging out. It made the whole experience really memorable and enjoyable. We are so pleased with the photos he took, they came out beautiful and we love that we'll have these memories for years to come.

We’re getting married in Aruba but wanted engagement pictures taken in Boston. We called Zev because of the countless recommendations we received about him and his photos. Zev was AMAZING! He was personable and made the afternoon so much fun. The pictures arrived back in just a few days and the pictures (around 200!) were simply amazing. Communication with Zev was great. He gave detailed answers to all the questions we had before the session, showed up on time, and was responsive via email and text messaging. Great attitude and amazing pictures - I cannot recommend Zev enough.

Zev was definitely by far one of our favorite vendors for our wedding. Like everyone else already pointed out, he is super nice, friendly, and his photography skills are amazing! He made us felt totally at ease while taking the engagement and wedding photos. He took the time to meet with us twice prior to the wedding to help us with our wedding timeline and also thought of all the possible family photo combinations to take on the big day, which may not seem like a big deal at the time, but it was a huge help since the big day was so hectic. Also, did I mention Zev turns around the pictures in around a week?! I was so happy that I didn’t have to wait months to relive my wedding day again! I received SOOO many compliments about our photos. They look totally naturally, candid, and full of happiness. Zev captured our wedding day perfectly. My husband and I scheduled a session with Zev almost a year and half after our wedding. Unfortunately, our wedding photogragher (who was not Zev!) had to bail on our wedding at the last minute and we weren't able to get some of the great wedding day shots that we had hoped. We never did an engagement session, so my husband decided to do a post wedding "engagement" shoot in our neighborhood in Boston. Zev was recommended to me by my best friend since he had photographed her wedding and the pictures looked beautiful.
Zev was very responsive when I reached out to him and also very flexible. I wanted our shots to be in the spring when the cherry blossom trees were blooming in the South End. As any New Englander knows, the weather and therefore the blooms are hard to pin done so we ended up changing our date a few times so that we could have the perfect back drop for our photos. Zev was super flexible and easy to work with on the date change and even more so in person. Our shoot was done all around the South End and he used stoops, churches and trees as back drops. We also had a few photos taken at one of the local restaurants that my husband and I go to. It was awesome that Zev was able to capture pictures of us with our everyday life in the photos. Our pictures were ready within a couple of weeks and I really liked that Zev had a viewing site so that we could share with our family friends. Overall, he was great to work with and I would highly recommend Zev Fisher photography!

On our big day, we had SO MUCH fun taking pictures with him, he is so upbeat and easy-going. Zev was simply fantastic. We initially selected Zev Fisher Photography based on the beautiful shots we had seen on his website. It seemed to us that he was able to catch that perfect moment in each frame. Once we met him in person, the deal was done. In addition to taking artistically beautiful shots, he made us feel instantly comfortable - like old friends. Our instincts were right and we were so incredibly pleased with our photos. Zev not only captured the 'big' moments and gorgeous portraits, but he got those all important quieter moments of sheer joy - guests meeting each other for the first time as they entered the chapel, the two of us sharing a quick word before we got up to say our vows, etc. etc. etc. Nothing looked forced or posed in the latter examples. We used Zev Fischer for our wedding day photographer, and had the most amazing experience with him. From the beginning of the process he conducted himself professionally. He was extremely detailed, organized and available throughout the entire process to answer any questions and worked with us to help create our vision for our wedding day. He was creative and flexible in how we wanted our day to look and had amazing input and expertise about how best to accomplish what we wanted.
The day of our wedding felt seamless and relaxed. We were able to enjoy the morning of, getting ready, laughing with family and friends, because Zev had such control of the details. He was able to coordinate all our movements and worked so well with our other vendors that we had nothing to worry or think about other than enjoying the day.
Aside from his professionalism and coordination skills that took all the anxiety off our plates was his ability to capture not pictures, but memories. My spouse and I have found ourselves looking back at our photos quite often and immediately being brought back to our wedding day. The memories that he captured will live on forever and the gift he has given our family, I cannot thank him enough. I would highly recommend using Zev as your photographer for any event, because he will capture those memories for you to experience for the rest of your life.

I just received our engagement photo edits from Zev, less than a week from the date the photos were taken! I can't even believe how gorgeous they look and how quickly Zev turned them around. I am inlove with at least 50 photos which I would have never expected because I am so critical of myself. Zev was so easy to work with and that's saying a lot because I have never had professional photos taken of myself. We truly enjoyed our engagement shoot. We were on vacation visiting Boston and the shoot was honestly the highlight of our trip. He made my fiance and I feel so comfortable during the shoot! Zev's photo booth was an absolute hit at our wedding this past June at the Lenox Hotel in Boston. The booth, the photo printouts, props and everything else were all top-notch. The book provided with guest photos is a great memory that we will cherish for years and it gives us a glimpse into some of the fun moments that we did not see the night of our wedding. All of our guests had a blast in the photobooth and seeing some of the photos that came together will make us laugh forever.
From beginning to end, Zev was very easy to work with and put us both at ease leading up to the big day. As far as your photo booth vendor is concerned, look no further than the professional and reliable Zev Fisher Photography!

Zev is nothing short of amazing -- he's a true artist! We live in Chicago and planned a wedding in the Boston area. So we were at a loss as to how to find a good photographer. Zev was recommended to us and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice! From the very first meeting we had with him, he was personable, friendly, and enormously down-to-Earth! He told us step-by-step what to expect. He was especially awesome on the day of the wedding -- Zev has a wonderful team of associates that helped make everything come together. I was particularly worried that a wedding photographer would be obtrusive on the wedding day, but Zev was anything but this -- instead of asking us to pose, Zev waited for the right moment and seized it. He knew exactly when a good shot came along and was ready with his camera. When we saw our final online portfolio, we were all smiles -- he caught some beautiful moments when we didn't even know it! Zev is a true master of his craft -- this is not just a hobby he came across, but a real passion for him. We have some amazing memories from our wedding and they're all the more timeless because we had him as our photographer. Zev was one of our favorite vendors by far! Over the course of 9 months he was there to help us plan our special day. We did an amazing engagement shoot in which he was so accommodating and took perfect pictures for our save the dates. Being a very hands on bride, Zev went above and beyond and met with us two times before the wedding to ensure he met every one of our requests for our big day ( which he did and beyond). The day of the wedding he was able to get every picture we wanted and then some. He also had such a quick turnaround time getting us all the pictures within a week or so of the wedding. The pictures are just phenomenal and I am so glad I will always have these to look back on. Zev would be my number one recommendation for any bride looking for a photographer who will go above and beyond and provide the most beautiful pictures to treasure for a lifetime!

This is actually a review for Zev's photo booth service, The Portrait Lounge. I had some really specific requests and space constraints for our photo booth, and Zev was so fantastic leading up to the wedding. He was always responsive, interested, and most importantly, enthusiastic about the whole project. I had been in touch with a couple of other companies that really weren't interested in going outside the box at all, and Zev's whole attitude and personality was so refreshing. When my husband and I first starting thinking about our wedding, we knew that our photographer would be one of the most important choices that we would make. Zev came highly recommended from another photographer and our wedding venue coordinator, so we decided to meet with him to see if we were the right fit for each other. From the first time we met him, Zev was extremely professional while at the same time very relaxed. We got along great, and he put us at ease when it came to the whole photography process. Zev took our engagement pictures in an apple orchard in rural New Hampshire, and they were beautiful! He has a great eye and is very creative. When it came time to plan for the big day, we met with Zev a few weeks out and he made the planning process so easy. He knew exactly which questions to ask, and we left feeling very confident knowing that we were in great hands. On the day of the wedding, Zev and his second photographer were both wonderful. Zev was able to keep us on schedule (despite some unorganized family members) and we honestly had a great time hanging out with him during our portrait session. Zev returned out pictures to us digitally via a website very quickly (within two weeks after the wedding), and our thumb drive came in the mail in a beautiful box, with prints of Zev's favorite photos from the day. Our pictures are stunning - for two people who typically don't love having their picture taken, Zev made us look great. This is a true testament to his ability as a photographer to not only compose great pictures, but to also make his subjects feel relaxed with him. He did an amazing job of using the venue and landscape in our photos. We truly could not have asked for a better experience. Zev is an all-around great guy, who happens to also be an incredible photographer. Stop looking and hire Zev - you will not be disappointed!

It’s hard to overstate the talent and the spirit that is Zev Fisher. On pure ability alone, Zev was the clear choice. In our selection process, we did a thorough search for each photographer that we were interested in, looking for sites with photos from the full day as opposed to selections of the best shots in someone’s portfolio. That way, we felt that we had a clearer understanding of what the photographer’s limitations are, whether it’s difficulty with indoor shots, with candid photos, with posed shots. Zev was the only one who we felt could handle every situation well. And boy, did he. Our photos were absolutely gorgeous, and he managed to bring out the best of the scenery and capture all the important moments of the day.
And bonus points in that the pictures came to us in a timely manner, beautifully packaged.
But talent alone didn’t make for a great experience: Zev is SUCH a nice guy, and he’s so passionate and sincere about what he does. Granted, we felt like we really bonded with him through the process of planning the services, but beyond that, his personality really helps to facilitate the posed shots and put everyone at ease. Never stressed, always pleasant – to top it all off, with the experience he has, he had great suggestions for when we had a few mishaps.
We’re so glad that we prioritized finding the right photographer. He’s worth every penny and then some. We were so lucky to have him as our photographer, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for your event.

We honestly didn't even notice he was there most of the time! The portrait shots were beautiful, the candid shots of the ceremony and reception were the best. The hardest part for us is going to be picking and choosing which ones to frame. Zev is also the nicest guy and extremely easy to work with. It's not hard to see why he's rated one of the best on this site and many others. I can't recommend him enough.

We had the most wonderful experience working with Zev. From the moment we met him to discuss working together through to our wedding day and even afterwards, Zev was absolutely fantastic. His friendly and easygoing nature makes it so easy to work with him and he really made us feel at ease. We set up an engagement shoot (which I absolutely recommend doing) and it was a great opportunity for us to get used to having photos taken before the big day. Zev was not only a pleasure to work with, but his photos and final product are absolutely gorgeous! We had a wedding album made for us and a smaller duplicate version for my parents and both were stunning. I can't get over the quality! Honestly, we could not have chosen a better photographer and the way he captured our wedding day was so special. Thank you SO much Zev! We LOVED working with you!!

I don't even know where to begin describing how glad I am that we hired Zev as our wedding photographer. From the first e-mail as I began researching photographers, he truly set himself apart. When I sent my initial inquiry, he proactively sent me links to three full galleries, which included church weddings and winter weddings, which matched the type of wedding my husband and I were planning. That attention to detail spoke volumes. During our initial phone conversation, I was not only impressed with his professionalism, but really happy to learn what a fun and funny person he is. I knew right away that I would enjoy working with him and having him at our wedding. My husband, who's notoriously camera shy, has only great things to say about working with him in the planning process, along with having him at our wedding. While we did find the pricing of Zev's collections to be a little higher than other photographers we'd considered, we truly believed that the quality of his work would justify the difference. Having seen our final gallery, I truly feel we were right. The value we received is outstanding, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the final results. Our gallery was ready for viewing less than a week after our wedding, and we were able to spend a nice evening during our honeymoon taking our first look at the pictures. A few weeks after the wedding, we also received a lovely package with a handwritten note and our USB with all our files, both print- and web-ready. The presentation was gorgeous and getting the package was an opportunity to revisit the photos again.
If you're looking for a photographer who will deliver truly beautiful work, contact Zev. If you're looking for a photographer who will make you laugh and whose company you'll enjoy at your wedding, and who has the flexibility to get to you in a blizzard if need be, conctact Zev. I can't thank him and his assistant Todd enough for capturing our day so well.

Not only is Zev an amazing photographer but he was wonderful to work with throughout the process. He was always an email or phone call away and was flexible with meeting times. His prices were comparable to other local photographers and he was worth every penny! Our pictures came out BEAUTIFUL and he was quick to complete the album process. After meeting with multiple photographers for our very small and intimate wedding, we ended up hiring Zev and we are so glad we did. Not only did he understand just what we wanted from our very special day, but he made the entire process an enjoyable and memorable experience. From the get-go, myself, my husband, and our entire family felt very comfortable around him. He knew how to 'read the room' and make us feel comfortable in front of the camera even though we're relatively camera shy people.
His attention to detail and the quality of his work speaks for itself. But it was his is willingness to go above and beyond to do the little things that really made the difference for us.The communication and scheduling was seamless. And at the end of the day, the photographs were amazing!
Every guest at our wedding commented on how much they enjoyed our photographer. We were truly honored that he was willing to capture on film our very special day.

Early on in planning our wedding I knew I wanted a timeless, amazing photographer and Zev was exactly that. He is professional, kind, and funny, and was such a great choice for our wedding. He worked with us to capture every aspect of our wedding, including large group shots and jumping pictures :)
Working with Zev was so much fun - we planned our wedding from afar so even though we spoke to Zev on the phone, we actually only met him in person for the first time on the wedding day. This was a source of nerves for me but Zev was a constant pro. He jumped right in, putting my nerves at east and joking with the bridal party. I couldn't imagine the day without him and his assistant Todd.
The work product itself is spectacular. We will treasure these photos forever and I personally can't stop looking at them. Re-living the day through his pictures is the best gift we could have given ourselves and I am so happy we chose to spend our money in this way. Thank you Zev!!

As soon as we saw Zev's work, we knew we had to book him for our wedding. From the start Zev was extremely professional and helpful- even recommending vendors, venues and our amazing wedding planner. He showed a true interest in making our wedding day as special as possible and made us feel like we were his only clients. Our photos were ready in LESS than a week after the wedding and the photos were absolutely breathtaking. With so much talent in the Boston area, Zev truly stands out as the best.

My husband and I do not live in the Boston area, but went ahead and selected Zev Fisher without even meeting him because of his amazing photographs on his web site. Our wedding took place in Harwichport in Cape Cod.
Throughout the entire wedding plannning process (from hundreds of miles away), Zev was professional, responsive and provided great advice. On our wedding day, he was amazing. I was so glad to have a photographer who just seemlessly blended into the day and was unobtrusive. He was also great with dealing with family situations and being flexible on the big day. His assistant was also just wonderful.
We just recieved the link to our photos and we are so happy we went with Zev!

Zev was always professional, but his down-to-earth personality and sharp sense of humor won us over. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Zev was able to quickly put us at ease, and the resulting photos were beautifully relaxed and genuine. Throughout the planning process, Zev was always responsive and creative, suggesting locations for our photos and enthusiastically supporting our idea to pelt each other with colored "holi" powder for a portion of our engagement shoot. Zev's attention to detail also set him apart - throughout our wedding day, he found opportunities to capture little moments with his camera, whether it was beautiful macro shots of our rings or candid guests on the dance floor.
It's clear that Zev is a true professional and an expert in his craft, both in his demeanor with clients and his ability to capture a full-scale event while remaining completely unobtrusive. It's worth noting that Zev delivered our final photos much faster than we expected - less than two weeks after our wedding - and in beautiful packaging.

A short review will not do Zev justice - but I will try. First of all, Zev is beyond talented. I've never seen wedding pictures like the ones he took for us. Every single picture is a work of art. My friends and family members cannot stop commenting on how talented he is and how absolutely outstanding our pictures are! But more than that, Zev made the picture taking process so relaxed, easy and fun. When you meet Zev, you instantly fall in love with him. He is so down to earth, funny and smart. He was so much fun to work with - kept us calm cool and collected. The results showed in his outstanding work. What's more, we got our pictures just days after the wedding!!! I could go on and on about Zev, but I think you get the picture. He's simply the best choice in a wedding photographer - hands down!

Zev is AWESOME! He is so amazing from planning to the actual wedding day. We met ahead of time and he helped us plan a list of must have photos. This was so helpful during the chaos of the wedding day to make sure we had everything we wanted. He was also so helpful day of the wedding (it rained!) with organizing my enoumous wedding party. The pictures are fantastic, could not ask for a more professional (and fun at the same time) photographer! So happy that we chose Zev and I highly recommend that you do too!

Choosing Zev was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding process. I didn't realize how amazing photos could be until I actually worked with Zev and now I can't wait to work with him again.
The pictures themselves were so utterly incredible that I can't stop looking at them. Zev managed to capture the feelings of love and excitement throughout the day in a way that I didn't think was possible. He took time to get each of the portraits, details and group shots that I wanted - plus ones I hadn't thought of - but he also took candids that blew my mind. Zev was was somehow able to catch moments that I could only dream about someone catching and I truly believe each picture was more amazing than the next.
Pictures aside, Zev's easy-going, calming and fun personality were exactly what I needed on a totally chaotic day. Prior to the wedding, Zev met with us multiple times so we could get to know each other and he could get a sense of exactly what would make our day perfect. On the actual wedding day, he made sure we were on schedule while getting all the pictures that would make the most incredible photo album. I can't imagine having working with anyone else and wouldn't want to. I am totally obsessed with Zev!

Listen--Zev is actually the greatest wedding photographer ever. I do not exaggerate. I have been in a ton of weddings, two of which Zev photographed, and other photographers aren't even in the ballpark. Zev has an amazing eye and takes GORGEOUS photos, but beyond that is pretty much the nicest person in the world.
On your wedding day, your photographer is there constantly-don't you want someone who is as pleasant to be around as he is talented? Yes, you do. So stop looking and call Zev now because it doesn't get better than him.

I don't even know where to start about Zev. Let's start back when my husband and I (then fiancé!) were going through the photographer selection process.
Living in NY and getting married in MA created another layer of complication as we were unable to meet any of our vendors in person before booking, which put more weight on how our phone calls went. Zev was the fourth or fifth person we spoke with, and within five minutes he had us laughing. It didn't take us long to determine that he was "The One" :)
A few months before our big day, we decided last minute to make a trip back to Massachusetts, and only had a two hour window early in the morning to meet. Zev was more than accommodating, met us at a café in Cambridge, and walked us through EVERY detail. I mean everything. We left feeling confident and relaxed.
Day of, the wedding party was running a really behind, yet Zev kept calm and collected and cracked jokes the entire time to diffuse any stress we were feeling. I find it difficult to describe how special he made us feel.
What I think was most impressive was his turnaround. In less than a week we had our proofs! I would recommend Zev to any couple who wants not only a stunning product, but also someone who will help make their day magical.
