Alexa made me look like a beautiful princess!!! I am so so so so happy that I booked ZenaRose for my wedding. I can’t say good enough things about the salon and the girls - especially my amazing Alexa. I decided to get my hair colored and cut with Alexa prior to my makeup/hair bridal trial to allow her to get to know my super thick, curly, wild hair. I have A LOT of hair and many stylists get intimidated. Not Alexa. She knew what I wanted better than I did. By the time she was done with my hair, I texted my best friend and said “I don’t even need the trial anymore, I know I’m booking her.” I walked out of the salon and three strangers complimented me on my hair. At my bridal trial Alexa understood exactly what I wanted - it was so easy. The morning of the wedding she was punctual, calm, and ready for anything. I am so grateful that she was the first person I saw that day :) thank you for making me feel like a princess! I felt gorgeous all day long! ❤️

My bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done by Britt and Ri on my wedding day (in-salon package). I could not be happier with how it went! From my trial with Britt, I could see how much expertise she had, how well she worked with the rest of the ZenaRose team, and how willing she was to listen to my preferences. I am Asian and was a bit worried at how she would handle my eye makeup, but we tried a couple of different things and she totally nailed it! I also have dyed blond hair, and Britt squeezed me in for a gloss two weeks before the wedding to get the color just right (and it worked great). On the day of, Britt and Ri were NON STOP from the second we got there, getting us done even a couple minutes ahead of schedule. Each bridesmaid looked fantastic and I am still getting compliments about my bridal wedding day makeup. Best part was, both hair and makeup stayed in place all day! I highly recommend the team at ZenaRose, especially Britt, for your wedding makeup and hair! -

I hired Marina for my wedding in October and could not have been happier - I planned my wedding from the west coast and choosing the right stylist felt like a daunting task, so I feel lucky to have come across ZenaRose and their fantastic bridal portfolio! Marina came on site to do hair for me and my bridal party, and she brought along junior stylist Laura who was also fantastic and helped ensure we were all ready on time. Marina is fun and so unbelievably talented! I had only loose ideas of the styles that interested me and Marina was so great about interpreting those preferences. The trial session was in her ADORABLE salon and she was able to show me several different options for my hair, leaving me confident that I went with a choice that worked best for me and my dress. And, of course, she perfectly replicated it on the day of the wedding. She and Laura arrived punctually, their support staff at the salon was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with, and I could not recommend ZenaRose highly enough! -

ZenaRose did my makeup and hair for my wedding through the Bridal Package. While my makeup and hair artist was lovely to work with, I had an overall negative experience with ZenaRose as an institution and would not go back here again.
This started in my interactions with the manager at ZenaRose who is responsible for booking weddings. When I explained that I do not have a Bridal Party in my culture and that I would only be needing styling services for myself, she made dismissive and culturally insensitive remarks about this. She also constantly interrupts during communication and communicates in a condescending way. Based on this experience, I felt that ZenaRose was not well equipped to work with people from different cultural backgrounds, especially people of color.
I also asked for a certain type of lashes to be brought on the wedding day and that was not communicated with the stylist who only had less full lashes.
Regarding the actual service: my makeup was lovely but my hair was just ok and fell very quickly due to not using the right products even after communicating this post-trial. The cost is also exorbitant for the quality of the service and the bridal package is dramatically overcharged for the quality of the service and other local pricing. If we weren’t coming out of a pandemic and other choices were not booked already, I would not have gone with ZenaRose due to my negative early interactions with them during/around the trial. I do not recommend ZenaRose.
