  Absolutely gorgeous venue and everyone is so helpful and easy going.

  I highly recommend Zedler Mill! You cannot find a more beautiful venue for this price! Phyllis was always so nice and responded quickly to my millions of emails/calls. The caretakers, Frank and Charles, are both super sweet. The ceremony site is gorgeous with the river as a backdrop.

  There was no other place we could have imagined getting married than Zedler Mill. It is stunningly beautiful, comes with a lot of value, Phyllis is so easy to work with and so sweet and accommodating, and the venue itself is so unique and different. We took our engagements and my bridals there as well, because it was just so perfect. You won't find anything else as amazing as Zedler Mill - it has everything! It is historic, right on the San Marcos river, has two beautiful wood bridges, and a TON of space. We absolutely adore Zedler Mill and you will too!

  Zedler Mill was gorgeous for a December Wedding. No need for much decorating for the venue has a natural beauty that doesn't require much to make it look elegant. Cost was reasonable. The atmosphere is so hypnotic and relaxing it made for a stress free wedding venue. Guest just loved the venue. Several had said they were gonna go back for senior pictures and explore the museum. The river as the back drop was gorgeous. Loved this venue.

  Beautiful facility!! We had about 150 guests for my daughters wedding. The ceremony was held outside along the river and the reception was inside...there was plenty of seating and space for dancing! Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a party/wedding!

  I honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue for the price. Annie at the City of Luling was also extremely easy to work with throughout the entire process. While you have to do a little more work at this location since there's no on-site coordinator provided, it is a great option for the DIY bride or someone with the budget to hire a coordinator. I had so many compliments on the venue. The one shortcoming I had was finding vendors who were willing to travel (without charging a ridiculous fee) to Luling, but I was able to make it work in the end and not break the bank. The other issue that I didn't realize when I booked was there is a sulfur smell that can be quite prevalent due to the oil wells across the river. It was pretty bad on Friday night during the rehearsal dinner, but fortunately Saturday was breezy and you couldn't smell it at all.

  Picking this venue was a wonderful decision! Our wedding was beautiful and the location was exactly what we wanted. We wanted to get married outdoors and wanted a Tuscan feeling. We were able to get this feeling with this location. Getting married next to the river on a clear, crisp April afternoon was amazing! Planning our event was a breeze with this venue. They even pulled a huge tree out of the river that was collecting debris. This gave us the perfect backdrop!!! They were reasonably priced and worked well with all our requests.

Aside from the amazing hidden location, no one knew where this hidden gem was, the quality of the Mill itself and the natural beauty that surrounds it really stuck out to our guests. The price is unbeatable when compared to Texas Old Town and others alike. The size was great for our guest list of 120. I want to go back soon to host another event!

  We were looking for a location that would allow us freedom & flexibility with food & alcohol at a good value. We wanted a rustic vibe, and we wanted to keep everyone in one easy location.
  
  The Mill was incredible for all of this! They had 3 rules: 1. Don't nail anything into their wood. 2. Follow the law (TABC-certified bartender, event insurance, etc.). 3. Clear out by 1am.
  
  We were able to book the entire mill with tables and chairs, ceremony site, museum, sound system, everything for all day Friday and Saturday until 1am Sunday for only $1200.
  
  The pavilion is BEAUTIFUL. The wood tones are well maintained, the sound system is AWESOME and easy to use (we had a dj, but we used the sound system during setup and rehearsal dinner), and everything was in good working order and kept well clean.
  
  The Kitchen has 2 full fridges (we did not check if the ice maker works, just bought bags from Bucees), 2 ovens with stove tops, and TONS of storage and counter space. No dishwasher :-(, but there is a double sink for any necessary cleanup.
  
  A small building separate of the pavilion out back can be used as a bridal suite. We allowed the boys that room as a private place to drink, hang out, and store their tux stuff when they weren't using it. They loved it! A room at the back of the pavilion near the restrooms and kitchens has several mirrors and tons of outlets, seating, a sink, and great lighting. We used it for photobooth.
  
  Bathrooms are indoors & really nice & clean! The rustic theme carries through to them.
  
  The staff were all so nice and great to work with! Paul stayed on site with us all night and helped out. Annie at the office runs the reservations and she is super sweet. My only con is that you basically have to communicate by phone & snail mail - no email. They are old school!

  My wedding at zedler mills on Feb 11, 2017 was beautiful. The San Marcos river is so beautiful and the venue was spacious. Had about 350 guests and everyone had a beautiful great time! Reasonably priced as well.

  Poor A/C I would not recommond booking during the summer

  Let me start by saying the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! Whatever you do however do not book a summer wedding here if your expecting adequate air conditioning. It was over 100 on the day of our wedding and the air conditioners simply could not keep up. Our guests were miserable fanning themselves even inside. The bridesmaids took refuge in the bathroom as that was the only area properly cooling and the bulk of our guests left very early as no one was comfortable. All systems were looked at after we left and we were told they were running normally. My cousin is an A/C tech and was at the wedding and said he wasn’t surprised, as the venue has three sides of all single paned glass so the air conditioners simply can’t keep up with the heat. Additionally the day of our wedding they did not lock the gate across from the ceremony site as promised when you tour the venue, so there were people and vechicals directly behind us at our ceremony. They also did not provide the cocktail tables we requested and paid for. They did refund us for the cocktail tables as we never recieved them and $300 for the vit’s gorgeous, but word of warning if its a hot day
