I am SO grateful that we worked with Zac as our photographer on our wedding day! First of all, Zac is extremely communicative and professional. Like many couples we experienced wedding delays due to COVID but Zac was generous and accommodating throughout the whole process, and he coordinated the pre-event logistics and planning so smoothly. Secondly, Zac is pure fun to be around!! I imagine everyone's wedding day comes with at least a small dose of stress and jitters. But as soon as I put my dress on and went with Zac to the pre-ceremony first look photo session, he was so calm and warm and humorous and just turned that hour into a dose of peace and happiness for me and my husband -- it turned into one of my favorite parts of the wedding day!
And of course, the photos -- our photos turned out so colorful and joyful and authentic and fun! He got our dog to smile for the camera, he captured every precious moment, and he delivered a library of photos to us that was FULL of special memories without being too overwhelming. We truly can't stop looking at them!!

We had one conversation with Zac, immediately knew that he was the right choice for our wedding, and never looked back! His photos were incredible--the candid moments that he was able to capture blew us away. And as two people who were very nervous to be in front of the camera, Zac made it feel easy and natural. Truly, the hour or so that we snuck away with Zac to take pictures around the city was one of the most relaxing and fun parts of the wedding day. Plus, he successfully wrangled both of our large Catholic families, which is a feat in and of itself. -

Zac was the best vendor we hired for our wedding day. We selected Zac because we absolutely loved the photos we saw of his- full of so much color and life. On that element, he of course delivered as expected. Zac delivered further in ways we could have never imagined. We had our fair share of wedding day hiccups including a broken dress which threw off our wedding day timeline. Zac didn't miss a beat, playing wedding coordinator reorganizing our schedule and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, all well keeping everyone cool and in great spirits. We would strongly recommend Zac! -

When it came to finding a photographer for our wedding, I was really focused on the overall aesthetic of the photog's work (I have a fine art degree in photography so naturally I have a lot of opinions on this topic haha). There's some current wedding photography trends I'm not a huge fan of, and was having a hard time finding someone whose work didn't fall into the trendy scope --- until I saw Zac's images.
To me, Zac has the ultimate photographer superpower: capturing people expressing genuine emotions. Zac's photos are full of life, not only from their subjects but also from his style of bright, saturated, crisp imagery that upon reflection really makes you feel like you are living that moment all over again.
Incredibly image making skills aside, Zac is also just an awesome human being. He is genuine, goofy, and laid back and really helped me (a very high-strung person by nature) not feel overwhelmed by the hugeness of my wedding day. He is also wicked organized, and really helped us solidify our wedding say timeline.
Did I mention that this guy will even go to the top of a mountain for his clients? Because he will, and he did for us! And thankfully it wasn't so perfectly sunny that the photos would've been a blown-out nightmare to edit (but even if they had been, there's no doubt in my mind Zac would have done some high-level photo wizardry to still give us great images of our wedding).
You will not regret choosing Zac to shoot your wedding (you may regret it if you don't). You won't have to worry a lick about your photos because they WILL be amazing, and you'll also get the experience of working with a talented rad person that you'll want to be friends with after the bouquet is tossed. -

I fell in love with Zac’s work the second I saw it! I was beyond eager to book him and reached out to him more than two years before my wedding date. Zac’s attention to detail was amazing. I look at my wedding photos often (I’ve been married for over 3 years) and say to everyone that other than marrying my husband, Zac was the best decision I made on my wedding day! He was so easy and fun to work with. Made sure to check off all of my must have shots and then added others I didn’t even know I needed. I don’t know the exact word on how to describe his photos but they are just so appealing to the eye. I will continue to recommend him to anyone asking for a photographer. -

Is it normal to have very strong feelings about your wedding photographer more than 5 years after your wedding?
Yes. Yes it is if it was Zac.
He’s professional but personable, makes you feel (and look) like a million bucks and is really just the person we trusted the most through the whole event. He had great recommendations for other vendors, and always supported our decisions. His service is great and he’s a great person. You’ll be lucky to have worked with him. -

Zac shot our wedding in 2016 and he was (and continues to be) the absolute best. He put us at ease and made us laugh throughout the day, and he delivered absolutely STUNNING photos. He and his assistant worked effortlessly together, found the most beautiful settings for photos, and got every shot we asked for and so many more. Zac also hooked us up with the Danger Booth which meant even more fun and incredible photos of our family and friends! It was important to us to work with someone who genuinely cares for their clients, community, and silly dogs, and that is Zac through and through. He really is as amazing as everyone says! -

Zac is the best
It’s been 2+ years since Zac photographed our wedding and I still look back in awe of how Zac kept my incredibly anxious self so calm on our wedding day, herded my chaotic family, and somehow got my awkward husband to look good in photos. We love our photos and look at our album constantly. He also did an incredible job shooting our engagement photos with our dog and horse and somehow got everyone looking at the camera at the same time - a feat that I thought was impossible. Having Zac as our photographer was the best decision we could have made. -

A Covid wedding superhero
If you're thinking about hiring Zac, DO IT!
After our large ceremony was postponed, we had trouble finding a photographer that we liked that could jump in to cover our very last minute mini wedding in Boston. Zac came to our rescue!
Having Zac at your wedding feels like having a good friend there—he has that special gift of being able to make his subjects feel calm and natural (you know, let's say when a bride was losing her mind with anxiety minutes before the first look). He also has an incredible eye for amazing shots—we were in downtown Boston got the event and it was so wonderful to get these unique shots all around the city my husband I met in and fell in love in.
Zac made our alternative wedding complete, and I can’t thank him enough for the wonderful work he did—I’ve never felt so beautiful! -

It’s never too late to sing the praises of Zac Wolf, right?! We were married the summer of ‘19 and Zach kept us all in line. We were so grateful for his calm and gracious attitude while still getting things done and keeping us on track. He even rode his first zip line with us! Thanks for the laughs and not to mention the positively stunning photos which we will cherish for all the years to come. I cannot thank Zac enough
Writing these reviews about the very few people I worked with for our elopement/micro wedding/taking back this insane year keep leaving me at a loss for the correct words. I'm having a difficult time because these people were so beyond words incredible that I don't know what to say that will do them justice. Zac is a true champion at his career. I found him on IG a few years ago and knew whenever I got married, I wanted him to document it. We connected so easily (star wars nerds will do that) and I knew this was the right choice. Nevermind him rolling with us changing our wedding plans numerous times, him skyping with us multiple times - he's just an all around awesome dude.
Now - the day came. I was an anxious wreck - I just wanted to see my partner for our first look so I could. breathe again. Zac was so beyond supportive and calm - and that continued throughout the afternoon. He was quick to make jokes, puns, shoot the shit about star wars and tattoos, and tease us in the perfect ways. I am not a confident woman - I'm not a fan of being in front of a camera - but he made me feel at ease in a way that I didn't expect. He even made my shy mother comfortable in front of the camera. He went above and beyond for us and I'll always be so grateful. You won't ever regret working with Zac. The photos are the thing you'll have for generations and Zac's work stands the test of time. It's bold, somehow effortless, and emotional. I've loved his work for years, so having his work that we will share with our kids and grandkids someday is something I'll treasure forever. -

As my one year anniversary approaches, I am sitting here looking through Zac's photos of the most perfect day. I cannot give a higher recommendation for Zac, and I am excited that whoever is reading this gets to work with him, too! Not only is Zac an incredibly talented photographer, but he is kind, professional, and loves what he does. That is clear from the photos, as well as the many conversations I had with Zac in preparation for the big day. Zac understood us from our first conversation, and by the end of that first call, Zac made us feel so taken care of and so special. Our wedding had a lot of moving pieces, and he completely captured the essence of our weddings in his photos. Unlike other wedding photographers we researched, Zac does not shy away from color and truly worked to capture us as we were, in the moment. It was so fun having Zac be apart of our day, his humor and energy was everything!
As a recent bride, I know how overwhelming it is to search for the right vendors for your wedding. Zac is an incredibly talented and kind photographer and you will be so happy if you have the opportunity to work with him. He has such a gift of capturing YOU in those special moments. -

This review is a long time coming! My husband and I knew going into wedding planning that our photographer was one of the most important decisions we'd be making. And yet we both felt completely clueless going into it! I can't quite remember how I stumbled upon Zac's Instagram account during my search, but boy am I glad I did. I was immediately struck by the vibrancy of his photos and how he was able to capture couples in such a natural and candid way.
From the moment we met with Zac the first time, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day Zac was incredibly friendly, super easy to reach, and made us feel so very comfortable. Zac was professional and fun at the same time and was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. Our photos came out absolutely amazing and we could not be happier! What started as what we thought was going to be the most difficult decision turned out to be the easiest and best, and we can't thank Zac enough. You can't put yourself in better hands than by choosing Zac to photograph your big day! -

Zac was amazing. Who you decide to hire as your wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions to make. It's how you'll preserve the memories of your special day... a day that will go by way too fast! If you want to make this an easy decision, go with Zac.
Aesthetically, Zac's photography is unparalleled. Every single photo looked fantastic. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and he is incredibly easy to get along with. He and his second photographer, Allie, didn't just take pictures -- they captured all the raw moments and emotions. Looking at our wedding photos felt like reliving our wedding day.
The one tip I share with couples planning their weddings is to make sure their photographer is organized enough to keep the wedding timeline going. Zac did just that. he had a friendly assertiveness during our family photos (hard to do -- there were children involved) and he and Allie kept the day moving seamlessly.
Words can't describe how utterly perfect our wedding photos came out and how great Zac is to work with as a person. Also he has a very cute cat and dog. -

Zac pretty much had us sold with his “pizza pick up line”. ;) My husband found him through a google search and we feel it was the most serendipitous find in the whole planning process. Zac was the only photographer that we met with as we knew right away his positive, upbeat energy would be a perfect fit. As many people have noted his work is stunningly vibrant and naturally candid- providing "all the feels".
Aside from the incredible photos that he produces, Zac walks that fine line of being a true professional while at the same time he feels like a friend you’ve known forever. Communication was always very prompt and concise; he makes it very easy to do everything from payment to providing day of details through online forms and also checks in over the phone a week or so prior.
We didn’t have a wedding planner, but the ‘day of’ Zac in a way fulfilled that role. As soon as he arrived to the bridal suite I had a sense of relief that the day would go smoothly. He is an expert on timelines and made sure I remembered to eat, pee, etc, and even though we were running a bit late assured me the ceremony of course can’t start without the bride!
During family photos he was like a drill sergeant in the best way possible- able to effectively wrangle my large family of rowdy, distracted brothers and sisters so that we could stay on track. At one point there was a dress snafu which left some serious stains on the train, however, Zac was completely calm and reassuring that it wasn’t the end of the world.
6 weeks later when we received our photos I was completely blown away, he captured every element of the day perfectly! It is such a joy to look back on the day through his lens, especially some of the moments (ie:cocktail hour) we missed. I just cannot say enough about how beautifully they came out- we will cherish them forever. Zac was the best decision we made, he is worth every penny! -

Zac has a unique and talented eye for shots, and after looking at his portfolio we knew immediately he was exactly what we wanted in a wedding photographer.
We began with the engagement shoot, and we were a bit nervous as we don’t consider ourselves very photogenic. But his friendly nature and banter put us at ease and resulted in amazing, natural-looking photos. Plus his eye for whimsical and urban backdrops was a ton of fun, as we wandered through our neighborhood and discovered murals and cityscapes we had never noticed before.
As for the wedding itself, Zac and his second shooter were perfect - responsive to any requests, but also in the background capturing wonderful moments while we hardly noticed their presence. Post-wedding, Zac expertly and quickly prepared our photo book. And the photos surpassed all our expectations. Thanks so much Zac for giving us such wonderful lasting memories of our wedding day!

Faith Sent on 09/20/2018When choosing a wedding photographer, we didn't have the best experience at first. We had a couple photographers bail and were just a little late in the game. Then someone suggested we check out Zac.
After reaching out to him, he responded within 24 hours letting us know our date was available and immediately set up a Skype call to chat about expectations. Within moments we knew he was the perfect fit. He was professional, easy-going, accommodating and we talked through everything for an hour until we felt totally at ease about our 190-person multicultural wedding. (We did hire a second shooter, btw)
Come our engagement session, everything was put to the test. My now husband being camera shy was super nervous but Zac made the whole session feel like a walk in the park. Literally. It was like we were just spending time with each other and him while he was shooting away and the photos were a total dream! We got compliments from all our family and friends saying that he captured our relationship perfectly.
For the wedding, he helped us arrange our timeline in a way that we would get the most out of our day. For which we are SOOO grateful. Day-of he arrived early, and again, put everyone at ease in front of the camera, taking several candid shots that really tugged on our heartstrings. One thing we really wanted to show was the Indian and American cultures blending together and he did that better than whatever it was we were imagining in our minds.
Even post-wedding, he's been so great to communicate with, had a quick turn-around with the wedding photos and is working with us to build our album exactly the way we want.
We couldn't be more happy with choosing Zac for our wedding. If you want someone who's smart, super talented, fun and easy to work with, he's the guy for you! -

O Sent on 09/19/2018Zac was available, professional, easy to like, and full of energy. When I asked for his opinion about wedding logistics (first look, receiving line, where to have the wedding party regroup), he was able to provide his professional opinion as a photographer. From engagement shoot to wedding day, Zac found the perfect light and angle to capture emotion and action.
My husband and I do not normally take lovey-dovey pictures. I trusted in Zac completely to help us become comfortable in front of the camera to get the romantic wedding shots we wanted. He is goofy and quirky and was willing to share about himself to make us comfortable.
The weather forecast showed that it could rain all day. Zac assured us that, either way, we would get all of the pictures that we wanted. He never made us feel like the weather would have a negative impact on our photo opportunities. He was aware and realistic, yet seemed ready for plan B., if needed.
Zac was very clear ahead of time about what we could expect from him and what he needed from us - including a list of any specific picture that we wanted. This was very helpful. On the wedding day, he was flexible when we wanted to add more or switch things up a bit. Nevertheless, Zac kept us on track and kept guests moving so that we could finish with formal and group photos and enjoy the day with our guests.
Being a wedding photographer is clearly not “just a job” for Zac. He is an artist and is passionate about his work. I also really liked that he was recently married. I felt that he was genuinely excited for us to begin our own marriage. We are so glad that he was able to capture our day and we are very happy with our photos. -

Deanna Sent on 02/10/2018We were recommended to Zac by a friend and were fortunate to have met him in his home and got to see a bit of his personality and style! His style is bright and full of life, capturing the slices of life between the posed moments. Our wedding was a bit non-traditional and Zac was willing to be flexible with our odd time of year, daily schedule and wishes for the day. He was organized and professional throughtout the whole day capturing all the details and elements that were important to us. He collected a list of our wants, needs, family dynamics and details about the event to capture and he nailed it. Since we were off season, the speed to delivery was remarkable and we were so happy with the result. There are so many pictures we absolutely love that’s it’s too hard to pick what we want to print, share and favorite. Before he left for the night, he checked in and made sure we picked up any last minute thoughts and pictures.... even gave us a little surprise Polaroid!

We knew of him through other friends and family and he was the first person we booked for our wedding this past July after clicking through his portfolio. Zac is not your typical wedding photographer. He will get your portraits and family photos, but he will also have you climb onto rocks and into gardens and capture the most beautiful, colorful, energetic photos of your day. We got married on the 3rd of July, and a few minutes after arriving at the hotel, Zac asked us if we were ok with shooting off some roman candles he and his assistant bought. We knew we had a winner immediately. Over the course of our wedding day, Zac and his assistant ventured onto rocks jutting into Lake Winnipesaukee with us, hopped on a vintage boat with us to cruise around the bay, and brought us outside to experiment with fireworks. He was friendly, creative, and captured hundreds of amazing photos. I recently put together an album from our wedding to give to our parents and it looks like a magazine. We could not recommend Zac more! -

Danielle Sent on 10/12/2013When looking for a photographer, I knew that I wanted someone who would capture the candid moments and find more interesting angles and perspectives than those traditional tacky formals you see all the time. When I stumbled upon Zac's portfolio site, I was very impressed with his work and I knew he was just what we needed for our wedding.
Zac understood our situation - that my fiancé was in the military - and that we weren't sure when we would be able to get together for our engagement session photo shoot. In the end, he fit us in the actual week of our wedding for the shoot, and took the initiative to search out an amazing park and shipyard location. The results were stunning. He was incredibly easygoing and personable. He simply asked us personal questions about us as a couple and our wedding plans while he shot photos of us being our natural selves. This allowed for the photos to be a true reflection of who we are together.
The weather on our wedding day was extremely cloudy and rainy at times - but it didn't matter. Zac and his assistant Alex showed up extra early to scope out our venue (a golf course), and still managed to find an outdoor covered location for our formal group shots. After our ceremony, we took out golf carts and explored the course for our photos. Rather than settling for cliche golf themed shots, Zac basically read my mind before I even had to mention the barn, the wood bridge, and the woodsy areas. We were on the same page the whole time. He also was able to capture ALL of my DIY details that I was so proud of.
Overall, I could not be happier with the photos from both days. Even my husband (who could care less about photography) was impressed, and laughed along with me when we went through the photos from our reception. Zac and Alex captured all the moments that we wanted - and the ones we never expected! I would DEFINITELY recommend him. -

From the minute we sat down and met Zac, we clicked and knew right away that he was the perfect choice to shoot our wedding. In addition to his amazing portfolio of work, he's friendly, honest and funny. You spend almost your entire day with your photographer and it's important to have someone with a personality not only that you feel comfortable with but will help you through any stressful moments of your day and Zac is just that.
The photos Zac took of our wedding day are amazing and really tell the story of the day. He is a true artist and finds those moments you're not posing for that end up being the most touching and meaningful photographs. Zac really listened to our wants/concerns for our photos and cared about us as a couple. On the day of our wedding, he helped us/made us laugh in a few difficult situations. He's become a true friend and we couldn't imagine our day without him. -
User779453 Sent on 04/20/2012It's difficult to put our experience into words, because it was so much more than words could express. Zac had shot a wedding of an acquaintance of mine. His style was unique and original compared to the typical posey, contrived portfolios that I had been seeing. Opinion amongst everyone, was split down the line between Zac and another run of the mill, over-priced photographer that I had been looking at. I'm glad I trusted my instincts.
Zac brought an "experience" to both our engagement and wedding photos. Upon meeting Zac, his persona is super relaxed. This is great when you're not used to having someone in your face with a camera. He knew how to read us as a couple and couldn't have captured our moments any better. His spontaneity was a breath of fresh air. There were times, during our engagement session, where we just chatted and enjoyed the view. It wasn't all business, it was a new friendship and it was fun!
On our wedding day, Zac was the most accountable person working for us. No one could possibly say one negative thing about his performance, or his team, who were also rockstars! They were in all the action so much so that it was like they were our guests. They really knew how to roll with the punches and our pictures reflected that. At the end of the day, that's all you have to recall all the fun things that happened when you weren't around. I feel like at some weddings, the photographer can't be found for impromptu shots and they leave halfway through the ceremony, but they were there all night with smiles on their faces. I wish I had taken more advantage of the photo booth earlier in the night. Once people got in there, you couldn't get them away! Definitely worth it.
We splurged with our photo package, as this and the band, were the most important to us, but that got us quite far with Zac's options. The deliverables for your photos are quick. I got my photos months before some of my fellow brides. You have full rights to them as well, which can be hard to come by. You paid for them..why shouldn't you be able to have them. The more you trust Zac to do what he does best, the better off your photos will be. I'm just so happy that all my friends and family found him to part of the group, as we had.
