  My wife and I are from California and we planned a destination wedding in Washington state in October of 2016. We came upon Travis's info through wedding wire. Travis and I first spoke over the phone, and then later with my wife, and we hit it off immediately. Travis informed us that he has done hundreds of events, including multiples weddings at our venue (The Edgewater House), and that made us feel very comfortable. After understanding our music preference, he gave us multiple lists to help us select specific songs for our ceremony and reception. After that, we communicated mainly over email but he was always very responsive, usually replying that same day.
  The day before the wedding Travis called to check in on us. My wife and I were a bit frazzled as our planned outdoor wedding was expected to be rained upon so we were scrambling to make some last minute preparations. I met Travis the next day at our venue, he was right on time and looked very professional. He did all the setup himself, including a wireless mic for the ceremony, and had everything ready to go even before the wedding started. And what can I say except that he was one of the main reasons why our wedding was such a success. What really sets Travis apart is that he doesn't just play the set music lists, he does all the announcements as well, and really helps to keep up with the timing of all the events. He also took some music reqests but made sure to ask us if those songs were okay to play. My wife's cousin also wanted to sing a song for us and Travis was quickly able to fulfill that request.
  I really can't say enough good things about Travis and his service. I would recommend him over any DJ for any event I've been to. I can't thank him enough for being an integral part of our awesome day! 10 out of 10!!!

  Travis was a true professional each step of the way, and helped us make decisions on music that aligned with our tastes and mood of the evening. I highly recommend working with him to any couple needing a top notch DJ for their wedding or other events.

  Travis is hands down the best! I was pretty nervous about how the whole day was going to go (as this was a home wedding with minimal staff), and from the moment Travis picked up the mic I didn't have to worry about a thing! He maintained the flow of the whole evening. I knew right away he had everything handled and we were able to relax and enjoy our night. He was professional and yet managed to keep everything light and entertaining the whole night. We received SO many compliments from family and friends, we feel so fortunate that Travis was there to make sure the reception was perfect. None of us had to think about the timeline once, he had everything handled the whole way. He met with us weeks before hand to make sure he knew what we were going for, and he nailed it. He managed to stick to what we wanted while at the same time adjusting things based on reading the crowd. Best party I've ever been to. Great personality, and reasonable prices for a priceless memory. Thank you Travis and Your Sound Entertainment, our day absolutely would not have been the same without you!

  Out of the whole wedding preparation experience, picking Your Sound Entertainment was the best decision I made! Communication was a huge issue with other vendors. Not with this company. I had open communication and was always responded to with in a day. Travis came to my home to go over everything that I filled out online. He was very attentive and helped me through the process of all the minor details. He was very thorough and very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with the DJ/MC leading up until my wedding. The day of my wedding couldn't have gone better. The DJ stuck to every song and playlist that I had previously chose. They also played great music in times where I hadn't selected any. Travis was super funny, candid and not corny at all!! This company was seriously a huge part of why every thing went so well. Travis communicated with my MOH so well and paid attention to every detail! I will recommend this to all my friends and family!

  I would absolutely recommend Your Sound Entertainment to anyone that is looking for an amazing DJ!! I booked Your Sound for my sisters wedding after searching for just the right fit for what I was looking for. Travis, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and that the happy couple could have all that they wanted when it came to the music. I undoubtedly can also admit that because of Travis, my sister's wedding went off without a hitch. He had great crowd control, did amazing directing the reception and had a very casual and laid back, yet directive attitude about the entire event. He was very flexible with the requests by the Bride and Groom and the pricing was amazing - no doubt you will not find a better deal with the high level of service with anyone else but Your Sound Entertainment. I have never experienced such amazing DJ services from anyone else before. My friends and family were also raving about how professional and amazing Travis was.   I would like to recommend Shawn from Your Sound Entertainment as your wedding DJ!
  
  We interviewed and compared multiple DJs for our event as we really wanted to choose someone who was outgoing, fun, enthusiastic, and organized. When we first met Shawn he went over details of our wedding and he gave us some paper work that listed out things detailing our day and song selections.. things that I would not have even thought about but felt good he was thinking ahead and brought these items to my attention.
  
  As the wedding grew near I had needed help putting together an event timeline and Shawn went out of his way to meet with us and offer suggestions and comments based on his experience. He helped make our wedding fun and offered ideas for a fun/entertaining grand entrance, how to dismiss buffet tables, etc.
  
  Our wedding was 250+ guests and we were really impressed how smooth Shawn was able to manage everyone on his own so smoothly as he kept everything on track with timing, did a great job MCing (fun and enthusiastic), playing the exact music we wanted (including special music for grand entrances, first dance, money dance..). As the wedding came near I kept changing a few things that I kept sending over to Shawn including timeline and music changes so I was very impressed on how organized he was to keep all that together and have our day go exactly as we had expected. Thank you Shawn!

  Thank god for Your Sound Entertainment! I was almost in tears 2 months before our wedding when our original DJ unexpectedly cancelled on us. After processing what had happened, we contacted Your Sound Entertainment on a Sunday, thinking that they wouldn't get back to us until the next day, however, the owner called us back within 30 minutes and quickly assembled a team and put us into their schedule. I was SO impressed with their ability to handle a negative situation and turn it into a positive one for us. From that point on, the DJ that would be performing at our ceremony and reception answered calls and emails promptly, putting us at such ease. My husband and I live in Houston, Texas and got married in Seattle, so planning was a bit challenging, but when a company is as professional and experienced as this one, it wasn't even an issue. We weren't able to meet with our DJ until a week before the wedding, but our first meeting went so smoothly and we knew we could trust him to give us a great experience. On the day of the wedding, he was set up and ready to go, played exactly the songs we requested and kept the party going all night long! I had multiple people coming up to me throughout the night telling me that it was the best wedding they have ever been to and that they were having a blast! I would definitely recommend Your Sound Entertainment to anyone looking to have a great, easy DJ experience.

  Your Sound Entertainment was awesome for our wedding! When we first budgeted our wedding, we had no idea how expensive good DJs could be! When we first met with Shawn, I was a bit skeptical because of how great the price was, but he was very professional and patient with us. On the wedding day, Shawn was on time and had everything set up like we had planned. The music selection was fabulous for cocktail hour/dinner, and got even better as the night went on (we love to dance!), but everything was kept appropriate for the ages that were present. Everyone at our wedding had a blast and I would not hesitate to hire Shawn and Your Sound Entertainment! If you love to dance and are operating on a tighter budget, they are definitely for you!

  Out DJ/MC Tyler was great! We could not have asked for more! Everyone had a wonderful time and Your Sound Entertainment took care of all the planning and formalities. They played all our music we wanted to here and got people dancing all night. Thanks!!

  Our DJ/MC Shawn was perfect! We had a wonderful time and he helped us plan everything from start to finish! We could not have asked for a better service from Your Sound Entertainment.   When we first hired Tyler from Your Sound Entertainment, without a personal recommendation from anyone that we knew, we a little unsure of what to expect, and slightly nervous since the DJ plays such a big role in the success of a wedding. However, in the time leading up to our wedding we were able to meet with him a couple of times and he calmed our nerves. Tyler did an amazing job both during the ceremony and the reception. He never drew much attention to himself and really worked in the background allowing my wife and I to take center stage. He was very flexible when we decided to change something last minute, and never missed a beat. He knew his equipment very well and when we had a glitch with the sound because too much power was being used he was able to make a quick adjustment to some of the equipment and avoid any further issues. Tyler also did a great job of transitioning from easy listening dinner music to more upbeat dance music later on in the reception get people in the dancing mode. The only negative I had, was that he did not show up until after I had to start getting dressed. I felt a little stressed out because I did not have a chance to go over things one last time while he was setting up. In the end, that did not end up being a big deal because he got things set up just as we had discussed at our last meeting. One last note. Our budget for a DJ was $1000 and Your Sound Entertainment fell well within our budget. If we ever needed a DJ for an event in the future, we would definitely use Your Sound Entertainment again.

  I was referred to Travis from friends. I initially called him and left a vm. He returned my call the following day. We agreed to meet on a Saturday at 2pm to go over everything. Travis was 20 mins late and he looked like he was hung over. During the meeting he was disoriented and it seemed like he was struggling to focus on the task at hand. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. The day of our special day Travis was about 50 mins late!! He didn't call or answer any of our calls, he just showed up. He wasn't alone either, said the guy was a person he was looking to hire so he was training him. Travis didn't mention this at our initial meeting nor in any emails or calls. So with him running behind caused everything to run behind. Travis once again looked hung over; eyes red, bags under his eyes, not shaved, clothes wrinkled. NOTHING ABOUT HIM WAS PRESENTABLE OR PROFESSIONAL. I was so humiliated!! During the wedding and reception he forgot alot of things that we wanted him to do/say and he kept putting the music on auto and stepped away from his station. He was mostly found outside in his truck...doing what I have no clue. He looked like he was trying to get naps in. His helper guy pretty much just sat on the side on his phone. My husband and I had to take time away from our family and friends and speak with Travis about how everything was going. We let him know that we were not happy at all and he simply apologized and said he had to get back to his station. After 2 hours I ended up in tears and ending our special night earlier than originally planned. Travis pretty much didn't have a problem with it ending early; he seemed really relieved. He packed up and was gone within 20 mins. I think Travis was on something either the night before and the whole time of him working. His eyes were red but were glossy and dilated. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TRAVIS TERRY!!

  I contacted Your Sound in July of 2017 to be my DJ at my wedding in July 2018, everything went great till after we each signed the contract and Travis took my deposit. Since then I've tried to contact him several times and have gotten no answers.

  DO NOT USE TRAVIS TERRY! As recent reviews have stated, Travis Terry, the owner of Your Sound Entertainment, cannot be trusted! I booked Travis in January or so for my wedding in October. I initially interviewed him via phone and he sounded very professional and knowledgeable. After I booked him, we communicated several times through email and everything went smoothly. Two weeks prior to the wedding, my then fiance and I met with Travis in person to discuss final details. Travis was about 50 minutes late to the meeting, which actually didn't both us that much because we knew there would be traffic. During the meeting, Travis was again nice and knowledgeable. I did notice that his eyes were very droopy, like he was almost falling asleep while speaking. By that point, I had paid the full amount for the service, which is pretty typical for most vendors (vendors usually want full payment by 1-2 weeks prior to the event). After the meeting, I sent Travis a follow-up email. By the following week, just 4 days before the weeding, I still didn't hear back from Travis. I sent him another email on Thursday and still did not hear back on Friday, the day before the wedding. I ended up calling him on Friday afternoon and left a voicemail to ask him to call me back. When I didn't hear back on Friday night, I started to get worried. One of my bridesmaids and my coordinator called him on Friday night too and neither was able to get through. Travis DID NOT show up at my wedding! Fortunately, I was able to find a last minute DJ through Sounds Unlimited. Again, DO NOT HIRE THIS VENDOR! I am very disappointed that I have not heard back from Travis at any point after the wedding either, and was never given any explanation for his disappearance.

  Travis did not show for a very large corporate event here in Seattle, for a well known e-commerce retailer. He was paid in full ahead of time, and everything seemed fine, until he didn't follow up a few days before. After many phone calls, I got a hold of him a few hours before the event, with him reassuring he would be there. Well, I should of known better, but he didn't show. This was beyond embarrassing for our company. Do not book him! Safe yourself the worry and hassle that I am now dealing with!
