Beautiful venue and great event coordinator!

We had an October wedding at the Youghiogheny Country Club, and it was a great experience. Both the ceremony and reception were at the venue. We were lucky enough to be able to have an outdoor ceremony in their beautiful lawn area. The scenery on the golf course is also gorgeous for photos. There are many different options within their multiple wedding packages, including more than enough food choices. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional event coordinator Melissa. She was great with communications and was very helpful before and during the wedding day. We are so glad we chose the YCC for our wedding day.

New Years Eve

First and foremost I need to shout out Chelsea Calabro from the Yough. She was so amazing throughout this entire experience. She made it so easy for us to plan the most perfect day we could have ever imagined!! The Yough outdid our expectations. They went above and beyond for our needs and there were many! We wanted so many extra things and different requests that would make normal Venues cringe but not Chelsea and her team at the Yough they took all our requests and made them realities. I mean what venue allows their entire 30 person bridal party to get ready on location??? The Yough does!!! We are so thankful that we decided to have our wedding here and we are grateful for the help along the way. Thank you again Chelsea and Staff at the Youghioney Country Club it was legit THE MOST EPIC NIGHT EVER!!!!

We absolutely loved everything about our wedding here! Chelsea and her staff were so nice to work worf! She was always there to answer any questions and spent the whole day of the wedding with us. The venue was absolutely beautiful and I loved how we could do everything there from the ceremony to pictures to the reception. Thought it was very reasonably priced too! I would highly recommend everything about the club!

We had our daughter's wedding at the Youghiogheny Country Club on 8-11-18. Chelsea Calabro was very helpful and professional and made our event the best possible! She worked hard to make our day go flawless. She is very hands on, before the event, during the event, and after the event. The other ladies that worked our event were also very friendly and helpful. There isn't anything negative I can say about our experience and I will highly recommend this venue to any future brides/grooms out there! The food was very tasty, and DJ Chris knows how to keep the party going! So much fun! We danced all night! We also held our rehearsal dinner there and it went perfect as well! Thanks Chelsea for making our special event perfect!

The Youghiogheny Country Club was the perfect venue for my wedding. Their all inclusive package made wedding planning very easy and stress free while allowing me to customize my day to my vision. The venue itself was beautiful, the food was delicious, the entertain (DJ) was top notch, the centerpieces and seating chart/signs were perfect and the staff was wonderful. Chelsea Calabro was super helpful leading up to the event and even more helpful the day of. She kept everything organized and flowing at the perfect pace. She made sure myself, my husband, our wedding party and guests wete taken care of throughout the entire day. She truly made sure I had the perfect wedding. It's been a little over a month since my wedding and my guests are still talking about what a wonderful event the wedding was. They can't stop raving about the food and entertainment. I would highly recommend the Youghiogheny Country Club for anyone searching for the perfect wedding venue.!

The YCC was absolutely amazing for our wedding reception! We are from the area but now live 3.5 hours away. The staff was so great at helping us plan from afar and answering all questions and calming all our fears. The all-inclusive package was great and every aspect of it was delivered with the highest quality and professionalism. The food was delicious, the cake was stunning, the DJ was the best of any wedding we had ever been to! I would recommend YCC to any engaged couple!

we had a great time!!! the staff was helpful to all our guest. The food was awesome all our guest raved about how good the food was. Chelsea was incredible she made everything perfect, your waitress & waiters are awesome. DJ Chris Rocked the House, all our guest had so much fun and danced all night. Curt the Photographer did a great job at capturing all the great moments....

Judy and Tawnya from YCC were awesome. They were so helpful. Tawnya would answer emails in a timely fashion. Judy was there the day of my wedding reception and she was so awesome. They set up all our decorations perfectly. The room was perfect. The food was fabulous. The servers were great. All around a wonderful experience and I cannot thank them all enough, I would definitely recommend youghiogheny country club to family and friends. They were truly personable, professional, helpful and just all around wonderful.

I, from a very young age, began to plan my perfect wedding day. I never could have imagined that in choosing Youghiogheny Country Club as my reception venue, that all of my childhood dreams would come true. I’m not sure where to begin in detailing how absolutely perfect YCC is, but I’ll give it a try. I’ll begin with the woman who was truly the light of my wedding vision, YCC’s wedding coordinator Tawnya. I haven’t checked the list recently, but I’m almost certain she’s up for sainthood. From our very first meeting, I knew YCC is where we would be having our wedding reception. Unlike so many other venues we visited, she spent HOURS walking us through YCC and describing, in detail, all that they had to offer us as a reception venue. We were hooked. From then, Tawyna stream lined our entire reception. She put us in contact with the vendors included in our package, and ensured every idea I pitched to her was knocked out of the park. She was the calm in my Type-A storm, and was always quick to reply to my ridiculous emails. I’d choose this venue time and time again for the chance to work with her again. On to YCC itself- this venue is gorgeous. From the fireplace when you walk in, to the original staircase around the corner, this YCC bursts at the seams with elegance and charm. The flow from room to room, and the large dance floor, made our evening flow seamlessly. Then there’s the food. WOAH. We served a buffet style dinner complete with carving station, and it certainly did not disappoint. Our guests are still raving about how delicious it was, and how our food was HOT. {WIN!} The packages offered by YCC are out of this world! From our custom linens and paperware, to our centerpieces and wedding cake, the vendors included in our wedding package were so professional and kind.

The Youghiogheny Country Club made my wedding a dream come true!! Every idea that I had in my mind for the big day... Tawnya Rockwell, Judy, and the other staff were able to make my ideas come to life! After viewing several different venues for our wedding, my husband and I chose YCC because they had EVERYTHING for the best value. Plus, it is BEAUTIFUL inside and out!

Our wedding package INCLUDED our DJ, centerpieces, and our beautiful cake and yummy dessert bar. The YCC also had the perfect, picturesque outdoor ceremony that my husband and I were looking for... Beautiful scenery for pictures.

I could talk forever about the food... Great portion sizes and super yummy! Price was reasonable too! We really enjoyed the tasting as well.. it helped us narrow down our menu options. Rehearsal dinner was just as yummy!

Every time I emailed Tawnya or Judy... They replied right away. Every time that I was worried about something or needed to change something.. They were SO accommodating. They did everything for me on the big day. They were super organized, and it made me feel less stressed. Plus, BONUS... Tawnya and Judy have fantastic personalities. They're so nice and very funny!

I almost forgot to mention how COOL the bridal suite is... It was so nice to be able to have a place to get ready with all of my maids and flower girls. It's a large space with beautiful mirrors and seating for getting ready. We also loved that the guys were able to bond and get ready downstairs in the locker room of the YCC. It was a nice space as well.

The ballroom is large and was so breathtaking. I could tell the staff worked very hard to set everything up and have it perfect for the big day. The guests could not stop talking about how pretty the ballroom was, especially with the uplighting.

Tawnya, Judy and staff members were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were caring and made my day UNFORGETTABLE! I would choose the YCC all over again :)

After a few months of searching for a venue, we scheduled a meeting to see the Youghiogheny Country Club. After touring with Tawnya, there was no question in our minds that it was where we would be getting married. We booked the Gold Package, and besides deciding to marry each other it was probably the best decision we have ever made.

I'm sure that anyone taking their time reading some of these reviews keep seeing the name Tawnya and how great she is. Tawnya will be your best friend and guide you through the whole wedding process. Any question or concern she will be there, and she will also catch any mistakes you yourself make and fix them for you before you even have a chance to stress about it. She is amazing, but it does not stop with her. Judy is also simply amazing and will go above and beyond for you. The Valet, Bartenders, Servers, Waiters, Chefs and all other staff I am failing to mention are the best workers you could ever hope for on your wedding day.

I could not rave enough about their meals. They were able to accommodate all of our guest diet restrictions including Gluten Free variations of the Beef Tenderloin we had. We had a sit down dinner and they managed to serve 258 warm plates!

Every vendor in their package is also top notch! All these people work perfectly to make sure you have the best day ever!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at YCC on 9/5/15 after initially selecting a smaller, more DIY venue that we realized wasn't going to work out. Tawnya was mentioned by name in almost all of the venue's reviews on this site, and we found out why- she was unfailingly friendly, responsive, and ultimately interested in making sure we had the best possible day we could have. About a month before the wedding, Judy came on as the new Wedding Coordinator, and Tawnya continued meeting with us through the transition. Judy was also friendly and made sure everything happened the way we wanted. They were AMAZING at taking all of our decor and setting it up in the entrance and reception rooms with very little direction from us. My bridal party and I LOVED the suite where we got ready in the morning, and the adjoining room full of couches and chairs was a comfortable place to relax before the ceremony, and during cocktail hour before our introductions. Tawnya also worked with my dad to set up a surprise slide show for the father/daughter dance, which I'll remember forever, and all of our guests who ordered the Oak Barrel Aged Steak told us that it was the best steak they'd ever had at a wedding, hands down! The rest of the food was great too, and everyone on staff was so pleasant, and several congratulated us as we packed up at the end of the night. Having the ceremony and reception in the same place was totally the right call for us, and we were pleasantly surprised that even though club members were using the pool near the outdoor ceremony space, we didn't hear any distracting noise at all! I have high praise for the YCC and all their staff, because it's really one-stop shopping for most wedding needs, especially if you go with the other vendors they contract with. We used Brides and Butterflies for our centerpieces, and Signature Desserts for our cake and other desserts, both of which came as part of our YCC package. 5 glowing stars for YCC!

I am not going to lie, we looked at a lot of venues for our wedding ceremony/reception before the YCC was recommended to us. We knew it was exactly where we wanted to have our big day the moment we walked in and met with Tawnya. The YCC is truly a one stop shop! I was so worried about being stressed or forgetting something but Tawnya made everything so easy! She's so organized and makes it easy to find the perfect fit wedding package, from the linens, food, alcohol, bakery, dj, decorations...everything! The country club offers a romantic feel with touches of history throughout. All of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they have been to in a while. It was traditional/modern/rustic. We had access to the entire country club which was so incredibly nice when everyone arrived. Our guests did not feel crammed in one room...everything was spread out with a great flow for everyone! Including the bridal party! The bridal party suites made our day so easy and relaxing. Everything at our finger tips. I got ready in the upstairs bridal suite with my 7 bridesmaid and some family with room to spare! My husband got ready downstairs with his groomsmen too. Which made it easy for the photographer to snag pictures of everyone without running around to different locations. The food was delicious and with such a broad menu selection to choose from. DJ Chris is professional and knows how to handle a crowd. It was hard to find anyone without a smile and having fun. We recommend the country club to anyone planning a wedding, Tawnya can truly make your dream wedding come true.

We are so glad that we chose the Youghiogheny Country Club for our wedding and reception. They were so professional, kind, courteous, and fun to worth with from the very beginning. The place and surroundings are just beautiful, and so are our pictures! We worked mostly with Tawnya Rockwell, and she was as excited as we were about our wedding and reception. Everyone involved, including the wait staff, were helpful every step of the way. There wasn't anything we asked for that we were not allowed to do. There was a taste-testing dinner which was so much fun and really helped us decide what to serve our guests. The package we chose included our dj, (Motions Productions), our cake (Signatures Bakery), and our table flowers (Brides and Butterflies.), making our package very affordable. We were taken out onto the golf course for photographs, and they are beautiful! I would definitely recommend the Yough. Country Club to anyone.

A + rating for Tawnya and Youghiogheny Country Club. My daughter’s wedding reception was held at Youghiogheny Country Club on 7-25-15. We cannot express how pleased we were with our experience. Tawnya and Judy (the wedding planners) were excellent to work with and professional. We felt completely at ease with their expertise during the entire process. They handled every detail of the reception from placing the decorations as we wanted, to making sure everything ran smoothly, and working with their staff to accommodate all of our needs. When we arrived they had us (parents) look at the ballroom to make sure it was to our satisfaction (before the guests were allowed in) and it exceeded our expectations! We had a sit down dinner reception, and all of the food was cooked perfectly and served hot. The cookies were displayed beautifully along with the hors d’ oeuvres and dessert table. Each and every member of the wait staff was courteous, polite and accommodating to our guests. DJ Chris was included in our package and kept the music going all night long. His wife Jennifer assisted him and they both kept us informed the entire evening. The entire evening was beyond our expectations. We would recommend Youghiogheny Country Club to our friends and family members for any event they may have. Thank you Tawnya, Judy and the entire staff! We were 100% satisfied.

Tawyna and Judy did an amazing job with all the details! The setup was gorgeous, food delicious, DJ Chris is awesome!!, and the use of the golf course for pictures was so fun! We had so many wonderful compliments on how nice everything was and everyone was talking about it for weeks! I cannot think of one thing I would change... It was perfect! My wedding day was absolutely perfect!! Working with Tawnya and her staff made my wedding everything my groom and I could have dreamed of. She is so sweet and makes you feel so special on your big day. We had an outdoor ceremony and our reception at the Yough and everything was wonderful. Tawnya was so so supportive for both myself and my Groom all day and made sure to check in with us multiple times throughout the day to make sure we didn't need anything. Our wedding reception held at Yough CC was outstanding! Working with Tawnya and Karen nothing was going to go wrong! They do a tremendous job of giving you the best! Our guests were in awe of the event. The color scheme was perfect and was everything the bride hoped for. It was beautiful and gorgeous! From appetizers to dinner and afterwards, everything was delicious! The wait staff, bartenders and valets were kept busy all night long (we extended the reception) and did an outstanding job for us. The outside area was set up for guests also and nicely done. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!

I went with the YCC as my venue for my upcoming wedding. When I toured with Tawnya and saw the facility I knew I had found where I wanted my upcoming wedding to be and didn't have to look anywhere else. Everything Tawnya has helped me with thus far in all my planning has been amazing. We had my ceremony and reception at the Youghiogheny Country Club on 04/11/2015. I was the type of bride that needed to have everything as organized and have it done well ahead of time. Having my reception and ceremony at the country club did just that. Tawnya was wonderful. She was flexible and worked through everything with us even when I was making changes two days prior to the wedding!!! Tawyna made suggestions and worked thorough everything with us to make sure every last detail was covered. Karen, the banquet manager and all the staff were fantastic. We came back from taking pictures and were starving! Tawyna and Karen but together some of our appetizers and cookies and brought everything to us. Our package included the cake, DJ, flowers and of course venue. Having the venues include theses other vendors made everything easy to access and know who we were working with. On top of that there was no need to worry because of all these vendors were top notch. We heard nothing but compliments from our guest all night long. Thank you Tawnya , Karen and all of the staff for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!!

The YCC & Tawnya Rockwell made all of our wedding dreams come true. When I found the Yough online it had a huge packet of information that answered every question that we had. I read the info & was fully convinced that this venue was ours. I emailed Tawnya & inquired about setting up a meeting; she quickly replied & was so great at working with our tight schedule. When we arrived, Tawnya gave us a tour of everything in the building and went over our options. The packages were amazing, so many ways to customize & make it your own. As soon as we got in the car we decided that this was 100% our venue! Throughout the entire process we felt more & more happy about our decision. Tawnya had amazing recommendations for everything that we wanted & the package that we chose was perfect. We completely customized our centerpieces & cake. Tawnya was amazing, every time we had a change or question she was so quick to respond. Truly the best wedding professional that we have ever dealt with. The amount of attention that she put into her packages is unreal. Literally every single question that you could have is answered there, & if you have one that isn’t she is on top of it. On wedding day everything went as planned, except the weather of course! We were so happy with the setup, food & beverage. The flowers were amazing & the DJ was the best either of us had ever heard! We felt so special during our day, we had a personal butler who ensured that we had drinks all night, they made sure to only get the foods that we liked on our plates & even sent us home with leftovers! We had the perfect day & it would have not been possible without Tawnya & her team at the YCC. I will recommend the Yough to all of my friends & family forever. I plan to use them again for any future event that warrants such a beautiful venue. The Yough & Tawnya not only gave us the best wedding day ever but they also made us feel like a part of their family. We love the Yough!

We wish that we could give 10 stars! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at the Youghiogheny Country Club and we could not have been happier! Our first meeting with Tawnya lasted almost 2 hours. We made sure that we had questions to ask, so that we wouldn't forget anything. At the end of the tour, we didn't have to ask anything since she covered it all as we walked around. We knew when we left that day, that we were calling her to book. The package included so much, it took a lot of stress away from having to make centerpieces or find a bakery etc... We cannot say enough great things about Tawnya. She was always there if we had any questions and made sure that we had all the information we needed. We can honestly say that we were not stressed one bit about how the day was going to go. We have received so many compliments on EVERYTHING!! The room was beautiful, the food was great, and everyone had a great time! We cannot thank her enough!! :)

We got the gold package that included alcohol, food, linens, center pieces, cake, DJ, and so much more! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Tawnya and her staff. Tawnya was so easy to work with and so accommodating with everything I wanted. And like my mom said the day of my wedding "Whatever Tawnya gets paid, she should get double". That is 100% true! Our friends and family keep raving that it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to! I would absolutely recommend the Yough Country Club to anyone!

We loved loved loved the yough. They took care of everything and it was incredibly beautiful. Tawnya was the best person to work with. Her and the team at the country club were the most pleasant and helpful people I have ever worked with. They made our wedding day exceptional and so very lovely. We couldn't thank them anymore.

We had our ceremony and our reception here. Tawnya who helped us out was amazing! She is very helpful and just great. Everything was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better day. It was beautiful outside and everything was set up how we wanted. The staff was very polite, nice, and helpful. They just did such an amazing job setting everything up and it was beautiful.

My daughters wedding was at the YCC on 9-27-14! Tawnya Rockwell (Controller & Social Director) did a spectacular job. She took care of every detail to make sure this was the perfect wedding experience. I have to say, that the compliments from our guests are endless. The staff was exceptionally courteous and friendly! The venue was beautiful and the food was delicious. Not to mention the music by Mckeesport's DJChris and his charming wife Jennifer! They are awesome. Everyone loved the music and had fantastic time dancing the night away. Thank you YCC! What an event! I only wish we could do it all over again!

I can only hope that someone would ask me where to have a wedding s0 that I could highly recommend Youghiogheny Country Club. Our package included our cake and DJ and florist. This was so nice not to worry about finding these vendors since so much goes into planning a wedding. Every single staff person was so accommodating to our entire wedding party and guests. They just were wonderful and made our wedding perfect. The spacious bridal suite was so nice to have from early in the morning until ceremony time. Tawnya was so wonderful to work with from the very beginning of planning until the end in pulling it all together. My wedding went smoothly because of Youghiogheny Country Club. My guests told me that this was the best wedding they ever went to and they also could not say enough about how good the food was too.

My husband Jeff and I just had our wedding at youghiogheny country club on 08/09/14 it was absolutely amazing. The coordinator tawnya Rockwell was wonderful! She was so helpful and responded to questions we have very quickly! The food was amazing and the set up! Our wedding was more then we could ever dream of that it would be!

I can't say enough good things about Tawnya!! She did absolutely everything I asked with perfection!! I thought that living in West Virginia and planning a wedding in PA was going to be stressful, but thanks to Tawnya it never was! I couldn't be more pleased with how our wedding went! We had such an amazing wedding day thanks to Tawnya and the Youghiogheny Country Club staff, vendors and venue! Everything went flawlessly and we had nothing but positive comments from our guests on the service, atmosphere, food and vendors! Choosing to go with the recommended florist, bakery and DJ that was included in our package was the best decision we could have made! Every appointment with each of them and Tawnya was so positive and enjoyable!! The country club was gorgeous, the desserts from signature desserts were absolutely delicious, the flowers and center pieces from Brides and Butterflies were amazing and DJ Chris Halaszynski made our guests never want to leave the dance floor!! I highly recommend the Youghiogheny Country Club to all engaged couples who are looking for a wedding day that they will never forget!!! (And your guests won't forget it either :)) Thank you for making our day the best one of our lives!!

Tawnya went about and beyond all of my expectations!!! I could not have been happier with the outcome of my wedding. The food was absolutely amazing and all of my guests were very happy as well. She made me feel special from day one until the end of the wedding!!!!

I had my reception here two weeks ago and it was just amazing! Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations! The food was amazing. We had the broiled cod with the cranberry and orange relish, Romano chicken, potato croquet, penne Alfredo, and mixed grilled veggies with a balsamic reduction. The package we choose included the alcohol, the cake (Signature Desserts), the DJ (Motion Productions), and the centerpieces (Brides and Butterflies), as well as a day of coordinator. Tawnya was just wonderful to work with. She helped make everything go smoothly and was just a pleasure to talk too. My husband and I both are glad we choose YCC because everyone was so very nice and helped to make it the perfect day for us! Thank you Tawnya and YCC for the wedding of our dreams!

I had my daughters wedding there last night. And it was simply beautiful. Food was awesome. Drinks where great. I was a little disappointed in the fact that I was under the impression I was able to bring home the left over food since it was a buffet and I did pay for 5 guest that didn't show. We had a candy and popcorn table, I brought the candy and jars in a box to them and they displayed them beautifully. I didn't have enough jars for all the candy I had brought and Tawaya went out of her way to find extra. Even thou a few of my guest commented to me that the staff had bagged some of the popcorn and candy for themselves without my permission. These complaints are small and I would recommend this venue to anyone. The place looked beautiful. There was a issue with seating, some of my guest sat at the wrong table, Tawnya was right there to correct the problem without stressing me out about it. There was two kinds of liquors that there supposed to be included in the package that wasn't out, when this was brought to the bartenders attention, they immediately took care of it. Tawnya is wonderful, she made my daughters day special and very memorable. The gold package is the best way to go. Signature desserts make the best cake and pies. Very happy and satisfied with YCC. Tawnya I cannot thank you enough for the best stressfree time of our lives.

I apologize if there was a misunderstanding. As far as the two liquors not being on the bar in the beginning of the evening, the bartender did apologize that left them on the shelf and corrected the matter immediately. We do apologize for that. As far as the staff eating popcorn and/or candy, I did not see this occurring but I took your word for it and I did warn the staff of this and we will use this as a learning experience. As far as taking care of the seating arrangements - that is what I am here for! This was a second marriage for both of us and we picked the YCC because of its proximity to our church. We visited four times prior to the wedding for information, tasting, linen selection and final details. Tawnya and her entire staff were very helpful and knowledgable. Our reception could not have gone any better. As part of the gold package, we also used Motion Productions, Brides & Butterflies and Signature Desserts, all of which I would highly recommend. The entire staff at YCC was absolutely wonderful! The place was beautiful; the staff did a wonderful job setting up our tables and making sure it was the way I wanted it. Yough CC did a wonderful job hosting my wedding. They offer packages that include all vendors you need, to smaller packages where you can chose your own vendors. I went with the all inclusive package, and that made things very simple for me! They directed me to a great florist, yummy bakery, and a really awesome DJ who fueled our dancing families all night. I didn't have to worry about all of the vendors corresponding with YCC because they already knew them. Tawnya, our wedding coordinator, was very helpful..any questions I had she got back to me right away, and was very easy to work with. The staff are all very nice, and everyone loved the food. They also allow you to take pictures on the golf course which gave us wonderful photos. I would recommend them to anyone!

Tonya was exceptional in her role as reception planner. She was always available for any questions that I had, and was very pleasant to do business with. The packages that were offered were very reasonably priced, and there were no "surprises" like additonal fees or price changing at the last minute. I would recommend the YCC to anyone with great confidence. The vendors used with the Gold Package were all professional and easy to work with, including DJ Chris, Brides and Butterflies and Pastries al a carte. My husband and truely enjoyed our special day and feel our guests did as well.

Our reception was perfect. Tawnya, the controller, is awesome to work with. We got the gold package and the DJ, desserts, and centerpieces were all amazing. I highly recommend spending the little extra to have the YCC do it all for you. I would not change a thing about my wedding day!!

I just recently had my dream wedding at the Youghiogheny Country Club. Tawnya was so kind and helpful through the entire planning process. Her staff was courteous and professional on the day of the wedding. All my guests raved about how delicious the food was (creamy princess soup is a must)!!! I recommend their Gold Package, which includes everything you need for your wedding! It really made things stress-free and super easy. We also had our ceremony at the club, at their outdoor location. It was absolutely beautiful! Tawnya helped decorate and made sure everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding and we are so happy we went with the Youghiogheny Country Club, for both our ceremony site and reception!

My daughter's wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more. The wedding planner (Tawnya) is amazing. We had the gold package and this made the planning a whole lot easier. The huge bridal suite is beautiful and comfortable with the hors d'oeuvres and drinks served to the bridal party. The vendors associated with the YCC are top of the line. Signature desserts made the most beautiful cake which also tasted great, DJ Chris was awesome, and the centerpieces by Brides and Butterflies were beautiful. The ballroom was absolutely beautiful and looked like something out of a fairytale. The food was so delicious. Every employee we encountered throughout the night was professional and pleasant. The reception totally exceeded my expectations. Tawnya made the whole process so easy and really made the day something that we will always remember. I have received so many compliments on everything. I honestly can not say one bad thing about the whole experience. I would recommend the YCC to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

The gold package was by far the best deal we found in the area. All the recommended vendors were amazing. Tawnya was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We would highly recommend YCC to anyone getting married. From the staff to the food everything was exceptional.

To say that the Youghiogheny Country Club gave me my dream reception would be unfair, because my reception turned out to be more beautiful than I had even imagined it.
YCC feels like an “all-inclusive” venue with tons of amenities (depending on your package). We had a gorgeous, huge bridal suite to relax in before the reception began which was pre-stocked with our hors d’oeuvres and had people waiting there to bring us drinks. YCC practically plans your entire reception for you. With the gold package, the wedding cake and DJ were included, as well as a vendor for centerpieces. You get all this at a (literally) unbelievable price. I went from being extremely stressed out to not having to worry about a thing after meeting with YCC (and Tawnya).
The vendors that YCC are affiliated with are top of the line. The baker, Signature Desserts, was amazing. My cake was GORGEOUS and perfect, just as I imagined, and tasted even better than it looked. The DJ (DJ Chris, Motions Productions) was awesome. He has great taste in music, and there was barely anyone sitting once he started up. Finally, the woman who does the centerpieces (Brides and Butterflies) is so creative. As far as the overall décor, once all the linens were put on and the centerpieces put together, the YCC looked like something out of a fairytale. My sister kept telling me I had a “David Tutera wedding”.
I know everyone always think they have the best wedding that anyone’s ever been to, but I REALLY believe that with my whole heart. The best part about it is that I feel like I barely had to do any work to get this reception. Tawnya made the whole process easy, and made sure to check on me throughout the night to make sure that everything was perfect (which it was). The entire staff of YCC was fabulous. I honestly don’t think I could say one bad thing about any part of my experience. I would recommend anyone and everyone to have their reception at YCC.

We recently had our wedding reception at the Youghiogheny Country Club and could not speak higher of the service, decorations, staff, food, and overall experience that we had on our wedding day. The wedding coordinator is absolutely wonderful and she goes above and beyond to make your day exactly how you want it. I dropped off my decorations, including everything for the card table, cookie table, front entrance, and guest tables and she put it all together perfectly. We had so many compliments from our guests regarding how beautiful the reception was. I recommend having your reception at the YCC for any future brides. It is an elegant location and you will love the wedding coordinator!

Thank You to the Youghiogheny Country Club Staff for a wonderful Wedding Reception! I am always getting compliments from friends and family saying that it was one of the nicest and most classy weddings they have ever been to. Everyone was so kind and so helpful! They have this great option that helps take a lot of the stress off of the bride and groom while planning. I was able to get the DJ, the Centerpieces, the cake, chair sashes and covers, and the ballroom rental and food all for one price. It really helped when trying to control the amount we were spending and cut down on the stress level for me. Also DJ Chris H was the best DJ I could have asked for. No one wants a boring wedding reception and he made sure that everyone was dancing and having fun the entire night! I also want to mention that the golf course was a beautiful setting for our photographs. There were many places for the photographer to get exceptional shots.

The food was excellent we got so many compliments afterwards on how great everything was. If we would have to do it all over again I would definetly have it at Youghiogheny Country Club. I had both my wedding ceremony and my reception here and could not have been more pleased. Our wedding coordinator at the YCC was awesome and the staff was extremely professional and courteous! I selected a package that included the DJ, cake and centerpieces and the vendors that the YCC used for my particular package were also wonderful to work with (it made my wedding planning so much easier!). I could not recommend the YCC enough to anyone who is planning and wedding and looking for a nice, affordable venue outside of the city!

I had the best wedding everrrrr here..people still talk about it!!! We had our reception here on 11/12/11. We went with the gold package. Tawnya, the wedding planner, was a sweetheart, very easy to work with, and excited to help us plan our special day. She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls. She turned a very stressful time into a pleasurable experience. YCC was willing to work with us and take our ideas into consideration. We followed a timeline provided by YCC that kept on us on track at all times. It was very helpful. The vendors were excellent! DJ Chris was outstanding and kept the dance floor packed. He was very professional and not tacky at all. He sat down with us and we gave him our personal song choices and music list. The photographer/videographer recommended by the country club did a great job and were reasonable in price. The cake from Pastries ala Cart was to die for!!! Our guests raved over the food, service, top shelf drinks, staff, & cake. The country club was very clean and our reception hall looked stunning. The center pieces and chair covers were perfect in an Autumn color scheme. The bridal suite was cozy and comfortable. We were treated like royalty:) Tawnya kept everything organized and on schedule, yet we never felt rushed. The food tasting was a fun little event. You were able to bring some family members along so it felt like a night out to dinner! If I could remarry my hubby I wouldn't hesitate to go back to YCC. Everything was perfect that day because of them. Obviously some people can't be pleased no matter how hard you try but they are definitely worth considering. Good luck!

I actually used to work at the YCC (more than a decade ago) and was always impressed with the staff, service and charming elegance of the club. That's why my husband and I decided to have our wedding ceremony there in September of 2011. We were incredibly happy with the food, servers, and Tawnya even hooked us up with a fantastic DJ, bakery and floral/decorative arrangements. I honestly can say I wouldn't have had our reception anywhere else-- especially for such a reasonable price. And the location wasn't too far from Pittsburgh! Very convenient for out-of-town guests. A beautiful view, delicious food and an overall fabulous experience.

YCC was a wonderful place to have our wedding, it was very elegant, the food was great, the staff were wonderful. All our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had. Tawnya was great to work with as were the other staff. Also the wedding cake from Minerva in Mckeesport was delicious and a beautiful cake.I would highly recommend a wedding there.

My son had his wedding reception at the Youghiogheny Country Club
on 11-10-12. Everything was Fantastic!! Tawnya and Jennifer
the Wedding Coordinators were exceptional!!. The food was excellent
and the choices were top shelf. The entire staff catered to our every
need. The DJ was very good and did not try to be the "Star" of the
show as I have seen at many other weddings. His music selections
were great and the volume of the songs was just right. I would recommend this venue to anyone. At first I thought the price was a little high but the the value you got made it well worth the cost.

I attended a wedding at the Youghiogheny Country Club on Saturday, October 13, 2012. I was quite impressed with the venue. The wedding was quite enjoyable and the music was great too (DJ was provided by the venue). The item that stood out the most for me was the portion size of the entrees (they were huge) and the service temperature of the food (everything was piping hot). I heard only great things from others that attended also. Great job!

Amazing is all I can say. From day one of my planning to after I got back from my honeymoon, Tawnya couldn't have been a bigger help. Everything was perfect thanks to her.

YCC was a great place to have both the ceremony and the reception. Tawnya, the coordinator, is wonderful at planning and organizing both the ceremony and reception so that everyone in the bridal party and the family knows what to expect on the big day. We dropped all of our supplies, like the centerpieces, cookies, pictures, favors, etc...and they handled the rest, and it was absolutely beautiful. The bridal party gets treated great, and Tawnya is so accommodating, and she will do everything she can to make sure your needs are met. As if the venue itself wasn't enough, the food is incredible as well. We would highly recommend them for both your ceremony and reception.

We had our wedding at the YCC and went with the gold package---it was so nice to not have to worry about finding vendors for cake, dj, and centerpieces. At first since it was so inclusive it made me wonder about the quality of these BUT they were all so amazing!!! I got so many comments from the food, to the dj, to the set up of the venue. Tawnya, the coordinator made everything run so smoothly and was easily and readily available throughout the planning process. We couldn't have picked a better place to have the best day of our lives---the YCC rocked! The only mishap was one of my vegitatrians didn't get served her sep. meal but she was able to eat other items off of the buffet so it was not a big deal! WE HI
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE FOR YOUR BIG DAY!

The Youghiogheny Country Club was wonderful to work with in planning and hosting our wedding reception. The venue is beautiful, the food is great, and the staff/service is exceptional. Never once did I feel like my wedding wasn’t their top priority (even when it was a year out). You truly get so much for your money with the YCC and they make your event everything you want it to be. You have so many options when it comes to the food, linens, centerpieces and paper products that are included with the YCC wedding package that you just can’t beat it! While we were planning our wedding our main contact with the YCC left, but Judy and Karen became our new contacts and they never missed a beat! We took our photographs on the golf course and they came out beautifully. I would highly recommend the YCC for a wedding reception, it was a one stop shop that still allowed you to make it what you wanted!

Everything was wonderful. The entire staff was so helpful. They are a little strict with their timelines the day of, but they do it because they have a lot of experience and know what works. They were doing tours while I was getting into my dress and stuff, special moments like that you don't want people walking in and out. But they were respectful about it and asked before coming in and only brought the potential bride in. The food was delicious the drinks were good, our ceremony was wonderful. Great overall experience

The YCC is such a beautiful place. The ceremony site was so beautifully decorated as was the reception site. While we were having the ceremony outside, the swimmers down below were even respectful, and that took a load off my mind. The reception was absolutely breath taking. DJ Chris also did a great job providing great music to listen to and dance to all night long. Young and old alike enjoyed everything.

Our food was served an hour late. Our food was cold. I had 4 tables of guests complain to me after the wedding that their food was cold or under cooked. The young people of the serving staff, with a few exceptions, are unprofessional and disrespectful to their head waitress. The bathrooms were incredibly filthy. The coat check was a waste of money. The YCC needs to add a sign that states "Valet Parking". Don't be fooled by the attractiveness of the venue... it's not all that it's cracked up to be anymore and the "Gold Package" is a total waste of money... you can definitely get a better deal somewhere else. If you're going to spend that amount of money... pick a better country club.

On behalf of YCC, we feel terrible that you were not pleased with our facility for your special day. We wish you would have said something the day of the wedding so we could have corrected any of these issues as they occured. We would like to take this opportunity to clear the air on a few of your complaints.

The reason the food was an hour behind schedule was because the bridal party was over an hour late and there were issues with the bride's dress being bustled. Plus the first guest didn't even arrive until 20 minutes after the bride scheduled cocktail and hors d'ouevres hour. Apparently there was an issue at the ceremony. I, (Tawnya) personally helped with the bride's dress bustle to get things moving along quickly. None of the guests said the food was cold when I went around to each table. If they would have said something we could have taken care of this issue immediately. The staff is very professional and we receive compliments on them quite often. We deeply apologize if an incident had occurred that you felt they were rude, we wish you would have brought this to our attention so we could have handled this immediately and professionally. After reading this review, I personally asked the head waitress if she was disrespected in any way throughout the night or in general and she didn't know what I was talking about. Thank you though for sticking up for her! We are unsure of why you think the bathrooms were filthy because we do clean them before each wedding as well as provide a bathroom basket with ladies necessities. If something was missed, our deepest apologies. There is a sign that says Valet Parking at the main entrance. We apologize if you felt the coat check was a waste of money. We cannot force people to valet their cars or hang their coats.

We really wish you would have expressed any of these issues the day of your wedding so we could have corrected them instead of seeing such disappointment in a review. Myself and the staff at YCC want nothing but happiness for each couple, their friends and family the day of your wedding. We wanted your day to be beautiful and special and for everyone to talk about it for years to come! We truly feel terrible that we had a couple walk away from this experience unhappy and we didn't even know it. Our deepest apologies. What makes our job so rewarding is seeing the couple happy with everything and all their visions come true...which is the impression we were under when we talked to the couple the evening of the wedding. We will use your criticism constructively for future weddings at YCC. Thank you.

The bride also seemed to leave out the fact that we were very flexible to work with the couple having broke up and cancelled and rescheduled their wedding twice. Plus numerous other items came up during the planning process that we were very flexible with.
