  We couldn't have asked for a better officiant! We were confident that Michelle would do a good job based on other reviews and family personal reviews but we never expected her to make us feel like we were the only two people in the world and personalize her words to fit us so well. We are more spiritual than religious and we were worried that our families would be offended/ disappointed not having scriptures from the bible. Also, we were worried it would be too short since we though there wasn't much to fill in the time without that kind of stuff. We had a wine ceremony which Michelle did wonderfully with the meaning and story of it. She went above and beyond with quotes and her own words to make a beautiful ceremony for us that we will never forget. She didn't attend the rehearsal, which she states in her first meeting and on her website, unless it's necessary. She didn't need to come. She did a fabulous job and having never heard what she wrote before, we were genuinely stunned and it added so much to the authenticity of our ceremony and truly showed our love that day.

  The most beautiful ceremony I ever witnessed

  I attend alot of weddings and have witnessed many ceremonies. Megan is by far the best I have ever seen. She is a sweet soul and gets to know her clients so she can bring a special personalization to that couples ceremony. She arrives early to make sure everything is set and helps organize too if need be. Look no further if you are reading this.

  Amazing experience!

  My now wife and I were organizing our wedding in Buffalo, NY all the way from the Midwest. Despite this added stress, Michelle was so easy to work with and was honestly a calming presence leading up to our big day. We talked several times via phone call / zoom. Throughout the whole process, Michelle was so accommodating and easy to work with. Immediately after our ceremony, all of our guests commented on how touching and heartfelt Michelle's service was - and we definitely agree. We loved it so much we asked Michelle for a copy of her service, which she very kindly provided to us.
  
  Again, thank you, Michelle, for making this such a lovely experience. We would recommend her to anybody!

  Very special

  Michelle made our special day even better. She met with each of us before the ceremony to make sure everything was right and ready. During the process she was very responsive on vows and giving us template's to pick from to make our vows perfect for us. We highly recommend Michelle if you are looking for an officiant.

  We Highly Recommend Michelle . We were completely unaware of the work in putting a small wedding ceremony together, Michelle was here from the beginning till the end. She even knows how to do a tie, when I had no clue. We love the thought & time she put in the ceremony and being available for anything we needed.

  Michelle from YellowBird was absolutely incredible. She made us feel so comfortable during our initial interview with her, and we had so many laughs! Along the planning process, Michelle was very prompt and answered any questions that we had. When our big day came, Michelle was AMAZING. Her words were magical, and made our ceremony the most beautiful moment of our lives. Our guests could not stop telling us how amazing Michelle was, and how much her words moved them. We would HIGHLY recommend Michelle and YellowBird for an officiant!

  Amazing!

  My husband and I just got married this past Saturday and we had the BEST experience with Karen. She really took the time to get to know us throughout the wedding planning process and our ceremony was absolutely flawless-I don't think it could have gone any better! There wasn't a dry eye at the ceremony and so many people commented on what a beautiful job Karen did. If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding, we highly recommend Karen Younus through YellowBird!!!!

  Michelle is an Absolute Delight

  Michelle with Yellowbird officiated our wedding on 11/18/2023 and she was absolutely incredible. I cannot stress how kind and warm she is, she put together the most beautiful and moving wedding ceremony I've ever witnessed and I'm beyond lucky it was ours. She's incredibly responsive, she filed all of our paperwork quickly, and she had a great price. i would highly suggest her, ESPECIALLY if you are looking for a secular wedding ceremony.

  Michelle was absolutely wonderful to work with. As soon as we met her we knew we wanted her to marry us. We had the best experience from start to finish. It is obvious that Michelle has done this many times before and she has perfected the experience. Communication was great and she took the time to personalize our ceremony. There were a lot of options for the ring ceremony and vows which made it very easy to choose from. We ended up combining a few and editing to make our own. We also did a sand ceremony that Michelle executed perfectly. She really took the time to make our ceremony personalized and you would think she has known us for years! After the ceremony we received so many complements about how beautiful and perfect the ceremony was. She also took care of the marriage license by sending it in after which was a huge responsibility taken off our plate. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We highly recommend Michelle!!

  Best Officiant ever!

  Michelle was the most amazing officiant ever!
  From the beginning, she always made sure to communicate and was so patient and understanding with any questions or concerns we may have had throughout the planning process! She took the time to set up meetings with us to know all the details about our love story and get to know who we are as individuals as well as a couple so she could personalize our vows :) we can’t imagine having anyone else officiate our wedding. Everything was perfect! We highly recommend Michelle or anyone from this company, they are amazing :)

  The Perfect Day

  Our officiant, Megan, was nothing short of incredible. She was amazing throughout the entire process, from initial meet and greet to the big day. She met with us early on and got to know my wife and I on a deeper level (our story and who we are as a couple) tailoring the ceremony to us perfectly.
  
  She was very communicative all throughout the process and was willing to go wherever we wanted to go for our elopement ceremony, ending up on a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls! She was so supportive and encouraging on the day of the wedding and really made our day as perfect as it could be.
  
  Megan is extremely personable and truly, truly kind and after it is all said and done we could not picture our wedding day with anyone else officiating. We are so grateful for everything that Megan did to make our day so special and would absolutely recommend to other prospective couples looking for the same kind of care in the future!

  Megan with Yellowbird officiated our wedding and we can't say enough great things about her! She had an initial interview with us to get to know us and hear our story, which she then used to craft our ceremony. She captured our story perfectly. She also had several vow and ring options for us to choose from, since we decided not to write our own vows. We chose to take parts from a few of the options and meld them together to get the wording exactly how we wanted. She was all around wonderful! Confident, clear speaker, and a comforting face to look at when you are a little nervous standing up in front of all your guests getting married!   YellowBird and Megan were amazing and extremely professional for our ceremony. Megan was very easy to talk to and set up our ceremony with. She was quick to respond to questions. During our initial meeting she went over all the different ideas and things we could do for our ceremony that we ended up loving. Megan put on such a great and lovely ceremony. We had many people come up to us after the ceremony asking where we found her and how amazing her ceremony. We would highly recommend her to anyone getting married and looking for an officiant!!

  Karen from yellowbird

  I found yellow bird in google, I reached out and they were quick to respond. The lady I spoke with gave me Karen’s contact information. From the first email I knew Karen was going to exceed all my expectations. We set up a FaceTime call to get to know eachother and tell her a bit about our story. Karen was very kind and easy to talk to. In the months leading up to the wedding she was always available for questions. The day of the wedding Karen was very helpful and had everything under control, nothing for me to worry about. During the ceremony Karen spoke clear for everyone to hear & slow enough for us to repeat her (I’ve been to weddings where the bride and groom couldn’t repeat because they went too fast). My favorite part was when Karen too memories that we told her about from our FaceTime call and added it into our ceremony. She also asked if there was anyone that passed away that we would like to incorporate into the ceremony which was a nice touch. All in all Karen from yellow bird was nothing short of amazing. She made it easy from start to finish. Thank you Karen for making the most important day of our lives perfect.

  Sunshine on a rainy wedding day

  We had a backyard barbecue, casual and laidback. Forecast did not predict the rain we got and from the moment Karen got there, she brought the calming and positive energy I needed! She was a constant gentle reminder that no matter what, my wedding day would be beautiful and she was right. She stood in the rain and married us in a short, sweet and thoughtful ceremony. I couldn’t recommend Karen more and already have to a couple of my friends!

  Personalized and engaging ceremony thanks to Megan!

  Megan was the perfect officiant for us. She really was attentive to details and was quite engaging at our ceremony.   Professional + Experienced with a Personal Touch

  One of the most important things to us, when choosing an officiant, was finding someone that would get to know us before our wedding day. We were so happy to meet with Megan over Zoom and she had so many options for us to help plan our wedding ceremony.
  Our ceremony was non-denominational and multi-cultural, and Megan did an excellent job with this. She was very patient with us, efficient at communicating, and always gave us the choice to modify parts of the ceremony.
  Hiring Megan was the best decision because she handled everything so professionally and I didn't have to worry about the ceremony at all. I felt great with her handling things throughout our rehearsal and on the wedding day.

  Michelle is simply the BEST!

  Don't hesitate, just book! Our officiant Michelle was so exceptional and deserves so much praise for her work! From start to finish, Michelle's communication and expertise was on point. She helped make us feel so comfortable throughout the entire planning process, from the initial zoom meeting to get to know every detail of our love story, to the day of wedding jitters. She captured every moment so perfectly and was so well spoken and engaging. After our ceremony, I had so many of my guests come up to me and tell me how absolutely wonderful she was! We couldn't of asked for a better officiant for our wedding day and we are so beyond grateful for everything Michelle did to help make it truly the best day of our lives.

  Absolutely amazing!

  Michelle was an absolute pleasure to work with! Our first time meeting was so comfortable and felt like we were just talking with an old friend. She truly made everything so easy and answered any and every question we had no matter when it was. She was always so responsive with her emails which I appreciate so much. When it came time for our ceremony let me just say that it was truly perfect! It felt so personal and and was everything we both wanted. Everyone has told us how much they loved our ceremony! She definitely captured our relationship perfectly and made sure to include the little details from our first meeting. I would recommend Michelle to everyone!! She’s the best!

  Beautiful and Romantically designed

  We worked with Megan K for our wedding and she is FANTASTIC. She was available to answer every question. We were even offered the chance to met to go over our dream ceremony before the wedding and everything ended up better than we hoped. Megan was one of our favorite wedding vendors to work with she was detail oriented and warm. We received so many compliments on our ceremony and Megan’s genuine character rang through so beautifully many of our family and friends thought she was a close friend of ours. I’m so glad we chose Megan I recommend her to all who are getting married!! Thank you Megan!!!

  Extremely professional, very easy to work with and talk to.

  My experience with Megan was amazing! She was so professional and very easy to talk to. She helped us navigate through everything for our vows and the ceremony as a whole and it was exactly what we wanted. Friends I have spoke to have said the whole ceremony was very “us” and I have Megan to thank for that. It was perfect and people are still talking about it.

  Exactly what we wanted

  Michelle was great. She met with us just for a little bit but managed to come up with the perfect personal touches to our ceremony. We did not want to write our own vows so she provided us with some to choose from. We had our marriage certificate a week later so she must have been on top of submitting everything. It made our day that much easier with one less thing to worry about!

In a brief meeting, she asked us a few questions about us/our relationship, and then gave us a list of vows that we could select from since we chose not to write our own. From that, she crafted a beautiful, perfectly customized ceremony that made it seem as though we had known her our whole lives.
  
  Michelle is also incredibly responsive and was very helpful when we had a few questions regarding our marriage license.
  
  Overall, our experience was totally stress free, and we received so many compliments about the ceremony from our guests!
