Michelle was amazing. I had one meeting with her and it was so easy going. She asked all the right questions about us individually and together. She kept up communication throughout the entire process. The ceremony she gave was beautiful and fit us perfectly. We were able to choose short ring and vow readings which was great because we did not want to say a lot in front of people. She made it thoughtful, personal and threw in some things to get laughs. My partner and I had Megan as our officiant, and she did a fantastic job. From the first conversation, which was oriented around getting to know us, through all of the stages of planning, Megan wanted this ceremony to be ours. She had plenty of suggested wordings for different parts of the wedding, but was even more excited when we decided to write our own wordings and take ownership of the ceremony.

Megan was the best officiant that we could have ever asked for. The way that she speaks so clear was something that our older guests commented on. The way that she announciates her words and speaks loudly really make the ceremony feel so special and intimate as well. We had 200 guests at the ceremony and there is no doubt in my mind that every person felt the love and included in the ceremony. We were able to snag Karen kind of last minute as our family member who we planned on officiating could no longer do it. She was very responsive and we did a FaceTime meeting to meet and discuss what we wanted our ceremony to look like. She was very accommodating and kept things simple just liked we wanted. Michelle was absolutely phenomenal! I sent an email because my husband and I wanted a unique wedding date and the courthouses would've been closed but she was prepared. Our wedding was held on 1/1/2025 and Michelle made it something worth remembering. (Unfortunately/Fortunately I've been through this once and it was vastly different.) We wanted just a witness there and our photographer was just that. After attending my cousin's wedding where Megan was the officiant, it was an easy choice for us to have her officiate our wedding as well. Megan was so easy to work with throughout the whole process! She learned a bit about my husband and I to add personal notes to the ceremony and we worked together to personalize our vows and the exchanging of the rings. Our secular ceremony brought guests to tears!
Michelle is such a cool person and she did a fantastic job officiating my wedding. She walked us through everything, from how to get a marriage license to choosing backup vows in case we got last minute stage fright. I hate public speaking and was anxious about the ceremony but she was such a calming presence and continually reassured me! She took the time to get to know us before the wedding so our ceremony felt personalized, and she even made special announcements at my request (like putting phones away and tossing rose petals during the recessional) to keep everything running smoothly. Her experience and professionalism is clear and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant. Thanks again!

Megan is Amazing
I can't say enough good things about our experience with Megan. She is very professional, very easy to talk to, and took time above and beyond of what was expected of her to ensure our day went flawlessly. She arrived on site the day of the ceremony, took the initiative to speak to our musicians to ensure our music would align with the key points of the ceremony, and just generally was a very calming presence during the entire thing. Plus my family loved her. Going into the process I was worried we might not hit it off with the officiant, not knowing them well. She quickly put these concerns to rest. After the first call, my now wife and I both let out a resounding "She's it".
She's genuine, professional, easy to work with, and knows exactly what she's doing. Go with Megan.

Amazing experience!
My now wife and I were organizing our wedding in Buffalo, NY all the way from the Midwest. Despite this added stress, Michelle was so easy to work with and was honestly a calming presence leading up to our big day. We talked several times via phone call / zoom. Throughout the whole process, Michelle was so accommodating and easy to work with. Immediately after our ceremony, all of our guests commented on how touching and heartfelt Michelle's service was - and we definitely agree. We loved it so much we asked Michelle for a copy of her service, which she very kindly provided to us.

Michelle was absolutely wonderful to work with. As soon as we met her we knew we wanted her to marry us. We had the best experience from start to finish. It is obvious that Michelle has done this many times before and she has perfected the experience. Communication was great and she took the time to personalize our ceremony. There were a lot of options for the ring ceremony and vows which made it very easy to choose from. We ended up combining a few and editing to make our own. We also did a sand ceremony that Michelle executed perfectly. She really took the time to make our ceremony personalized and you would think she has known us for years! After the ceremony we received so many complements about how beautiful and perfect the ceremony was. She also took care of the marriage license by sending it in after which was a huge responsibility taken off our plate. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We highly recommend Michelle!!

From the beginning, she always made sure to communicate and was so patient and understanding with any questions or concerns we may have had throughout the planning process! I found yellow bird in google, I reached out and they were quick to respond. The lady I spoke with gave me Karen’s contact information. From the first email I knew Karen was going to exceed all my expectations. We set up a FaceTime call to get to know eachother and tell her a bit about our story. Karen was very kind and easy to talk to. In the months leading up to the wedding she was always available for questions. The day of the wedding Karen was very helpful and had everything under control, nothing for me to worry about. During the ceremony Karen spoke clear for everyone to hear & slow enough for us to repeat her (I’ve been to weddings where the bride and groom couldn’t repeat because they went too fast). My favorite part was when Karen too memories that we told her about from our FaceTime call and added it into our ceremony. She also asked if there was anyone that passed away that we would like to incorporate into the ceremony which was a nice touch. All in all Karen from yellow bird was nothing short of amazing. She made it easy from start to finish. Thank you Karen for making the most important day of our lives perfect.

Sunshine on a rainy wedding day
We had a backyard barbecue, casual and laidback. Forecast did not predict the rain we got and from the moment Karen got there, she brought the calming and positive energy I needed! She was a constant gentle reminder that no matter what, my wedding day would be beautiful and she was right. She stood in the rain and married us in a short, sweet and thoughtful ceremony. One of the most important things to us, when choosing an officiant, was finding someone that would get to know us before our wedding day. We were so happy to meet with Megan over Zoom and she had so many options for us to help plan our wedding ceremony.
Our ceremony was non-denominational and multi-cultural, and Megan did an excellent job with this. She was very patient with us, efficient at communicating, and always gave us the choice to modify parts of the ceremony.
Hiring Megan was the best decision because she handled everything so professionally and I didn't have to worry about the ceremony at all. I felt great with her handling things throughout our rehearsal and on the wedding day.

Megan with Yellowbird officiated our wedding and we can't say enough great things about her! She had an initial interview with us to get to know us and hear our story, which she then used to craft our ceremony. She captured our story perfectly. She also had several vow and ring options for us to choose from, since we decided not to write our own vows. We chose to take parts from a few of the options and meld them together to get the wording exactly how we wanted. She was all around wonderful! About 2 weeks before our wedding we had a change in our plan and needed an officiant. We were recommended YellowBird by a friend who used their services, and to our surprise Karen was available. The Perfect Day
Our officiant, Megan, was nothing short of incredible. She was amazing throughout the entire process, from initial meet and greet to the big day. She met with us early on and got to know my wife and I on a deeper level (our story and who we are as a couple) tailoring the ceremony to us perfectly.
She was very communicative all throughout the process and was willing to go wherever we wanted to go for our elopement ceremony, ending up on a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls! She was so supportive and encouraging on the day of the wedding and really made our day as perfect as it could be.
Megan is extremely personable and truly, truly kind and after it is all said and done we could not picture our wedding day with anyone else officiating. We are so grateful for everything that Megan did to make our day so special and would absolutely recommend to other prospective couples looking for the same kind of care in the future!

Working with Michelle was effortless. In a brief meeting, she asked us a few questions about us/our relationship, and then gave us a list of vows that we could select from since we chose not to write our own. From that, she crafted a beautiful, perfectly customized ceremony that made it seem as though we had known her our whole lives.
Michelle is also incredibly responsive and was very helpful when we had a few questions regarding our marriage license.

Michelle was great. She met with us just for a little bit but managed to come up with the perfect personal touches to our ceremony. Michelle from Yellow Bird Wedding was my officiant at my wedding and she was wonderful. From the beginning she understood what I wanted the ceremony to look like and organized everything. Exactly what we were looking for
After many years together, we decided on fairly short notice (less than 8 weeks) to get married. We wanted to do something quiet and private, yet still warm and personal (i.e. not City Hall). Reading the reviews of YellowBird made it an easy decision to contact Michelle about officiating our ceremony. She was very responsive and lovely to work with - both in preparing for the ceremony and on the day of our wedding. She took the time to get to know enough about us to make us feel that the ceremony was designed based on our personalities and relationship and was helpful with suggestions on writing vows and where to perform the ceremony itself. On the day of, Michelle arrived before we did, patiently waited while we determined the exact spot to stand, and then delivered her remarks in a very thoughtful (and brief, thankfully, since it was 90 degrees and we were all melting) way. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend YellowBird to anyone looking for a professional, caring officiant for their special day!

Karen was absolutely fantastic. We had a small wedding, and she really took the time to get to know us and put personal touches in our ceremony. She was so responsive throughout the whole process and made our ceremony a moment I will never forget. The ceremony was beautiful, and I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone.

Michelle delivered the most beautiful wedding ceremony for my husband and I. We are so glad we decided to have Michelle officiate out wedding day. She has been such a pleasure to work with and really customized our ceremony to fit us as a couple and touched on so many important parts of our relationship. We were stressed about having to come up with ceremony vows but Michelle had a number of options for us to choose from and customize. All were beautifully written and our family is still commented on how nice our ceremony was.

Wonderful ceremony that was unique for us!
Karen was very responsive and helped to make our wedding day special. We weren't positive what to expect while looking for an officiant. Our venue recommended YellowBird and we had a call with Karen. She asked us questions particular to us as a couple and incorporated everything that was important to us in the ceremony. It was amazing how she turned our answers into a love story for friends and family to hear. She provided some vows and allowed us to tweak them to suit us personally. Communicating through email primarily after the initial call was very responsive and we felt very comfortable and happy that Karen was able to officiate this special day. Highly recommend !!

I never saw myself having a huge wedding, or even a small wedding! My now husband and I reached out to Michelle one month before our planned wedding date and told her our story and what we envisioned our special day to be like. She was responsive to emails and we hopped on a zoom call within a week of our first email. Our wedding date came and Michelle delivered. It was like she was a long time friend, so welcoming and so personable. She made us feel so comfortable during such an important event in our new life together. We had a little wedding with one witness and Michelle made it perfect. It was absolutely perfect. Not to mention she came out in 15 degree weather for an outdoor wedding. That is dedication to her craft. Thank you Michelle!

Karen was amazing to have be apart of our day! Karen was very responsive leading up to the wedding. She took the time to get to know my husband and I so that she could really add a personal touch to our day. The day of the wedding she arrived early and checked in with both of us. Amazing!
Megan was amazing! She went above and beyond! Megan knew how much I wanted my dog at the wedding but couldn’t, she talked about him in the ceremony to our surprise. She checked in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly sent me examples of vows , readings to help us choose the ones that matches perfectly to our love story. Megan is one of a kind when it comes to weddings she has a real passion for this and I would recommend her to any one!

I can’t begin to explain how amazing Megan was as an officiant and person! My now husband and I met Megan for the first time via FaceTime and it felt so natural, she was so easy to talk to and explained our love story. When meeting Megan in person at our rehearsal it felt like we knew her for years- she was so sweet and all of our family and friends loved her. She made our ceremony exactly what we could ask for! The best officiant ever!
Michelle was absolutely amazing! From the very start she was attentive, easy to work with, and a great listener. She answered all of our questions. We live out of state but got married back in my hometown. So I double-checked with her a couple of times to make sure we were doing things correct. When we asked if we could have our bridal party send her some stories about us to make the ceremony even more personal, she bring it on! There was not a dry eye in the house during our ceremony. I loved that she came and checked with us right before the whole thing started to make sure we didn't need anything. We would give Michelle all the stars! She is just fantastic. Afterward we said "I Dos" and walked back down the aisle she made sure to track us down, had our witnesses sign the paperwork right away. If you need an officiant she is it!

Wonderful Wedding Officiants
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at the Botanical Gardens in September of 2022. As part of the wedding package, Botanical Gardens provides recommended vendors and YellowBird Weddings was one of them - for good reason!
As two people who have gone to many weddings, we knew we wanted a very quick, non-religious ceremony. My husband and I have been together for close to ten years and really wanted a ceremony that was representative of the life we share together. Michelle, having only met with us a few times, was able to perfectly capture that.
Our experience with Michelle was wonderful - start to finish. Michelle first met with us to get to know us better. We knew we did not want to exchange our own personal vows and she provided several non-traditional options for readings, vows, and exchanging rings. We were able to customize the vows as we wanted.
On the day of, her ceremony was beautiful. We had several people approach us after and tell us how fitting it was for our relationship, and how refreshing her words were. People said they couldn't stop nodding along with what she was saying because of how well it described the two of us.
I would absolutely recommend YellowBird Wedding, especially Michelle, to any couple. We can't thank her enough for making our ceremony so special.

I would definitely recommend.
Karen was our officiate for our wedding ceremony and we could not be any happier with the service she provided, After meeting with Karen for our video chat, Karen personalized the ceremony to us and included details we shared with her during our video chat and our children. Karen handled sending in our marriage license, which we got back pretty fast and getting the signatures from our witnesses. She was early for the ceremony and checked in with us, everything was great! Thank you Karen!!!!

Perfect officiant!
Karen did such an amazing job officiating our wedding! We had an outdoor ceremony at our venue that we did not want to be focused on religion. Karen did a beautiful job giving us options to choose from for our vows and ring exchange. We were able to pick the option we felt best fit us. We're SO glad we found Karen. She was extremely easy to work with, answered all my questions, and made the ceremony so easy. Took all my stress away. More than we ever could have asked for!
My husband and I went back and forth about asking a family member to marry us or hiring an officiant. After lots of discussion, we decided we wanted to hire someone to take the officiant duties off our plate of things to worry about. We stumbled upon Megan from YellowBird, and I am so happy we did! Megan was so incredibly professional to work with from our very first meeting. She took time to get to know my husband and I, and she gave us so many options and ideas to customize our ceremony to us perfectly. Having only ever been to Catholic ceremonies, we didn’t have much of an idea of what we wanted for our non-religious ceremony. Megan gave us options for our readings, ring exchange, and vows to pick from and helped us as we edited them all to make them completely ours. Our ceremony went flawlessly, and we received so many compliments about how Megan captured our love so purely in our ceremony. I would recommend Megan to anyone!

Michelle did an absolutely wonderful job as our wedding officiant. 07/01/2022 - Nearhoof Wedding
Michelle was the absolute best we could have ever asked for!! We were supposed to get married 6/25/2021 and she didn’t even hesitate to reschedule with us when we postponed due to Covid.
Michelle was so easy to get a hold of and so easy to talk to. We had only talked a handful of times and never even met in person until the day of the wedding. That didn’t stop her from talking to us over the phone and getting to know who we are as a couple on a personal level. She was able to make our ceremony so personal that people asked us how long she had been in our lives!!
She was the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough!!
