Absolutely Amazing
They were extremely helpful with everything and making sure that they got all the highlights of our special day and then some! Every time we watch the video it's just like we experience the day all over again. We couldn't ask for any better! -

Absolutely perfect
We reached out to Peter and Yellow Dog very late notice after deciding last minute we wanted a videographer at our wedding. The video they put together is absolutely priceless and perfectly stitched together the highlights of our wonderful day. Peter and his wife were extremely comfortable to be around and everything flowed flawlessly. Also, their prices are extremely reasonable compared to some others we’d looked at. We can’t thank them enough! -

Exactly what we wanted!
Peter and Sue were awesome to work with! We were looking for someone to record our ceremony, speeches, and dances in a way that felt personal and not overly-produced. Peter and Sue did exactly that! All of the footage looks great, and they were flexible and accommodating when our wedding had to be moved up an hour just a couple days before -

Our special day
Yellow Dog Production was reccomended by a family member to us. We were very happy with our wedding video! I love how Peter and Sue were filming both of us getting ready for the ceremony, it really captured the feeling. I would highly reccomend them to any couple! -

Best Videographer Ever!
Yellow Dog was incredible. They captured every moment of our wedding and created a video better than we ever could have imagined! Watching back, they had captured even the smallest, funniest little moments that we would have forgotten about otherwise. They were so flexible with time, easy to contact, and super friendly. Peter and Sue were so lovely to work with. They were so flexible and easygoing, adding no stress at all to a busy day. Their work was superb and yet they were totally non-intrusive. I barely noticed them the entire evening and yet the shots they got were so intimate and wonderful. The video they ended up putting together was amazing, and we'll treasure it video forever. Would absolutely recommend to anyone else. -

Peter and Sue of Yellow Dog Production were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with (and with a great name as well!). They were very easy to talk to and I knew instantly that I would trust them with our wedding video. During the planning stages, they were very easy going and knew exactly the topics that needed to be discussed to be ready for the big day. During the wedding, I honestly didn't even notice them filming for the most part and the end product was AWESOME!!! They did a wonderful job capturing all aspects of the wedding and I am so so glad we decided to hire a videographer in general, and I would hire Yellow Dog Production again in a heartbeat. -

Wow, so happy we booked Yellow Dog Production as our videographer!! My husband and I are in love with our wedding video - it is perfect! Peter and Sue did an incredible job capturing our day, and they were so easy to work with! They took the time to meet up with us prior to the wedding to go over all of the details, and were always quick to answer questions via email. We had the option to add a drone to our video package, and I'm so glad that we did! Our wedding was on the coast, and the drone captured the view perfectly! If you're able to add the drone - do it! Our wedding videos (3 copies) arrived in a beautiful case with our wedding pictures on the front and back. I contacted Peter and Sue to see if I could get another copy of the video, and within a few weeks I had another copy in my mailbox! If you're looking for a videographer that is professional, reasonably priced, and delivers a fantastic product - look no further! -

Peter & Sue were both so amazing from start to finish! They accomodated everything we asked & went above & beyond! They even attended our rehearsal dinner, were there to record all of getting ready & stayed until late that night to also record our outside bonfire! The videos are amazing & I can't stop watching them! They were the nicest people & truly showed they care about their work. I'm not great at responding to emails & Peter would keep up with me instead! I would recommend them to anyone that wants an amazing wedding video!!! -

Peter and Susie are such incredible people!! My husband and I cannot thank them enough for everything that they did for our special day. They are the most genuine and caring people we got the pleasure of working with on our day. A couple weeks before the wedding we had a in person meeting with them both and they went through everything step by step in so much detail, it was awesome. I loved how they made us feel so special, you can definitely tell that they love what they do and want their couple's to have the best day of their lives. We could not be more grateful to not feel like just a paycheck to them. They truly wanted us to have the most special day and they were so easy going and were there for my husband and I. We cannot wait to see the final product! We would work with them again in a heartbeat!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! -

Peter and Sue were incredible to work with for our last-minute elopement in Bar Harbor, ME. They went above and beyond! We were originally scheduled for our ceremony on top of Cadillac Mountain, but Peter called me about 45 minutes before the start time and said that he was there and the cloud cover was too obtrusive so he recommended moving our ceremony into town instead that way we'd have a more beautiful backdrop; so we did and it was perfect! They even surprised us with a highlight video a few days later! They are such a sweet couple and I could tell immediately that they were determined to capture every shot perfectly. I cannot say enough good things about them. -

I highly highly recommend Yellow Dog Production! Peter and Sue were absolutely amazing! Peter took time to meet with me in person a few months prior to my wedding to go over all the details of my wedding day. It is obvious that Peter and Sue are very passionate about what they do. Peter and Sue went above and beyond to make sure they captured all the special moments of my wedding day. I had so many guests come up to me and say how impressed they were with Peter and Sue. A few days after my wedding Peter and Sue had already created a highlight video from my wedding...A FEW DAYS AFTER! I could not believe it! It was so special that I can't even imagine what the entire video will look like. I feel like it is rare today to meet people that are so passionate and truly love what they do. They did an amazing job capturing the day, were very easy to coordinate with, and communication throughout the process was always open and consistent! The final video package was excellent, which included multiple DVD copies with cover art, digital HD and Standard Def copies, and the original raw footage. -

Peter and Susan were responsive from the day I sent my first inquiry about their availability and the attention continued through our wedding day and the post-production/editing phase. Having two videographers at your wedding means you'll catch every angle of your favorite moments, and it really shows in the highlight reel and full length DVD. I just received my DVD and can't stop watching it. Susan came ready to shoot while I was getting ready with my bridesmaids, while Peter went to the grooms room to catch some moments with his wedding party. They were so great that my sister hired them for her wedding! -

Yellow Dog was great. We contacted them from out of state, had no references and thought we were taking a bit of a chance. Also we were late in scheduling. They accommodated our schedule and needs entirely and asked great questions so that they could know what and how to shoot. They did the shoot very nicely at our wedding so that they were not intrusive but captured key moments. And their production was just wonderful. Working with Peter and Susan was so easy and enjoyable. They were very professional and blended right in you didjt even notice them there. My husband and I were extremely impressed with the quality of the video. The days leading up to a wedding can be very stressful, but the professionalism of Peter and Susan was excellent and allowed me to focus on the many other details. The day of the wedding, the two were on-time and captured some interviews before the wedding which truly made the video so special because it captured moments that otherwise I never would have seen. Susan and Peter worked together as a great team, and most of the time, I never even realized they were there. They worked well with the photographer so that all of our moments were captured by video and photography. It did take a little over 5 months from our wedding date for us to receive the video, but the quality was well worth the wait! It was so good, that we booked them for my sister's wedding the following year! Thank you Peter and Susan for helping us treasure and preserve the most important day of our lives! -

The day of the wedding, Peter and Susan did a great job - we did not even realize they were there half the time because it goes by so fast, but they were able to capture every magical moment. My husband and I were so pleased with the video and the package we chose came with two additional DVD's. Can’t wait for the final video
Peter was so accommodating. He helped us pick the best package for us, and was kind enough to allow us to add additional hours so one videographer could stay for our sparkler send-off. He met with us personally and helped us walk through all of the forms and details needed beforehand, including allowing us to pick music, photos, etc. to go along with the video footage. Day-of, we barely noticed the videographers were there, even though we each had one assigned to follow us around. They worked flawlessly with our photographer, and were so nice and fun. We can’t wait to receive our final video! -

We found Yellow Dog Production on WeddingWire when searching for a wedding videographer and we could not have been happier with their professionalism, flexibility on the day of the wedding and the amount of footage they captured. When speaking with past brides, some told me that not having a videographer at their wedding was the one thing they regret. We can say that we definitely don't regret having video footage and are so happy that we went with Yellow Dog Production. Their price was very reasonable and we had them for the entire day. We have watched the video several times already and are so pleased with everything they captured and how they put the day together - from including still images to going back and forth from my morning with my bridesmaids to my husband's morning with his groomsmen getting ready. We laughed, we cried, but we mostly laughed with the extra special footage that was added to the end of the video from friends and family! Having video footage of such a special day can really bring back memories when we are older and for when we have children - there is just something unbelievable about movie footage years down the road. -

The video's were great! The whole expierience was very nice. They were professional. Only gripe was it took kind of a long time to get the final product, but it was worth the wait! -

Initially we weren’t going to get a videographer to try to cut costs since we were paying for the wedding. After thinking about it, it was something that we really wanted to do but when we looked at the average cost some people are charging we were really put off. We came across Yellow Dog who offered a more reasonable price and reviews said they had great service so we decided to go with them. They were very thorough in explaining the details of how they work before the event as well as the process after. They showed up on time and were prepared and professional. They also respected our wishes of things we wanted to capture and preferred not to. Lastly, the turn around time on the preview video as well as the complete whole video was great. I would recommend Yellow Dog Productions to anyone looking for a great videographer for a fair rate in the Maine area.

Very nice people and very easy to work with. Be very specific about what you want/don't want in your video. They are not mind readers (nor should they be expected to be). Overall very nice people and they just want you to be happy with the final product, so be specific and they will do their best to accommodate you. -

We were recommended Yellow Dog Production by my Husband's cousin. Meeting with Peter before the big day made everything so easy. Our wedding video came out beautifully. We really enjoyed being able to relive our special day as well as see things we didn't remember our selves. Peter and Susan were both very easy to work with and made sure they were around for all the important moments. There were many times i forgot they were even in the room. The only thing i would have done differently is I would have had them stay for longer!! I didn't want to stop watching :-)
Thank you Yellow Dog Productions for making such a special keep sake from our wedding. We will cherish the video forever.

Video services were a gift. Glad to be able to watch our wedding day over again! The video is more of a "capture what happened" type video, and less of an "artful" video. If you're looking for documentation of a special event, go with Yellow Dog. -

We found Yellow Dog Video about 7 months before our wedding, and they were quick to respond and answer all of our questions and send us materials and examples of their work. On the wedding day they arrived on time and were filming right away. They were polite with guests and respectful of space in relation to the shots they were getting. During the ceremony we didn't notice them, but when the video came back to us they had captured everything. After the wedding it was just a quick 4 months later we had our very own 2 hour movie of our day! We would highly recommend them! -

Is there a way to give zero stars? I am absolutely disgusted with Peter and Susan. My (now) husband and I reached out to Peter and Susan because they offered a specific feature with one of their packages (a well wishes section.) We had an initial phone call with them before hiring them. The one thing my husband cared about was this feature. They assured us that this is what they do, and we booked them. Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding. We had our first face to face meeting with them. Once again, this was brought up - promised this is what they do. Fast forward to the day of the wedding. My husband confirmed with Susan - yes, we do this. OK - well...fast forward to last week when we got our video. Our video did not have these as part of it. It was basically full songs of people dancing on the dance floor. They placed the video camera at the corner of the dance floor for the whole night and were no where to be found. On top of all of this, they brought an extra person who was their intern, without even asking if this was ok.
I sent an email asking if he would be sending this portion separately. Rather than saying "I made a mistake" he blamed it on our (fantastic) DJ, and said "some people are shy." He took no ownership. My husband called him that night, and his response was "I think you are over reacting." My husband let him know that he didn't think we were overreacting - Peter then said he would "review the video and get back to us." Well, it's now been a week and we haven't heard anything.
We would not have booked him if we knew he wouldn't follow through with this. This is the only reason my husband wanted the videographer. We both selected one "extra" for our wedding off of the traditional list of dress, tux, cake, venue etc. This was his. What a complete disappointment.
I would NEVER recommend their services to anyone. -
