  Affordable and stellar small business-caterer in Tacoma!

  We were so thrilled to have found Gwen and Yellow Bird Catering for our wedding. Gwen was a treasure to work with. It's rare to find companies in the wedding industry that can so naturally make conversation and get to know you as people and not just a money-making opportunity. Gwen was so easy to communicate with and was very open to our ideas and food requests -- she even tried out different salmon recipes to add that to our menu! I didn't get to interact with the team much day-of but everything looked beautiful and one of guests commented that it was the smoothest buffet they had experienced! Also, the mushroom appetizers were out-of-this-world-good -- thanks YBC for being with us for this special time!

  Gwen and her staff were great! Everything went so smooth and our guests loved everything they provided! We had the roasted porkloin with blueberry balsamic sauce, the rosemary garlic chicken, the crudités service, teriyaki meatballs, and the garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was fabulous! Highly recommend!

  Yellow Bird was great! They were willing to work with some dietary issues of guests that we needed implemented. The food was delicious and everyone loved the bartenders. They were very responsive the weeks leading up to my wedding regarding any questions I had to make sure everything was set. Plenty of different menu options to fit a person's diet and budget.

  Trust us. Just don't. I feel like her and her staff barely pulled it off. Seemed chaotic. Food had no flavor! At least she responded fast to my emails?

  This cater was who I hired for my 2020 wedding due to the pandemic we had to move to 2021 everything seemed fine then they went out of business and turned off all communication the website is gone email link is dead and phone disabled. They stole $1400 the owner is Gwen Nobel-ward.
